That's great . I might do that once this boxing event is over, unless I decide to do it again. Hopefully I win tomorrow . If I do that's 200 extra gold I'll have . Yes the recent events were horrible. I hope nothing like that happens again.
Three old geezers sat around a table for four. They won't let anyone take the empty fourth stool. They never seem to order food but the drinks arrive at a steady rate. Always four. One each, and one in front of the empty stool.
Well met Yevis. Join us please. I'm not certain wether or not I've introduced you to my friend and bussiness partner or not but this is Cloud . Cloud this is Yevis
Yevis takes a seat "Nice to meet you Cloud. I'm fine today, I just got back from helping out a new friend." turns to Arthur "Miss Grinda is all fixed up now, she's already back out under the water looking for junk."
That's great ! How bad was the damage? That was one nasty shark. I'm no nature expert but I wonder why that thing attacked us, assuming it was hungry ofcourse. I just wouldn't think a shark would find metal to be something that would please it's appetite .
Yevis "Well it was damaged pretty good (half hp), but between Grinda and my tinkering skills we got it repaired. I don't know what was up with that shark, I didn't know it could make the sounds that it did."
Arthur leans to Yevis's ear , and in a lowered voice tells him
"The gnome was named Dalakhar, he said he worked for the Open Lord of Waterdeep. Though I believe he meant Lord Neverember, who is up in Neverwinter now. He said he was on the way to the group of adventurers that rescued Lord Neverember's son Ranaer. He was hoping they would keep the Stone of Galor safe while he eluded pursuit from the Xanathar Guild, who he claims he stole it from."
"The two cloaked humans in armor were apparently Zhentarim, the snake tattoos gave them away. Their job was to catch Dalakhar, along with someone named Urstul Floxin. The said the gnome had an artifact that would make them all rich."
Yevis "Lord Dagault Neverember? They replaced him years ago. He's up in Neverwinter now, been working on ruling there for a long time according to rumors. I think they made him king or something."
"I hear his son Ranaer still lives here. Strange that he wouldn't move there too. I thought kings and their heirs was some important thing, or something like that. But why wouldn't this Dalakhar guy just give this Stone thing to Ranaer?"
"Do you think this Stone is the artifact they are after? Intrigue, artifacts, and riches? Isn't that what you all in Acquisitions Incorporated are all about?"
Hi Arthur, all is going well, despite recent events...I've made a couple new contacts in hopes of snagging some useful information for us.

Whilst in mid conversation with Cloud, Arthur is eating his meal and observing the work place in general

Very odd. I'm guessing they must have a seat empty because they are missing a old friend that must have passed away
Yevis pops in while you're in the Tavern. "Greetings, Lord Darkeyes. Mind if I sit with y'all for an ale?"
Well met Yevis. Join us please. I'm not certain wether or not I've introduced you to my friend and bussiness partner or not but this is Cloud . Cloud this is Yevis
Observes the old geezers long enough to remember faces before turning back to Arthur and Yevis. Hi Yevis, nice to meet you. How are you today?
To Arthur: Well wishes on your boxing match tomorrow!
Thank you Cloud . I must admit it has been nice to have a quiet day for once . It's like resting without resting if that makes sense
Yevis takes a seat "Nice to meet you Cloud. I'm fine today, I just got back from helping out a new friend." turns to Arthur "Miss Grinda is all fixed up now, she's already back out under the water looking for junk."

We all need a quiet day every once in a while....especially after...a shark?? oh my!
Yevis "Well it was damaged pretty good (half hp), but between Grinda and my tinkering skills we got it repaired. I don't know what was up with that shark, I didn't know it could make the sounds that it did."
I wasn't aware sharks could ....for a lack of better terms....growl under water , then again as I stated earlier I'm no nature expert
Ooc - nobody there had the relevant skills to find out.
Yevis - "But that shark was nothing compared to events here. What the hell happened here yesterday? Did you ever find out?"
Arthur leans to Yevis's ear , and in a lowered voice tells him

Ooc: it was easier to copy / paste as opposed to constantly going back to the clues link to check my facts

Ooc - a lil bit of lore dump that was either missed from the beginning, or due to being from out of town.
