The hole closes in on Kendrick as he leaps through, and he pulls his leg through just in time! With an exasperated look at Terra, he stands and takes in the scene of...destruction? His jaw drops as he looks at the surreal scene, trying to process it somehow.
"Why yes of course I know where we are. We are... There's a perfectly scientific explanation for this... When the magical energy strands transitioned from an unknown to a physical state... that's not it... What I do know is that everything within the dome has shifted in both time and space. Some of these rooms are from now, others are from the past. That tree over there," Dain points to a small tree. "It looks just the same as when I planted it as a boy. Where we are standing, if you can call it that, seems to be a magical nothingness. There is no support from which to push to walk, but we also do not fall. The crimson path seems to have some substance to it... Look there!" Dain points to where the path is lapping at a tapestry and causing it to move. "If, perhaps, we could attract the path over here, we could travel on it."
Not sure exactly what is going on, Kendrick finally processes that they need to get to the crimson path, so he starts walking towards it. If that doesn’t work, he will try to run or jump...

"Magic, yes that may work. Try casting a spell." Dain says.
Kendrick tries to walk and run and jump, but he just stays in the same place. A punctuated vocal line with a driving bass line is heard for a second as Kendrick looks like he is walking, but doesn't move anywhere "Billie Gene is not my lover. Ohh Ah."

Bilick watches Kendrick's moves for a moment, then averts his eyes. "Fer the love of all that is holy in nature, ye have to stop, lad."
He looks embarrassed for his sailor friend, and then sighs. Shutting his eyes hard and preparing for the sharp jab of pain, Bilick pulls out his yew wand. He waves it over his club, imbuing it with Shillelagh powers.
If that doesn't work, Billick will take the magic club and swing towards the black void in front of him.
Suddenly stopping his efforts, Kendrick frowns and draws his newly sharpened longspear, waiting to see if Bilick's efforts have any effect on the crimson path.

The crimson path, in a curious manner, perks up as soon as the spell is cast. When the club is swung, the path comes over and rubs against your feet. It then forms a solid surface that you can walk on. The path leads to a study. This circular room smells of dried herbs, woodsmoke, and old paper — as well it should, with a roaring fire, stuffed bookshelves, and bunches of herbs and sticks of incense cluttering the space. Seated head to head at a circular table are a familiar elderly orc and an olive skinned human woman in her forties in elaborate blue robes, with grey streaks in her hair. Both look up at your entrance, mildly surprised.
Tsendur shows Savila some charcoal rubbings of an ornate, magical clasp. Savila is visibly uncomfortable when she recognizes the design and relates that: The item is The Clasp of Vergren. It belonged to Mesos and was stolen and hidden by Enkili as a prank. Mesos struck Enkili powerless, severing their connection to the worship of mortals in a fit of anger, which was the final straw that prompted the gods to rise up against their parents before the Titans decided to destroy them. The Clasp is said to grant the wearer the ability to replenish their magical energy (i.e. regain spell slots) by plugging into the ambient magical energy of the cosmos. It is also supposedly extremely dangerous to scry on the Clasp’s wearer.
Savila asks how Tsendur came to have the Clasp in his possession, and where he’s been hiding it. He describes the box in which he keeps it, in his home. A simple box, carved from blackwood, with double doors with onyx knobs. The interior of the box cannot be scried, dowsed for, or detected by any means while the box remains closed. Savila identifies it as Drendari’s deedbox. During the Divine War the deedbox was used by Drendari to pass messages on behalf of gods and their mortal generals. The box’s exterior is virtually indestructible. It is immune to all forms of damage and can only be destroyed if bathed in the heart’s blood of a divine being for 30 days. Once locked, the box can only be opened with the command word or the wish spell.
Tsendur thanks Savila for the information and stands to leave. When he stands, you notice that he has dropped a brass key with an elaborate, winged design. Tsendur thanks Savila then vanish, but the key remains.
Tella runs across the crimson path quite gullibly, pushing past her friends, as well as nearly tripping herself a few times that make it look as if she's tipsy.
The crimson path sets Osso's nerves tingling. He has seen magic, but not of the magnitude he is now witnessing. Seeing a chance to escape the arcane path, at least for now, he runs to the safety of the circular room. "Where go Tsendur?"he says with confusion.
Purbag's curiosity is peaked. He has also seen magic, but nothing of this scale. But he does know that it should not be trifled with. When the illusion disappears and the key remains, Purbag will walk up to the spot and examine the area around the key. He want's to make sure the only magic around it is the crimson path. If he doesn't examine anything else around the key he will pick it up.
Bilick will follow along the path slower than the others, not sure he truly trusts the path he is on. As the others go to interact with the vision/illusion or the key, he will stay behind, watching carefully to see if anything else appears, or if he can glean where the path moves next. Speaking to Dain, he says
"This is bloody odd. We know the orc. He told us he had such a conversation with yer woman here. Is this some sort o' echo? But they seemed aware of us? I dinnae like this, not one bloody square inch."
Purbag does not sense or see anything strange about the key, or it's surroundings. Everything appears to be real.
Sorry, it wasn't clear. Savila disappeared at the same time as Tsendur.
Billick perceives that his his observations are indeed correct.
"An echo," Dain says. "That's a good description of what we are seeing. Time has bees stretched and twisted so that we are seeing what happened before in front of us now. What we must do is find the present so that we can repair this damage. I do hope we find my engineering friends soon."
The crimson path has twisted and turned and is now leading to what looks like a tunnel. You hear menacing whispering voices coming from all around you. What do you do?
"So no Tsendur but yes key. No path back but yes path forward."He stands scratching his head, a bewildered look on his face. "Ok" with a shrug he gives over to not knowing what is going on. "We go down tunnel?"
Bilick is growing increasingly agitated at being in such an unnatural place. "Denev, give me, yer humble servant, strength. And protect us from whatever is comin'." He whispers in a low voice. Louder, he says to Osso, "Aye, cousin. We keep goin'. Ye all be careful, ye hear?" He will hang at the back of the group, eyes scanning everywhere, plugging his ears from the whispers as best as possible.
