Over the two days spent investigating, you all manage to find some good leads, but they all end up at dead ends!
Baeshra, subtract 20 gold from the party funds.
Everyone subtract 2 gold each for room and lodging for the stay so far.
You can continue your investigation here in Neverwinter, as only two days wasn't enough to exhaust the large city of information. Or you can decide to venture to another city and search for info on the wooden coin's origins.
If you are staying here, someone roll another 1d4+1, and someone else roll another Investigation check.
Umbriel is still very much an outsider in this realm, and his investigative skills are not as robust as they could be. He'll spend the four days assisting as he can, and looking for magic items and armor for Droop.
Baeshra does purchase the crystal and starts looking for an object with the image of a dragon engraved on it, worth at least 500 gp as well as some diamond dust. (Need to read my spell component lists better, sigh...)

With Umbriel's help, Droop finds 3 magic arrows and eagerly buys them!

In the same magic shop as the crystal, you find a saucer made out of platinum and inlaid with gold. The center has a dragon engraved on it, and it is on sale for 750 gold. There is also diamond dust, as much as you want, up to 500 gold worth.
Nyx is very persuasive and manages to get the dragon embossed platter for 700 gold instead of 750 gold. No change on the diamond dust cost though.
So that leaves someone to head up the Investigation check that summarizes the next 4 days worth of searching. Nyx can do it again, but without advantage since she has used all of her Thieves Cant contacts.

Thank you! And go for it Nyx, you're our designated people person, lol
Woops! Baeshra, subtract another 40 gold from the party funds, and everyone spend another 4 gold for room and board.
What's the plan now, more searching in Neverwinter, or journey to a new city or town? The DC in Neverwinter is now a little higher since you've exhausted a lot of potential leads. But, it's a big city, so you could still find the answers.
" We could head to Luskan? Lots of trade there....could be gambling as well? Or Waterdeep.", Lyngheid shrugged...not really knowing much about how human dominated citys worked.
She leaves a chapbook of Sylvan Nature Poems under Nyxs pillow on the last day.
"Either Waterdeep or Luskan sounds good to me," Umbriel says. "We should also reconnect with our friends in the airship. That would make travel a bit easier."
"Oh, I'm certain that they're using us, which makes it more acceptable to utilize their airship - because we know they have ulterior motives. I seek not to align with either the dragons or the giants in this case, only in protecting the innocents that would be caught in the middle of such a struggle. As long as we harbor no illusions about the cults ultimate plans, I think we can continue our association for the time being - but of course, I'm open to discussion."

Alright, who wants to make the investigation roll for the next 4 days of investigating?
Umbriel is still very much an outsider in this realm, and his investigative skills are not as robust as they could be. He'll spend the four days assisting as he can, and looking for magic items and armor for Droop.
Baeshra does purchase the crystal and starts looking for an object with the image of a dragon engraved on it, worth at least 500 gp as well as some diamond dust. (Need to read my spell component lists better, sigh...)

As haggling isn't really part of his training, Baeshra purchases the lot at full price.
OCC: Nyx is happy to haggle if you take her.

Hopefully a better role this time!

Probably time to head to Waterdeep.
" We could head to Luskan? Lots of trade there....could be gambling as well? Or Waterdeep.", Lyngheid shrugged...not really knowing much about how human dominated citys worked.

" About them.....", Lyngheid mused. " Are the weird scary cultists really our friends? Or are we just handy for their boss?"
I had to look it up: Deselphine and the Airship will be waiting for you in Everlund.
"Oh, I'm certain that they're using us, which makes it more acceptable to utilize their airship - because we know they have ulterior motives. I seek not to align with either the dragons or the giants in this case, only in protecting the innocents that would be caught in the middle of such a struggle. <While the discussion continues>
It's about 120 miles or 5 days journey on the High Road from Neverwinter to Luskan. With the option to stop at Port Llast on the second day.
Is that the plan?
If so, stock up on supplies if needed, and then I'll need someone to roll a d20 for the first day.
