“Well, yes we need to revive my sister, but the difficulty is that she’s in the crypts of Castle Ravenloft. It’s why I was hoping you might have a plan. Those gates don’t open for anyone without a personal invite from the devil himself. As for knowing anything, I only know the legends. Things like, he can walk through its walls, rip the still writing shadows from unwary souls, that kind of thing. I don’t know much about the architecture itself.”

"Well, damn, you are right Davmorn, we have a fancy, beautiful handwrote Badass's invitation to the Castle!"
"It will be a trap of some sort I fear too but, if we don't have another way to get in, we could pass the gate and then look for the others trinkets we need to kick his ass, what do you think?"
"Well, I am so damn freaked by this place that I will make an objection to my own plan..."
"Strahd it seemed a little bit off of our clatch last time we met him, what do you think about finding other allies to fight him? In the village of Krezk, it seems that a new religious leader is turning famous, what do you think about trying with him? maybe you two Davmorn, could find some common grounds..."
And so, the MistBusters (and Kasimir) set off once more. Avoiding the traps of the temple, the whispering voices, and giant janitors, you rest for the night in Kasimir’s cove. You once again trudge through the blisteringly cold snow, and work your way back along the Tsolenka Pass. The remains of the demons still stain the way back through the curtain of green flame, which rises once more as you cross over it. The black rider is nowhere to be seen, yet the heavy fog of morning clouds your view. However, on the air, you hear the heavy beat of... battle drums? No.. no... that’s not it. It sounds like... wings? That’s when a impossibly massive form clears the fog. Diving toward the bridge is a creature of unearthly size — a bird so monstrous that its wings blot out the sky. A deafening shriek pierces the silence as a giant taloned claw grabs onto a horse and is now pulling you toward the bridge.
Elwarith draws his rapier out and begins to hack at the reigns tethering the horse to the rest of the wagon......best to lose one horse than to lose the whole party!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
George, in a moment of pure rage against this giant flying turkey, grabs the horse and jumps off the wagon. He’s being pulled with it, but as he gets to the edge, he plants his feet firmly in the floor. The roc is flapping and squawking, trying to free the horse, 18. However, it can’t seem to pull the horse from George’s grasp. The monstrous avian releases the horse from its claws and flies back into the sky. You’ve bought yourself a moment of time.
Meanwhile, Kasimir has stuck his head out of the wagon, “Come on! We need to get to the other side of the bridge quickly! The roc will come back! I worry that this time he may set his sights on one of us!”

Davmorn nods, “Aye, that could work. We’d be in the belly o’ the beast, but we’d be close enough to snag ‘em before he might notice.”
If anyone has any objections or ideas, please state them now. Otherwise, let us be off... to Castle Ravenloft.
