"Stew sounds wonderful. I'll have some of that too, please!" 

"I'll also have some stew. Do you have any without meat?"

The gray-haired dwarf stops smiling for a moment and looks at Sanjay.  He blinks, then says "Um... I can bring ya' some broth if you'd like. Carrots and taters on the side?"

At this point, it's around 8:30 p.m. and a couple of the other patrons are getting up and heading out.

"That will be perfect," Sanjay says, smiling. "Thank you."

Then, once the barkeep is gone, Sanjay turns to the group and focusing on the newer members, he starts to fill them in on what e found out so far. 

"So, Tulgi stole the dagger from Urgon," and Sanjay pats his pack where he stashed the dagger, "and she has come down with whatever sickness or curse that took Urgon down. She said that she gave some of the loot to her sister, who lives in the caves outside of town. But," Sanjay pauses for a brief moment, "that's about it. We don't know a whole lot, yet." Then, looking at the original group members, he says, "We were going to start again in the morning."

Salem speaks up a bit, facing towards the whole group, "Yes, we should all rest up good tonight, we need to get a lot more information tomorrow if we plan on finding a cure any time soon, we have no idea how long Tulgi has left."

"Does anyone know where this cave is s'posed to be?" Senine asks, waiting for her food and drink. "I'm unfamiliar with the area, and this is the first I've heard of it."

"We can try to ask Elro tomorrow," Sanjay suggests.

"Before we call it a night, would it be ok if I took a quick look at this dagger you mentioned?" Thistle quickly asked Sanjay. "I've spent a lot of time tinkering and studying magical artifacts. Maybe I've seen something similar to it before." 

The bar man returns with food and drinks.  "Did I hear ya' mention a cave?" he smiles at Senine.

Sanjay nods at Thistle, but puts a finger up as if to say, "hold on a minute" since the barkeep is at the table.

"Aye," Senine answers him. "Croaker's cave, I think it was called. We need t'go and take a look at it. You know where it is?" she asks, taking her food and opening the bottle he gave her with a nod to him.

"Well anyone from the area knows of Croaker Cave.  Gets its name from the Giant Ice Frogs tha' live inside.  You'll want to be takin' caution if you head there.  Most try to avoid the place,"  he looks at your table.  Sighing, he says "It's due North of the village.  If you need anything else, my name is Arl."

"If Hulil really is in that cave, then there must be something worthwhile in there if she's willing to deal with giant ice frogs to do whatever it is she's doing," Thistle said quietly to the group. She perked up and added hopefully, "Maybe they aren't that bad and are CUTE giant ice frogs!" 

Senine thanks the Dwarf as he leaves, then chuckles a bit at Thistles words. "That'd be nice, but I doubt we're gonna be that lucky." She eats a few spoonfuls of stew, then takes a long pull from her bottle. "At any rate, y'said you wanted to take a look at the blade?"

Sanjay looks around real quick to make sure no one is paying any special attention to the group (if needed, Perception: 19), then he pulls his backpack onto his lap and carefully pulls the dagger out. He passes it over to Thistle. (I'll attempt to use stealth: 17 or even sleight of hand: 8 if you would prefer.)

Thistle pulls the dagger eagerly to herself. "Oh, you're a pretty little thing, aren't you?" she croons to it as she turns it over in her hands, inspecting it carefully.

Sanjay sees that they are indeed safe here, and successfully passes the blade without anyone being the wiser to it.

As Thistle looks it over, her extensive knowledge serves her well.  It takes her a moment, but as she turns it over looking at the ornate design and shape, she realizes that this is a relic of the fallen flying city of Aeor.

After several moments if incessant muttering under her breath as she studies the dagger, Thistle pushes it back across the table to Sanjay and shares her findings. She explains things quickly and excitedly, barely pausing to take a breath.
