Mongo looks around the room at the splattered jelly all over the place, and deadpans "Anyone else suddenly desiring a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?  I do, and I don't even need to eat..."

"That's because you're a weirdo." Taeli mutters under her breath.

AREA 71 - THE DEAD POOL

A reeking, acrid pool of slime and sludge fills most of this cavern, leaving only a rocky ledge to both sides. The air contains acidic vapors. You can even see it in the air. A creature that starts its turn here must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or take 4 acid damage every 6 seconds. It would take at least 18 seconds to carefully tread around the dead pool to reach area 70 or 72. A creature that holds its breath or doesn’t need to breathe has advantage on the saving throw. Filled with the remains of dead oozes, there is a huge pool here that is 2 feet deep.

Mongo makes his way towards area 72, creeping along the rocky ledge.

This cavern bears minor signs of multiple combats. One Red Wizard transmuter and two dread warriors are watching from near the eastern wall as four Thayan warriors battle an enormous gelatinous cube. Two of the four warriors have been engulfed.
