Tulgi looks Sanjay over.  Obviously exhausted, she gruffly replies "Clearly I have the same problem Urgon did.  I just want a cure."

Sanjay nods in understanding, "That's reasonable. Where all have you gone in the last couple of weeks? "

Tulgi raises her eyebrow at you, clearly suspicious of your questioning.

"We're sorry ma'am, we truly hope only for answers to help us find the cure, that's the whole reason we're here," Salem smiled at the lady, hoping to reassure her, "If you could just give us the answers we need we would be most deeply appreciative of your compliance."

Even though Tulgi didn't like the word "compliance", she can't help but be won over by the sparkling freckles of this demon-child, and the thought that perhaps someone could find a cure in time.

"Alright, I'll fill you in.  But you'd better bring that cure straight here, you understand?  I'm not sure I have long... either way, I'm not gonna' hold on to much hope."

She shifts closer to the brazier, clearly unaffected that she is nearly touching the flames.  " A few years ago, my sister Hulil and I came to Palebank from Shadycreek.  We were sent here by our boss to keep an eye on any treasure that may have come from Eiselcross... to take, because whenever they come through here they're usually interesting pieces that treasure hunters want to keep away from Uthodurn and the Dwendalian Empire.  Urgon Wenth returned not long ago with such treasures... and I saw my chance.  I waited for him to sell his goods to Pelc's Curiosities, and then I stole them."  She glares at all of you.  "I gave most of the pieces to Hulil, but I did keep something for myself,"  she says, lifting her chin.

 It's at this time the 3 of you notice the ornate blade in a gilded sheath mostly tucked under her shirt.

"I don't know if those treasures are what caused this mess, but I haven't seen my sister in a while and it's the only thing Urgon and I had in common.  I searched his cabin, hoping for some shred of magic or secrets, but he didn't have much of anything.  That's it, okay."

 Can I roll insight to see if I believe that she's being honest?

Sanjay insight: 10

Sanjay looks into Tulgi's eyes, and although it's obvious what she said is true, he can tell that she doesn't want to mention what item she kept for herself.

"Ma'am," Sanjay starts, "given what you just told us, I can understand why you would be reluctant to tell us everything, but I promise that we aren't here to get you in trouble. What did you keep for yourself?"

Tulgi does not smile.  "Fine.  If it proves useful, it'll be worth it."  She pulls out the ornate dagger tucked under her shirt and offers it to you.

Salem wants to make a perception check as she glances around the room looking for anything unusual.

 Salem doesn't notice anything unusual.

Sanjay doesn't immediately reach for the dagger, since he's not sure if the dagger could be there item that caused the illness. 

I think I'll roll an arcana check to see if Sanjay knows whether it's safe to take the dagger or not: 13

Sanjay looks the dagger over as Tulgi grows somewhat impatient, but cannot determine anything about it except that it looks very nice.

Salem notices Sanjays uncertain look as he looked over the dagger so she decided to make an arcana check as well.
