The monk leaps from assualting Bry to instead attacking the first swarm of bats, but cannot seem to find purchase on the swarm. The bats move too quick for even Grim's staff and fists to strike.
Ireena, seeming to not have any luck attacking with a small sharp object, will instead try to use the firewood again. She will join Grim in attacking the first swarm of bats, 11, AND MISSES AGAIN!... Ech hem, Ireena swings toward the swarm with the flames, however she too cannot seem to find purchase on these furry monstrosities.

The second swarm of bats release an echoed screech. As Adanmar runs to hide, they seem to know exactly where he is. They chase him down and will bite and claw at him, 17, and one just manages to get instead the neck of his armor. Crawling around and biting places that should never be bitten, Adanmar takes 5 piercing damage.

As George lies unconscious, Davmorn will run over to the orc and cast Cure Wounds at level 1 for 15 HP (Maximized due to his Grave Cleric feature). George feels life pulse into his body once more as the same energy that had assailed him before, now empowers him. The charmed effect is no longer present, it seems to have left as George was knocked out.

Locked in combat with Ireena and Grim, the first bat swarm will lash out toward Grim, 18, but miss as the monk actually catches the attacking bats midair and throws them back into the swarm.
