Rex coughs, “Yep, definitely more than I’ve ever killed... or extorted... or beat up...” He scratches his neck, “Anyway, I’m already signed up for this whole thing, god business and all that.”
Does Rex know anything about a prophecy? There was the one that Langedrosa mentioned when I was trying to seem all cool and authority-like.

[You remember that the prophecy Langdedrosa spoke of ("And the herald of unity will proceed the rising of the Queen.") is part of a much larger (and relatively obscure) prophecy regarding an apocalyptic event. Most scholars who know of this prophecy think the "Queen" referred to is Tiamat, based largely on other portions of the prophecy that mentions the Queen being opposed by the dragon's bane. You don't remember anything about a river of gold or a castle in the sky, though.]
[Moving on to the Tower of Luck, unless there is anything else you would like to do first.]
You make your way to the Tower of Luck and find Elaim waiting for you. "Ah, there you are. Sapply should be around somewhere. I met with him briefly to explain your situation, and he feels confident he has just the thing to help you out. By the way, how did your meeting with the Watchful Order go? Hopefully they were able to resolve the issue you mentioned last night."
"They did indeed! They were able to help us take care of our situation, and were reasonably pleasant while doing so. I think if we have as much success here as we did there, we'll be off to a fantastic start to our day." Just ignoring the whole, path of blood, hardship, and death in the back of his mind.
Fjordix stood nearby, unspoken, but nonetheless his presence could be felt as he had a nervous energy about him. What did the note mean exactly, prophecies were so often too vague for Fjordix's liking. They had a soothsayer in his village, the leaders would often ask it for advise, and on rare occasion would actually be given something actionable, most of the time however it was just mumbo jumbo and twisted up words. Still, a river of gold, molten gold, but maybe gold didn't mean literal gold, though the raiders had taken treasure from Greenest. So maybe the river of gold was the road the gold was following. But then how could a road lead to a...what had the note said again, sky castle?
"Glad to hear it. Let's head inside and see if we can find Sapply."
He leads you into the Tower of Luck and starts across the foyer. When he's a little more than halfway across, one of the doors on the other end opens, and a gnome walks out. The gnome sees all of you and keeps walking toward another door while he says, "Elaim! These must be the people you spoke of earlier! Glad they're here. The name's Sapply, glad to meet you. Give me just a moment. Need to go grab an old prophecy about fire and death and all that good stuff consuming the world for a new friend of mine who just got to town. Be right back!"
A short while later, the gnome comes back with an ancient looking scroll in his hands and makes his way back toward the door he first came out of. Just like before, he keeps walking across the room while he speaks. "Let me just get this to my new friend andI'll...Hey, I wonder if this has anything to do with that cult you said you were dealing with. Didn't you say it had something to do with dragons? I haven't taken a good look at this prophecy yet, but I think it has something to do with dragons. Why don't you come in and meet my friend, and I'll show you all the prophecy at the same time! What timing you all have." He walks through the first door as soon as he finishes talking, apparently assuming you would just follow him.
"Great, more prophecy" Fjordix says under his breath, and from the sounds of it he wasn't going to like this one any more than the last. He was curious who this new friend who got to town was, why would they be interested in such a prophecy? Fjordix's face twisted into worry and he lowered his voice to speak with his companions, "...what if this new friend is a member of the cult"

Rex speaks into his mind, “I’ll just read their mind. Boom, done.”

You all follow Sapply through the doorway and find yourselve's in what looks to be some sort of meeting room. Waiting inside is a person you've not met before. His fluffy, white hair is sticking out from under the straw hat full of flowers and leaves that he is wearing. As soon as everyone is in the room, Sapply says, "Tymora is certainly smiling on us today. I just happened across this old prophecy last night, and all of you turn up today with questions that sound like they have something to do with this prophecy. I think you all can help each other out. Oh no. Where are my manners? Elaim and friends, meet my new friend, Story. Story, this is Elaim and a group of people he just told me about earlier this morning. Sorry I don't know your names, yet. If you share them with me, I'll be sure to know them when we meet again." While he's speaking, he unrolls the scroll he's been carrying and sets it down on a table.
"Well nice to be formally introduced. I am Arliden, a semi-humble bard. Nice to meet you both Sapply and Story? That is a remarkably fascinating name."
Story looks around at the new group of strangers, a mix of excitement and nervousness clear on his face and in the way he shifts back and forth on his feet, but he smiles bright and broad, looking back and forth at all the faces in the room, not sure where to start, until Arliden speaks.
“It’s awfully wonderful to meet ya' Arliden! My name is Story!… Oh wait, he already said that… Um, well I’m Eldath’s son, and one of her blessed healers. I, I think your name is intrestin’ too. It sounds nice like a bird’s name.”

Rex slightly grimaces at the stumbling sheephead and just whispers into Arliden’s mind, “Oh no.”
However, nonetheless, Rex waves a bit to Story, “Nice to meet ya, Story. Good to see a fellow man of the cloth.”
Rex, the large black Dragonborn covered in civilian leathers, looks like the opposite of a priest. He looks more like a thug frankly, but he seems well-spoken enough

Fjordix looks over the stranger with a critical eyes, his gaze stern for a few seconds before cracking a smile, "Well you don't look like trouble at all!" he shoved his hand out in a friendly gesture for Story to embrace. "Well met, I am Fjordix Anker." He waited a few moment before following it up, "What interest have you in this dusty old prophecy?"
Arlidin thinks back to Rex (knowing he can't hear him at this point but still finding it fun)..."Oh boy indeed"
"A birds name? Interesting, while I do enjoy birds and their song's I'm not sure I know any birds name," and he looks very closely at Story, "Interesting indeed."
Story’s skin is practically glowing with joy as everyone regards him so nicely. He beams as he takes Fjordix’s hand in both of his own and shakes it with vigor.
However when the prophecy is mentioned his face falls. He stares off for a moment thinking before answering. “Well all my whole life whenever I was sad or lonely or scared at night, Eldath ’d make it go away. She’d make sleep all soft and peaceful and pretty. But… recently all my dreams are nightmares. Terrible ones like I’d never seen or-or could ever even begin to imagine. What where everything is burnin’ and dyin’, all the animals and my whole forest is just ash and bone. Even the sky is on fire…” For a moment Story stops talking and just stands very still looking dazed. For a moment he looks like looks like he might tear up, but blinks it away and smiles at the group again, “Eldath wants me to help! I’ve gotta help fix the fire ‘n’ death ‘n’ all that for sure…” He looks a bit nervous and embarrassed as he goes on “But, well, I’ve never actually been anywhere or met like any people before so I wasn’t sure where to start. Someone told me there was a Tower made of Luck though so I came. And look! It really is lucky cuz Sapply’s got a prophecy and y'all are here too!”
Fjordix's smile turned downward into a stern face once more, from soft, peaceful, and pretty sleeping to fighting the fire in the sky, how could this Story possibly assist? He looked him up and down again, obviously judging his potential. "How is it you intend to fix the fire in sky Story?"

(“dragons bane”)
Rex just slowly side eyes his companion who is covered in dragon slaying tattoos.
“But yeah, never heard anything like that.”
