“So Parker, are we ready to go? All the t’s crossed and I’s dotted?” I inquire of Parker as we pore over the documents he’s made at assist us with getting on the ship.

Murph bursts into his room, breath heaving, and plants his back against a wall, eyes closed but nevertheless looking upward at stars he couldn't see. That was close. Nearly got killed by a suit of armor, all thanks to overcleverness, Murph. Good job.
He starts to address some of the wounds inflicted by the suit of armor, wrapping swollen bumps tightly with linens and washing a few cuts with clean water and conjuring some room temperature ingots to be slightly cooler than normal with a bit of arcane technique he was starting to pick up.

He's almost forgotten about the three watches he'd managed to steal, only realizing they were there when his hand brushed against a pocket. He pulls them out and examines them. "These are almost worth the bumps and bruises! Oh, this one is a masterpiece. This one's okay, but I want to see what's inside. And this one, well, I hope the insides are much more interesting than the outside."
While he heals up, he begins taking apart the last watch and tinkering away with the parts he discovers, hoping to find the appropriate parts and mechanisms to be able to get linked up to parts of the eliciter with the goal of getting four working spies murmurs (two pairs). It might not be an overnight project, but he'd made some progress and hoped to have at least a working prototype before he went to sleep. Who he'd use them with was another matter entirely. Instructions might come, or perhaps someone would walk through his door...
“Well then, I guess there’s nothing left to do but wait for Magnus. Or perhaps that person we meet earlier ... Do you recall her name? I know it started with a ‘Bit and she seemed to have quite the fascination with your shirt buttons.” I’ll rub my chin while saying all of this and looking skyward trying to recall the name of the individual.
“Darling, you can call me what ever you want.” Blair stood all dressed in her black leathers, grinning to Dart. She’d lean in to him. “Do you have buttons I should be fascinating myself with?”
You're both surprised by Blair entering the scene, not least because of her tight leathers that, while covering everything, leave little to the imagination. Whatever she was planning, this was certainly an interesting get-up

Hearing Parker pipe up in his familiar stutter, Blair would stand back upright and turn to him. “Hi Sweetheart.” She’d smile stepping over close to him. “Have everything you need?”
As the clock strikes eleven, you see a small schooner pull in, with Magnus at the helm. He helps you both onto the schooner, looking at Parker and Dart and noticing Parker's nod, says:
"A'right, looks like Blair's got her way onto the ship, now, about the two of you- I got some uniforms in the cabin. The crew will take you out to the flotilla, but if you're stopped by the Fist, you're on your own. I told the crew to help you load up anything you can, but apart from that, they don't know what the plan is- you can tell them as much as you need to, but I kept them out of the loop deliberately, in case something goes wrong and they're questioned after.
A couple of last things: If anything feels off or goes wrong, call this thing off. I much rather have two operatives and working papers and no shipment, than having both of you locked up in Wyrm's rock or dead at the bottom of the bay. If you need to bail and run, rendez-vous with Ol' Finehair in Rivington at midnight by the fishing docks in two days' time. He can get you out if necessary.
If things go well, the captain of the schooner knows where to go- there are plenty of caverns like the ones you met us in, and we can hide the cargo there. We will meet a day later at the cemetery, at dusk.
I can't plan for everything, so beyond those two things, you gotta improvise. The captain owes me a favour and will go along with some instructions, up to a point, but if things should go south, you're better off on your own." Looking at you, you can feel the apprehension in him. "Best of luck to you both."
Parker, as you get onto the ship, you feel like there's something in your pocket. As you run your thumbs over it, you can tell that it's a wax imprint of something.
If you have no more questions for him, he hops off the boat onto the pier and watches as you slowly glide back out into the harbour.

Murph, the pocketwatches are no match for your tools, and you quickly take apart the most dull of them. As soon as you take the casing apart and lay the clockwork bare though, you're mesmerized by the beautiful whirring of the mechanisms, the spinning of the dozens of tiny cogs, all at the impetus of the long and tightly wound spring at the bottom of the pal-sized pocket watch. Indeed, these mechanisms would do nicely!
Wanting to get some practice in before working on the other two pocket watches, you starting taken apart the mechanisms itself, analysing the structure of the supporting casing and the interplay between the different cogs, making sure to not bend or shift their axels as you break the mechanism down into its smaller parts. After a short while, you're left with the spring and a few cogs, the bare essentials for the design you have in mind. Taking the watch casing and using the rubberized wheel and the woolen fabric of the eliciter model, you start to stuff the now empty space in the watch casing with the woolen fabric, before coating the remaining spring powered cogs with a thin layer of cautchuk, to get a similar effect like the one on the wooden spinning wheel inside the elekiter. It takes a while to dry, but as you wind up the palm-sized mechanism and start it off, you quickly see the static charge build up, and as you touch the cog, you get a small jolt of the built up electricity. It worked! You take the entire stone of the telelith-prototype, and affix it to the front of the case, to test whether the charge was powerful enough to allow the use of the telelith. As soon as the stone makes contact with the cog, you can hear your excited words echoed from across the room, coming from the second stone!
