Hastings wipes the dust off of himself, gazing toward the knight's remain. "If we find the weapons from that thing we should make sure to have them destroyed as well..."
Hrothgar greets Aden and puts a hand on his shoulder while taking the sun blade. Im glad to see your all in one piece. We could not of done this without you.
He puts on a smile to lift their spirits and move their minds to celebration. The victory today was hard fought but the evil has been drivin out.
Come, we should make sure the captives are doing well. And tend to all our wounds.
Hrothgar will walk up the stairs further to see how the captives are doing out of their prison.
(@dm, i assume Aden has returned my Griffon statue? If not Hrothgar would search for it.)
After ensuring that his team and the others nearby are in reasonably good shape, Zogar returns to the courtyard to setup a medical station for the injured.
You slowly make your way back up the stairs and out into the open area in front of the Fort. Edward had picked up the bronze griffin statue and greets you with it. "Thank you for all your help my friend, here, you don't want to lose this."
Zogar is joined at his medical station by Nevkulm, Yuriel and Selga who help him tend to the wounded, ensuring that everyone is in good health before escorting them to their various homes in the towns nearby. Their families are overjoyed as they return and most accept the news of their loved ones deaths with heavy hearts, but are thankful their souls were freed to pass on to the gods they worship.
After spending the rest of the day returning folks to their homes, everyone from all three parties settle down for a night of rest. Waking the next morning, you ensure you have provisions for the ride back to Suzail and set out early. Roughly a day and a half of riding in mostly silence you arrive at the castle stables and are greeted by the workers who take your horses to be fed and brushed down while you are escorted to the king and queen.
After an intense debriefing with the king, queen and several key members of the kings court, the king and queen stand up and bow to you all in honor of what you have done for the realm. The royal treasurer gives each of you a formal document that entitles each of you 5000 gold and a deed to a decently sized plot of land around the lands of Cormyr. After which, a feast is thrown in your honor.
(OOC: Thank you all for being part of my game, I hope to do it again when time permits)
