As hot puffs of air and smoke emanate from the creature Beowulf raises his arms to protect his face from the fire. When lowering them again the wasp had already launched an attack leaving Beowulf without time to react catching him off guard as one of the sharp front legs of the creature pierces Beowulfs shoulder. He winces as the sensation of pain shoots through his body.
Acting on his instincts he goes back to his fighting stance and swings his right sword diagonally from the right top of the creature across its body trying to find a weak spot.
Sword attack: Attack: 22 Damage: 10
He turns his body back to strike another time with his left sword (BA) trying to hit the creature in its side.
Offhand Sword attack: Attack: 13 Damage: 6
(btw i see you used disadvantage on attacks. I think the only source could be my menacing attack from last turn. Would Beowulf notice any hesitation or fear in the creature?)
((I know MAC has this as a reaction. Deflect Attack. The defender imposes disadvantage on the attack roll of one creature it can see that is within 5 feet of it, provided the attack roll is against a creature other than the defender. Maybe it was that? idk))
Action: Crossbow Attack: 13 Damage (Piercing): 8
Bonus Action: Order Mac to use Force Empowered Rend: Attack: 18 Damage (Force): 10
Mac Reaction: Use Deflect Attack: The defender imposes disadvantage on the attack roll of one creature it can see that is within 5 feet of it, provided the attack roll is against a creature other than the defender.
Ambre Lines up another Crossbow shot, ordering Mac to attack the monster.
The Warforged, devoid of any reason to advance further and waste valuable time, stays within cover to nock another arrow, releasing once more toward the imposing wasp while clearing himself away from it in atleast 70 feet of distance from him and the wasp.
Movement: his full 30 feet of movement is used to run going away from the wasp, continuing to use the tree-line to his advantage for a defensible archer's position.
Action: He steadies his aim and crouches briefly to line his sight toward the wasp's head, releasing the nocked elven-arrow upon the creature's fated demise soon to come.
You can choose one creature you have seen in the past minute and fire an arrow that flies toward that creature, moving around corners and ignoring three-quarters cover and half cover. If the target is in range and a path is available, it must make a DEX saving throw (DC 11) or take damage from the arrow plus 5 force damage and you learn the target's location (half damage and location is unrevealed on success).
Fletcher focuses for a moment on his cocked shot, and bright vines cover the arrow as it begins to move on its own, rapidly toward the wasp in unnatural movements.

No he wouldn't the creature is rather alien to him.
The Warforged returns out of cover, picking up the arrow that had missed the creature and stowing it into the quiver. His posture seems to be slacked, and an eery feeling of disappointment in his lack of usefulness in combat emanates from his expressionless shield-shaped face. His body shudders in revulsion for his unexpected disuse of his skill, and silently contemplates if he is still worth to the party's composition.
He allows himself a moment of silence, before standing up once more, having sheathed the longbow. His orb-formed blue-green tinted eyes face his party, without sound or emotion, as he begins to try and allow a sense of perception to be met in his mind palace; lacking his directive, he tries to do what he can to keep a good eye among his companions.
Unfortunate for his position, he decides not to actively search as his senses are dulled, and sits flatly on the floor, silently disappointed at himself while his expressionless face and body posture does not give way to his vices.
Ambre doesn't find any markings on the wasps body.
Arcana roll please DC 16:
The creature is not from this plane. A shiver courses through your spine. You really and fervently hope that someone has not been fool enough to deal with the daelkyr
The daelkyr are the lords of madness and the emissaries of Xoriat, who invaded Eberron with a host of mind flayers, beholders, and other foul aberrations. Wherever they walked, the daelkyr reshaped the world in their image, sowing madness and creating monsters.
The hot piece of amber does cool down finaly. Seems it was linked to the creature in some way. It wasn't in any kind of direction though.
Walben looks up from his ministrations with Beowulf to Fletcher’s activities.
”What are you thinking, Fletcher? If you need help, my aid is yours.”
(take a help action to swing those checks with advantage)
Fletcher stands from his visual stump of disappointment, turning to Walben, "I am thankful for your aid. I am trying to keep a close eye around our companions to be certain another surprise such as the wasp being able to creep through our visual periphery leading to Beowulf's injury can be avoided. It seems as though the lack of a general directive for my thought has left me in a dissatisfaction, but I will continue once more," a sense of determination from his otherwise expressionless cold-leafy-breeze of a voice and his facial expression could be interpeted, returning his position to gaze around his companions' peripheral vision to compensate their focus.

Thom and Beowulf continue hacking the creature.
Fletchers arrow flies ( Save 13 ) but doesn't strike the creature.
Amber's attack misses but MAC rends a large chunk of flesh from the wasp, lava blood pooling at its feet.
As the insect moves to strike once more Fizz blast of lightning ends its life.
The silence around you is deafening.
Ambre approaches the beast in haste, looking for more of the same symbols that were on the queen's body.

"Possibly," Ambre says, still inspecting the wasp, "but it also could have just been late to the party when whoever was here left."

Walben looks around. “Anyone hurt?”
Paladin - warforged - orange
Beowulf shifts back to his normal self and holds his shoulder for a moment. Only a minor wound Walben, thank you for your concern.
It was my own fault, i drew the creatures attention. I should of stayed behind Thom's shield.
He looks to the ground a moment.
Sometimes it is difficult for me, i do not think of my actions i just do. It is my instinct that takes over at times, i cannot help it.
Beowulf then just watches the others inspect the creature for markings.
“Minor wounds are wounds enough.”
Walben applies a poultice if some kind to Beowulf’s injury, but it’s just an excuse to cover the spell he casts, healing word 7

Fletcher, with some help from Walben takes a sentry pose. He looks around making sure that no more surprises will befall them.
For now the area is clear.
