Umbriel begins his arcane motions and nods to Lyngheid and Baeshra, who together manage to burn the incense. It doesn't burn in a traditional sense, but it is consumed by the heat and magical flame, enough so that the spell works.
The body of Queen Neri shifts as her eyes open and her lungs fill with water as the spell takes hold and she prepares to answer Umbriel's questions.
Uthor stands behind and above Umbriel. "It appears to be working, go on."
Umbriel nods, and softens his voice to a deferential tone, then begins.
(going to ask all the questions here at once, but Umbriel is waiting for responses between each question)
"Your Majesty, I am an ally of Princess Serissa's, and I am here with her companion Uthor. We have some questions to ask that we hope you can help us with.
- Did you find out where King Hekaton is?
- Did you know Iymrith was a dragon?
- Who killed you?
- Are your killers the ones who kidnapped King Hekaton?
As the spell expires, Umbriel turns and relays what was said to all present (if they didn't hear it).
"Well, if nothing else, we learned that a band of mostly humans kidnapped King Heaton and killed the Queen, and that we cannot trust Nym and Merrim. Thank you for your help, Uthor - I know it couldn't have been easy."
Lyngheid moved up and asked the Silver Mother to watch over this Mother, she smiled a little at the thought of what her Goddesses Husband might have to say about things...
Uthor nods solemnly, wraps her face back up, and puts the sarcophagus top back on, then leads you all back to Princess Serissa, who takes you back to the throne room to hear the results.
Once explained, Serissa thinks in silence for a moment or two before continuing.
"Thank you all for your help, and for your care with my mother's body." She reaches into a pouch and removes a wooden coin that she hands to you. "This was found next to my mother when her body was discovered. I believe that it belongs to the group who killed her. If you can find where this coin came from and what it represents, I think we'll be one step closer to finding my Father."
"You still have your Conch that brought you here, right?"
"I'll teleport you back to the mainland, or wherever else you wish to start the investigation of this coin. Once you find out more info, use the Conch to return here. I suggest you leave now, while Uthor and I deal with my sisters."
Baeshra picks up the coin for a moment, "I might be able to use this as a focus to try and [Tooltip Not Found] on where it came from. It would have to wait until tomorrow and it might not work any better than the one on your father, but worth trying? As for where to go from here, Waterdeep or Neverwinter? Those places are near the coast and full of people, and people like to talk, we might be able to find out something there."
"I'd be inclined to travel to Neverwinter, personally." Umbriel suggests.
Princess Serissa nods in agreement: "Neverwinter would be a good place to start. Follow me, please." And she leads you down the passageway behind the thrones to a large cavern off to the side of the hallway. More bioluminescent lichen, coral, snails and starfish cling to it's damp walls.
The Princess continues: "I'll need a short rest to attune to the cave, and then I can teleport you from here."
Lyngheid, you take a little time to look over the coin while Princess Serissa attunes to the cave. It's made out of a hardwood, but seems fairly unremarkable and easy to produce. You don't know where it came from, but you do recognize that it is probably a gambling chip.
Does anyone want to do anything while the Princess has a short rest?
After she has attuned, Princess Serissa stands up: "That should do it, ready for Neverwinter?"
She mutters the magical incantation and ushers you all through the slot that opens up with a final thought: "Thank you, and be careful."
With that, you find yourselves on the shoreline near Neverwinter. It doesn't take you long to walk into the city.
You can find a place to stay, you can inspect the coin some more, you can shop for supplies.
To find the origins of the wooden coin, I'll need one person to make an Investigation check. This check will represent the efforts of the group making inquiries at gambling houses and festhalls, bribing local guilds for information, etc after 1d4+1 days. Each day will cost 10 gold for bribes, buying drinks to loosen lips, etc.
Who wants to make the Investigation check for this? Someone else roll 1d4+1 to see how many days were spent with the investigation.
Baeshra will cover the cost out of party budget. He'll also take another, not very optimistic, look for a moon sickle.
Investigation: 19 (People, animals, plants, Baeshra can find those. Stuff is hard, lol)
He'll also be looking for a crystal ball worth 1000gp, and on the second day, if he can find one, try using the chip to scry on its place of manufacture.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Umbriel will stick with Droop, and suggests they go looking for a book seller that might have poetry books.
(Investigation for books: 17)
If he finds one, he'll buy it and find a moment alone with Lyngheid. "Here, give this to her. She's more of a lyrical soul, this might help you in your quest," he says with a small but genuine smile.

Lyngheid turned a vibrant purple beneath her bronze skin, " Umbriel. I suppose I can cross subtle off of my strong skills list....."
" Thankyou."
Lyngheid didn't think she was going to be of much use, she'd never been to this city before and gambling wasn't something she'd ever indulged in.
You thoroughly exhaust all potential leads for a moon sickle and are convinced that there is not one in the city. You are able to find a crystal ball worth 1000gp, do you buy it? And your attempt to scry on the coin's place of manufacture fails. You don't see anything with the spell.
Umbriel:
You are able to find a vast poetry section and have your choice of poetry books.
