You don't see any reinforcements coming. But you do see just inside the cave mouth, a few uneven stone steps lead up to a small, dank chamber on the east side of the passage. The area is filled with the stench of animals, and you hear savage snarls and rattling chains.
Org will move away from the entrance and try to do something about the arrow sticking out of him, taking the hemp of his shirt and tearing it off to make a make shift bandage.
Helgrid will toss the bodies of the slain goblins into a small pile behind a thicket, out of immediate view. While she's doing that, she'll approach Lyngheid and say "Auntie, is there anything that can be done for Org? He fought bravely, but I'll wager there are more of the little blighters inside, and I'd hate to lose a warrior such as he in those depths. Sadly, I'm not yet attuned enough to the Forge Father's light to render any more aid before I sleep."

Gialine eyes up Org's wound and watches the blood trickle down his body with fascination. "It would be best to burn the goblin remains too incase the smell attracts any hungry beast." She rummages through her pack, produces a ration and shares with Org whilst keeping an eye on the cave entrance.
OOC: Gialine does not need a short rest so she can remain on sentry duties and help move the corpses for disposal.
Alright, you all manage to pile and burn the bodies. You find a good spot to sit and rest while keeping an eye on the dark mouth of the cave. Nothing comes out during the hour of your short rest.
The goblin prisoner looks like it will be out cold for a long while yet. What do you want to do with Candy the Mule and the prisoner?
Towards the end of the rest, Baeshra will ritually cast speak with animals and look for any small animals he can persuade to go in and scout for them, small rodent or bird, whatever he can find, using a piece of goblin flesh as an offering.

"Well, our captive is bound and gagged, and I gave him a good thump on the head, so he should be out for another couple of hours. We can probably tie the mule's lead to a tree before we go in. This is the goblin lair, so it's reasonable to assume they've brought Gundrun through here. All the same, we should be on our guard." Helgrid will approach the cave mouth, wrinkling her nose at the smell, and attempt to peer in.

Baeshra, you have to walk quite a ways away from the stench of the burning goblins, but you manage to find a gray squirrel with a bushy tail sitting about 10 feet up in a tree.
Helgrid, you sense the same things from the cave mouth as Org and Baeshra. But your delicate ears and nose are able to pick up a few more clues and you estimate there to be at least 4 different canine creatures in there.
