You've been on the trail for another hour and a half and some of your stomachs are starting to rumble when you follow the goblin's trail to a large clearing. You see a cave in the hillside at the other end of the clearing. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand side of the stream.
In a low voice, so that only the goblin and those immediately around her can hear, Helgrid says "Is this it? Is this where your pack hides? Last chance to let us know about any traps up ahead, you despicable creature." Intimidation: 9
Helgrid won't release the creature or undo the gag, but she'll watch him very carefully to see if he communicates any kind of affirmative to her answers. If so, she'll try and hiss a whispered warning at Org - "Take care, I think this could be where his filthy clan lives. There are probably traps everywhere."
If we all begin advancing toward the cave mouth, Helgrid will knock the goblin unconscious, make sure it's securely bound (hands, feet, and mouth), and dump it in the bushes at A6.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Baeshra will move forward, dropping the remnants of his meal of goblin, "Such pretty clear water and beautiful scenery!" And he'll begin to stealth around to the other side of the river, keeping an eye out for trouble.

Org, you see a lot of tracks going in and out of the right side of the cave. The only thing you can hear is the wind blowing the branches of the thickets and the burbling stream. But you can smell lots of goblins, and a faint trace of...you sniff again, there it is...wolves!
Helgrid, the goblin prisoner just nods pitifully, and then slumps to the ground as you knock it unconcious.
Gialine, although it is approaching evening, the sun is still giving off a lot of light, making it hard to see inside the dark cave.
As you all begin to move forward towards the cave entrance, you notice that the briars are very thick, they are Difficult Terrain. They will also provide half cover from any ranged attacks, however.
As you move up to the creek you can see that it only 1-2 feet deep, easily fordable.
Those of you who get closer to the rock face and those of you looking out across the creek suddenly see movement in the thickets, more goblins!
Back to initiative, neither side is surprised, although Baeshra and Gialine, the goblins do not know you are there yet.
G1 squeals and shoots his shortbow at Org: Attack12. The arrow gets caught up in the thicket. G1 races off towards the mouth of the cave. G2 takes a shot at Tildenn: Attack17. Critical fail! 2, in his haste he knocks all the arrows out of his quiver! G2 then scurries up to the rock face and flattens himself against it. G3 watches G2 with disgust, then says "Let me show you how to do it!" and takes a shot at Tildenn: Attack10. The pep talked worked because the arrow flies straight and true, thudding into Tildenn's armor and doing: 6 damage. G3 smirks and then tries to hide in the thicket: 20. G4 takes a shot at Org: Attack9. He must have watched G3, because G4's arrow flies even truer and gets Org in the neck for 8 piercing damage. G4 then dashes back to the thicket and tries to hide: 20.
OK, the rest of the party is up. Post your Round 1 actions. If the goblins Hide rolls are higher than your Passive Perception, you can't see them. You can use your action to make a Perception check in order to find them, or attack where you think they might be at disadvantage. In this case, all of you know where G3 is, or will be able to see him when you get around the thickets and get line of sight, but only Baeshra can see G4.
Seeing the solid shot from G4, Baeshra will stalk forward (K4) and snarl in draconic activating the magic in his club as he swings from the shadows. (Passive Perception is 16)

(Ooc: Yay for terrible rolls.)
Which goblin are you attacking? Remember, the thickets are Difficult Terrain, I don't see how you can get to K4 with 30' of movement.
Lyngheid charges into the fray( move to I5) and swings her mace at the goblin to her right (G3)
Attack: 8 Damage: 4
Did you drop Candy's rope or is she coming with you? Candy is a trained pack mule. Like the oxen, if you drop the rope or reins, they will chill where you left them, just grazing. They will only run if danger approaches.

Helgrid drops the goblin, raises her warhammer, and charges over to the mouth of the cave (square G7). (OOC: I didn't see a hide roll for G1, so I assume I can see him?) Helgrid tries to stop the creature dead in its tracks before it can warn his fellows - emphasis on 'dead.' Attack: 19 Damage: 11

Forgot difficult terrain, I guess just move to J3 and miss an attack on G3.
Org grunts and his eyes widen as he is hit. A little fear grips him as he realizes how close to death he really is. Knowing that if the alarm is sounded certain death comes he moves to G1 and Strikes with his Great club.
Lyngheid stomps through the creek, mace held high over her head only to miss in her attack on G3, who realizes he is not as hidden as he thought.
Tildenn tries his lock at G2 who got it's shield up just in time to deflect the staff attack.
Helgrid, realizing the immediate danger rushes up to G1 to stop him before he can bring reinforcements. Her warhammer crashes into the goblins head and splatters it against the rock wall.
Baeshra bashes through the brambles and swings his magic club at G3 who manages to duck beneath the blow.
Org also realizes the danger of G1 warning others in the cave and tries to stop him, but still reeling from the arrow he took, his attack sputters out.

Org's no Scout but he will look around and then sniff the air a bit to see if he sees, hears or smells anything.
