During their entire walk back to the ship, Fletcher is at unease. It is unnatural to see the Warforged be skittish with his longbow, though it happened occasionally as he kept an eye staying atleast a few feet away, distancing himself to perceive unnatural and natural threars altogether to him.
Arriving back to the ship, Fletcher's borrowed longbow can be seen sheathed, and he faces the new men and women among their crew with respect, forcing himself not to be formal given the circunstances. Either way, his cold-breeze of a tone speaks out,"It cannot be without my need to mention the honor to be welcoming new comrades to our crew; welcome aboard, if the term is correct," he says, no expression through vocal or physical means. He turns toward Gino and his companions to whisper in a quieter sound of rumbling thunder hears through metal, "Assuming Ambre's notion of Daelkyr influence is true, we must be on alert. I will be wandering the village to find Lener Jost and ask for a map I may construct of the coast; it will aid the party's efforts to find Tren, if we pursue him next," he speaks decisively, vocalizing his ideas with no filter as none are needed.
Completing his minor speech, Fletcher strides toward each of his companions' cabins, nestling the potions of healing on his thick-arms, handing each one he clearly remembers of which to be from the room it was place in. Finally, he takes his own potion after everyone has taken theirs, and walks off of the ship to head to the village. There, he asks of the locals for Lener Jost's whereabouts, and if successful, he will take the opportunity to ask him for a detailed and/or rough explanation of the village's surroundings, specifically the locations Tren had reported to pass through.
Ambre takes the amber piece to her room, intending to study it when she has more time. "The village might have more issues than giant killer bees," she says to Gino. She explains what she discovered to him.

Does the ship have an insignia? If so on our way back to the ship I would like to stop in town and get some fabric that matches the colors of the insignia, and some paints, again that match the insignia. I would ask some people on the streets where I could find it, or look for a shopping center. And a sewing kit

Add 1 if you want it to be a char. check to ask for it, or subtract 1 if you want it to be an investigation check for me to look for it.

I wrote back thinking you were going to the ship first. But you can find those things in town no problem.
Gino seems taken by the information Amber gives him and it is obvious it is not something he thought you might find here.
"This is very important news." he says " I ll talk to the captain about it but we are to leave in a few days. Not sure if once we are done with our business we might not need to come back here and see what 's going on here."
In town.
Lener is easy to find in town. He is happy with your findings more so because he knows that the wasps are gone but intrigued by the fact that there might be more going on than previously thought. He does ask Fletcher to keep the information to himself for now. No need to scare.people.

Sorry about that, and thank you.
Thom is going to take some time to cut the fabric, and stitch it together to try and make the ship's insignia, then stitch it onto his Tabard. He would also like to paint it onto his shield. It does not have to be perfect, in fact I think there should be a somewhat noticeable flaw on each of them, not the same flaw, but something that some of the crew, and party might notice, but not most others. (This is preemtive for when the ship gets moving again)
The Warforged stands idly to await Lener to complete his sentence, already sifting through his mind palace to restrict the information of the Daelkyr involvement to the Crimson Blade, his companions, and Lener. It takes a good moment for Fletcher to reply, though the thought eventually crosses him as he finally speaks, "Agreeable, but I have a request. Is there a map of the marshes to the North, including one of this area's sea side? It need not to be detailed, or even a map itself, a rough explanation or draft will be enough for me. I leave no reasoning for why, but I am fond of mapping locations, is all," Fletcher catches his words inbetween sentence, realizing to not disclose of the proper reasoning behind his intention. He shows no malice or any negative emotion as he speaks, complying with his usual tone to carry his explanation forth.
While this goes, Fletcher's plantation sprawls about his body, though its growth has gone to a halt for quite some time. Though, some traces of water can still be barely visible on the vines, and even his integrated scale-mail. An obvious explanation would be rain, althought it probably has not rained for some time. Either way, his arms are idling by at his side, and his longbow properly unstrung on the bow-sheathe seeing as battle most likely will not happen anytime soon in the village, nor does he need to be cautious in his own reasoning.
Ambre nods, "I'll let you do that then. Once we're done in the town I'm going to spend some time researching that amber piece we found, see if it gives us any clues." With a polite farewell, Ambre leaves to join the others in the village.

Can Walben do a check about how odd these things are? Both are sorta weirder than usual.

[ What Walben notices:]
There is no malice through his words, though you can tell that he is trying to be discreet. Of what exactly? By his requests, it seem to be for directions on where Tren went. It looks as though the Warforged is planning ahead on the party's next objective to follow through, without consulting his companions. Rather odd, but it seems as though he wishes not to bother everyone.
Ambre's just looking for how it was made. Or at the very least an idea that would start her on the right track.
The ambre is not from this plane of existence. You have heard of shards of crystal that can power trains or even flying boats. And they have become more common but nothing like this. This feels much more biological for some reason.
Ambre doesn't say anything about the biological amber in the moment, jotting down everything that she learned and going to join the rest of the party in the village.
At the village the people ask a few questions about the wasps and the nests. They are surprised that you have come so soon but are grateful to you for clearing up this mess.
Of Tren for the most part they are worried but since it has no direct effect on their safety they can wait.
Lener answers Fletcher or any others that come and see him about Tren. He thanks the group for the quick success with the wasps.
" I don't have map and there is no real path leading that way but the cove with the traders is about a day away. A full day at least if you know the path and if your are lucky, about two if you have to stop. Tren follows the coast southeast of the village and crosses the swamp where he can. It has a habit of changing from one rain fall to the other. Only predator we know from there are a few large crocodiles but Tren would know how to avoid those."
" He is our liaison with the hobgoblin kingdom to the south. They trade with us but because there is tension between our countries we try to be discreet." He smiles. " This is not a crime in any way but we don't want some government official coming to us and telling us we can't by food from neighbors for some political reason."
" Tren is a half orc and was once a warrior in the Droam army, an officer even, so he is the perfect person to talk to them."

I guess I've been hanging out with Ambre and will help anyway he can if she would bounce a few thoughts off of him
