Bjorn hurries ahead as well, and is aw struck by the array of weaponry. He looks over the walls for something that would be an upgrade to his great-sword. (2d6+7) Investigation2
Tykoris will move up towards the figure and bow, "Greetings, I am Tyrkoris Dawnbringer, faithful of Lathander. Are you aware that your temple has been invaded by a heretic intent on using forbidden magics?"
"You speak of thinks that are beyond my function." The construct replies without stopping its work. "Is there something I can help you with..."

The stockpile of weapons is truly impressive. There are +3 Magical Weapon variations of every simple and martial weapon listed in the Player’s Handbook, as well as a Holy Avenger Longsword, a Mace of Smiting, an Oathbow, a Sunblade and a Greatsword of Sharpness.
Pinnacle steps forward and tries to reason with the construct, perhaps being of similar construction would have the ability to communicate better.
"We are sent by someone to stop this incurrsion and seek assistance in the fulfillment of that responsibility. Are there things within your function that you can do to render assistance to us? Can you describe your function to us so we can more fully know what resources are available to us to complete our function?" His eyes wander across the variety of weaponry in the hall. "Is this armory available for the use of anyone that would defend the temple? If so, the supplies here could be indeed useful."

"We are on a mission from Ahmzael, Planetar of Oghma. We act at their direction to prevent a catastrophe and time is short. That permission should suffice your needs."
Without waiting for clearance that may not come, Pinnacle stows away his warpick and selects one from the wall grasping the pommel and moving to pull the weapon down.
(Upgrading to a +3 Warpick unless something (the Smith) stops me. But seeing as how we won't be getting permission from anyone in this temple I say if the name drop doesn't work we fight it out for the upgraded gear.)

As you reach out your hand finds an invisible barrier blocking you from reaching the weapon in question.
Real steps up the efforts "Indeed we are here to protect and preserve this Temple. I am sure that is what these weapons are for."persuasion: 21 if with advantage then: 18
"You need to find a high-ranking member of this temple if you wish to have a weapon loaned to you." The construct says with a shake of his head. He continues his work.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Weapon Forger, there is no time for that. Surely you have a protocol for releasing arms to defenders when the temple is under attack and no high ranking authorizer is available."
Pinnacle turns to the group. "Show him one of the hour glasses we received from Ahmzael. Perhaps that will make him realize we speak in earnestness."
GM - Can Pinnacle tell what the source of the force preventing him from obtaining a weapon is? Do I believe there is a place where I could apply a Dispel Magic or brute force to release the hold? Here is an Arcana check in the event that it is pertinent. 14

You believe it to be a wall of force.
The construct ignores your words and continues to work.
Real will move back into the corridor and search in another direction, again allowing Clay to work the front along with whoever is stealthy (Iorythas?).
(OOC: Do we have a map of the corridor again? I don't remember directions :-) )

Real hears the conversation and quickly closes the distance to see what is going one. He waits for any response to Tykoris.

"Weapons..." Saralyssa says from the doorway. She gives a disapproving huff and turns to wait in the hall.
Real will ask the construct "Is there a similar place in this temple to find armor or shields?"

"oooh... Is THAT a greatsword of sharpness?" Bjorn says to the smith. He clearly has a sharp eye. "What can I do to make that mine?"

"I do not work with armor or shields." The armor says with a glance to Real.
"You only need permission from a high-ranking member of the temple, then I can loan out any weapon you wish." He tells Bjorn.
"My function is caretaker and smith of these weapons." he answers his fellow construct. "That is my only function."

Iorythas will continue to hide and listen wanting to be in a good position incase the Smith tried to attack them.

Pinnacle really should not be handling the social skills...so I am all for aiding Real and letting his advantage rolls stand.
