Baeshra AoO: Attack: 16 Damage: 10 

On his turn, Baeshra will wait where he is, preparing an attack if the spectre returns down.

Lyngheid walked up and hugged Whistler.

Cure Wounds: 21

On his turn, Umbriel will head out of the little room and look above the roof of the building. If he sees the ghost, he'll send another Eldritch Blast his way. Attack: 9 Damage: 11

 Whistler makes his Con Save and avoids the worst of the attacks.  His AoO lands and does quite a bit of damage.

Nyx takes a couple of steps back and prepares another Hand Crossbow attack if the thing appears.

Whistler prepares an Attack if the thing appears.

Baeshra's Attack Of Opportunity lands as well, and then he readies an attack if the thing appears.

Lyngheid Heals Whistler for 14 Hit Points.

Ireniana's Attack of Opportunity hits, and then she prepares an attack.

Owlbear stays in the corner.

Umbriel runs out of the room and tries to look at the roof.  He can only get far enough away to see about 5 feet onto the Roof, and doesn't see the creature, but he readies an attack just in case.

Droop squeals and readies a bow shot.

Rosie steps back and makes a Perception check to look for the beast: 24.  She sees it on top of the roof, and shouts "It's on the roof.  Oh, no wait, it's coming this way!  It's attacking Umbriel!"

The creature descends onto Umbriel and attacks: 12 but Umbriel is able to dodge it's outstretched arms.  It then races away and Rosie shouts "It's going back to the poison mushroom cave!"

Summary:
- Nyx's held shot goes off.
- Umbriel gets an Attack of Opportunity as it flies away.

The party is up for Round 3.  Thanks to Rosie's directions, you all know where it went and it is visible in the glowing fungi cavern.

On hearing Rosie yell that the spectre is attacking Umbriel, Nyx spins and fires off a bolt at it.

OCC:

Hand Crossbow Attack: 6 Damage: 9

Sneak Attack if applicable 4

Nyx's readied Round 2 attack goes off and the bolt flies into the apparation.  Doing some damage to it, but not as much as you would have thought.

Lyngheid moves out of the door, her rings trailing behind, but she knows neither she nor her emanation is fast enough to help.

"How are we meant to attack mist! Is that thing some kind of maddness born from Cyric's evil thoughts... "

Umbriel will throw his (semi) trusty Eldritch Blast as his Attack of Opportunity on the fleeing ghost: Attack: 13 Damage: 8

For his round three action, he'll run up to the edge of the mush-room and fire again: Attack: 14 Damage: 5

FYI: It misses, but AoO is a melee attack unless you have the War Caster feat.

(ah, okay - will remember that for next time, sorry!) 

Whistler turns to the Owlbear, "*HOOT* If ghost behind Whistler!" He moves into the mushroom cave.

Baeshra will dash over to the creature and use Hungry Jaws to bite it.

Attack: 17 Damage: 8

Ireniana will continue to hold her attack during her turn. 

Whistler and Baeshra rush after the fleeing Wraith and manage to get to it, right before they would have to make a Con Save.  Umbriel comes in behind them just as Baeshra's Hungry Jaws latch onto the swirling mist and the magic from his new tattoo courses through his teeth, finishing off the evil creature.

OOC: (He had 10 HP left, nice roll!)

What does the party do now?

Baeshra will quickly drag any remains away from the fungal cave to rejoin the others.

Umbriel nods with satisfaction when the spirit is dissipated. "There are better ways to transcend death. Now, to the immediate issue - preparation for what lies ahead." He will then go back into the room, and try the doors to the south of the chamber. "Nyx, if you wouldn't mind inspecting that chest at the foot of the bed?"

The doors open up, and it appears to be a closet.  There are hangers and old tattered robes and cloaks.

Nyx, Perception check to look for locks and traps on the scorched chest.

What's everyone else doing while Umbriel is looking through the closet and Nyx is examining the chest?

Baeshra will enter the room, and still in dinoshape, try and take a short rest, assuming there are no interruptions.

Nyx gives a nod and heads over to the chest. She gently starts to inspect the chest as well as its lock for any kind of traps before attempting to open it.
