Lothlién pours some mead for himself and all that wants it while they wait for Falcon. After the talk he states "Hah, I like your style!". While he enjoys the mead, Lothlién tries to imagine what kind of monsters may be the "twig creatures" that Falcon mentioned.
(OOC: Would Lothlién know something about what kind of dangers to wait?
Also, sorry for taking long to answer, my schedule is all messed up this week)

Roll a nature check and we'll see how much Lothlién recalls.
OOC: I'm assuming that everyone's schedule is at least half messed up since March.
As night comes, Falcon shares his meal with you. Your host entertains you with hunt tales, including a long hunt for a wild boar that terrorized the forest a few years back. There is an impressive trophy adorning one of the walls to complete the story.
Eventually the hunter retires to his chamber, leaving you in the common room "I wish you a successful hunt tomorrow. There is plenty of room in the guest house by the entrance, or if you prefer a bit of luxury let Corwin know and he'll lead you to the premium suites in the second floor here for just 10 gp each."
As dawn comes, you wake up refreshed and ready to head into the forest under Rhok's guidance. Following a trail through the woods, you come to a foggy clearing, in the midst of which stands a crumbling two-story manse all but hidden beneath thorny ivy. The large house is set atop a six-foot-high stone foundation, and the main entrance has a balcony above it. Pumpkins grow wild in patches around the manse, with several wild boars feeding among them. The boars snort with contempt as you draw near.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nature roll: 18
Lothlién sleeps in the guest house, as he doesn't care a lot for accomodations. If there's still mead by the morning, he'll take just a sip before leaving.
Xarroth, after enjoying the mood and good conversation, feels safe in this place and takes Falcon up on the offer for the premium suits!
There he enjoys the extra facilities. A moment of meditative prayer of thanks and vows for the continued delivery of justice in the name of platinum wingspan that spread over all. Then he takes his time to enjoy the bathing facilities, fine delicacies before easing himself into a luxurious bed to meet the group fine and refreshed in the morning... hopefully.
Rhok would be greatful for the regular accomodations, take one last drink of mead, and bid everyone good rest, and prep his equipment for the trek to the house in the morning
Lothlién recalls information about a creature named Twig Blight. They look like a bundle of sticks in humanoid shape. Some magic users are able to summon and control them, there are larger versions too, but would not fit the description that Falcon gave you. Fire should be the best way to deal with them.
At the house she would send Sabastian out to do a scout of the area as she waits with the others, concerned about what the boars might do.
Sabastian perception: 21
Sabastian flies around the house. Most of the walls are covered in vines, some windows are broken and a few are boarded up. Pumpkin patches surrond the house, but there are pathways between them leading to the manse. The boars are grazing between the bushes and in the garden, but none of them is eating the pumpkins.
From your position, and with Sabastian's help, you take a deeper look at the entrance. Stone steps climb to a portico with a stone balcony overhanging it at a height of ten feet. Vines wrap around the balcony’s support pillars and its crumbling stone railing. The ground-floor entrance features a double door with a giant boar’s head crudely carved into it. An unmarred double door stands closed on the balcony.
"Well I see two ways in." Lia says. We could climb up to the balcony there, and try those doors, or we could try the front door." She shrugs. "There is also something off about the pumpkins, the boars are not eating them, which is strange."
"Yeah, I don't think knocking on the front door would be a great idea. By the way, i was thinking about something that Falcon said ... those twig creatures... I think I've heard about them before. If we meet them, remember to use fire agains it!" Lothlién says
You walk through the front yard, the boars keep grazing in the bushes and between the pumpkins. A couple of them seem to keep looking at you, but soon lose interest and go back to eating.
Taking your time to make little noise, the four of you climb to the balcony and open the double doors to an L-shaped hall. Its walls are lined with closed doors and shuttered windows. Between them are hooks where decorations once hung. A fireplace along one wall has a large insectoid head mounted above it. Natural light enters through a hole in the roof at the east end of the hall. The floor beneath the collapsed roof is strewn with debris.
You are at the corner of the L, the longest part goes east and you can see a door going north next to you, a set of stairs that go to the first floor, a few windows that open on both sides, and a larger door going south at the end. The short arm of the L goes south and it's dark, but you can make out the outline of a door at its end.
Lia looks around as well, looking over the mantel closely in turn...
Perception: 21
The mantel over the fireplace is big enough to put mugs or mementos, but it's currently empty. On the way there, Lia passes next to a window opening to a flagstoned inner courtyard that has a pillared arcade to the east. In the middle of the courtyard is a five-foot-wide stone well with thick vines erupting from it. Guttural snorts and yells erupt from the southeast corner of the manse, signaling the presence of orcs nearby.

Lia would also sleep in the guest house, not wishing to split up the group, even though the suite sounded amazing.

"Hmmmm, then perhaps we try to get to the house by staying away from the pumpkins...maybe we try the balcony?" Rhok suggests

"Let's try moving to the balcony there and climbing up to the second story entrance there..." Lia suggests, nodding to the door on the balcony.

Xarroth looks to get a closer look at the insectoid head. 9
Moving to the door, he will get a torch out and gestures blowing on it to portray lighting it.

While the others search for info in the room, Lothlién tries to think listen behind the doors, checking for steps, snores, or talking.

Xarroth recognizes the head as an Ankheg, a big burrowing beast that plagues crops.
