"What an impressive sight, Kasimir, you are an Elf indeed" The Revenant smiles at its own sarcasm and follows the Mistbusters in the crack of the wall, nevertheless, he reminds to advice Grim yelling 

"Grim, we are heading to our final destination here, follow us in the crack of the wall, don't waste your time around, the faster we exit the better it is"

As you yell that, you wait for a moment before hearing sprinting as Grim rounds the corner and passes you. Weird... wonder what that was about. Regardless, you all enter through the crack in the wall.

The amber-covered walls are sculpted to look like tentacles that entwine around marble bas-reliefs of kings, queens, pharaohs, and sultans attended by myriad slaves.

The west, south, and east walls contain alcoves, and standing in each alcove is a tall, rough block of amber. In the center of the room are carved circular grooves in some sort of pattern, no bigger than a rug. You currently stand in the southern portion of the room. Kasimir takes a few steps further in, muttering, “Incredible. I’ve finally made it. Do not worry, sister, I will undo the wrongs of the past...” He will examine the three sarcophagi. Anyone else doing anything?

"So, Kasimir, what would be your plan now?" The Revenant asks looking around still trying to figure out what kind of Temple is this and to be sure that none Amber Golem is going to break the wall and come through

This portion of the temple is definitely more grandiose than the rest of it. It’s almost like a shrine. Perhaps these may be the most powerful gifts? Meanwhile, Kasimir stops at the eastern alcove. “My plan is to get my sister back. Regardless of what I need to bear.” Kasimir looks to the mote of darkness as it fluctuates, as it did with you and Bry, and says, “I accept.” As he does so, the vitality of the elf completely drains. Skin clings close to bone, color fades, and his eyes sink back. He looks almost ghoulish in appearance now. Taking a deep breath, Kasimir sighs, “It is done.”

Elwarith draws back an arrow as he's caught off guard by the transformation of Kasimir....

He seems confused, “What? Is something wrong?”

Bry smiles, "You look like death friend."

"What the man with six fingers said....."

"Kasimir no look like death.  Kasimir look dead." 

Kasimir inspects his hands and looks into a piece of reflective amber, “Ah. That’s an... interesting side effect. However, I assure you that I am completely the same Kasimir you knew before, it’s merely a visual effect.”

"Well as long as you don't start to smell we'll be alright"

“Of course. Now, do any of you have a plan for actually getting us to the castle? I would assume you would after going through all of this to help me.”

"Can we simply not walk through the front gates?" Bry smiles wryly, "Or maybe you could recite some poetry or do an interpretive dance in order to draw him out, it would draw me out, go ahead give me some bars of poetry off the top of your head"

Elwarith sings a sea shanty he remembered hearing....

"The captain of this lugger,
He was a dirty bugger,
He wasn’t fit to shovel shit
From one ship to another.

The captain’s wife was Mabel.
Whenever she was able,
She’d fornicate with the second mate
Upon the galley table."

he shrugs...."there's more to it but I doubt that'll get us in to the castle.....perhaps we should worry about getting out of here first.  That large amber fellow stomping around might not be happy with us."

Bry clapped excitedly, his eyes going wide as Elwarith stepped up and sang the shanty. "Surely that would draw him out"

"Don't get too excited, the blood loss and near death experience has made me light headed...."

"So you are saying that once we get you right as rain it'll be an even better performance?"

"No...what I'm saying is that I'd be more likely to jam this in your ear than to entertain you...." and Elwarith will smile slyly and hold up the broken arrow head he carries around.

"Tsk tsk tsk, that's too bad, you really do have a nice singing voice my friend" Bry moved over towards Kasimir, "So, where is your sister then? Do we need to bring her back first, or are you good to go now?"

"Well, I guess life is overrated nowadays in this land" the Revenant comments looking at the dusk Elf with a smile "As long as you don't try to bite us I am fine with your new look...I mean...look at mine..."

"With that said, our plan is...definitely reach the castle and its badass Lord, but still, we are following a kind of Fortune that, I have to admit, it seems to be on point on what we need to kill Strahd" Adanmar unsheathes satisfied his Sunsword.

"So...for example we need to find a place of supplication inside a castle to collect a holy symbol of great hope, I am thinking it could be Strahd castle and moreover a fortress inside a fortress, in a place hidden behind fire....do you have any idea of what all of this could mean? Do you have any information about his castle?"
