Lia gives him a raised eyebrow. "I agreed to help clear this place of monsters, for the price of a magic item." She says with ice in her own voice. "I did not agree to give every bobble I find to them, but rest assured if anything had historical value I would have gladly handed it over." She shrugs, going back to her friendly manner. "Go get them if you wish though, it matters little to me. It appears our job here is done then."
"I believe we should take a look first, just to be sure the Dwarves don't rob us" says Lothlién in a placatory tone. "There's another door here, by the way! This one seems to be locked. Do anyone have the skills to try and get it open?"
"any of you read dwarven? There's some kind of dwarfish text on this..." Rhoksays, trying to break the tension in the air. "The dwarves are doing some kind of research dig here. We can report what we find, if anything here could help against a Dragon, I think it would be worth our while to find out."
"I speak dwarvish." Lia says with a nod. "I am all for checking this place out, but I don't want to cause issues in the group either. We were hired to clear out this single room, in exchange for the sending stones, I suggest we get the dwarfs in here now, so they can decide if they wish us to do anything more or not." She nods to Xarroth. "I'd hate to ruin any historical things in here by blundering around." If no one else has gone to get the dwarfs by now Lia will do so.
Lia walks out of the temple. The dwarves are not around the fire, but walk from behind a pile of rubble after you call them. "We heard a lot of shouting coming from the temple, I was scared that a monster would come out and try to hurt us" Dazlyn explains in a trembling voice. Her husband is trying to comfort her "shh, I've told you everything is going to be all right. Is the monster vanquished?"
After hearing that not one, but two ochre jellies have been dealt with, both dwarves relax. Norbus continues "thank you for securing the altar room. I can't wait to see it for myself". He starts walking inside, followed by Dazlyn.
Rhok hears the dwarves approaching, once they are visible he tells them "This door was uncovered in the fight with the jellies, skulls came out and this coffer was inside"
The dwarves walk into the room stepping around the puddles of ooze and melting ice. Dazlyn goes to the altar, while Norbus takes a look at the coffer in Rhoks hands "Hanseath's beard! Those runes are ancient! Dazlyn come take a look at this". Dazlyn turns back to him and looks closely at the coffer "they sure are from ages ago! If I remember correctly the left one is a stylized A, for Abbathor no doubt. The one to the right looks like a currency symbol to my eyes."
Both of them take a look at the cavity in the pillar "This skulls must belong to sacrificial victims, and the chest should have treasure to offer in the altar for the next ritual" Dazlyn no longer looks scared, she is talking as if giving a lecture to eager students. Norbus eyes light up at the mention of riches "please let me take that coffer for safekeeping."
"Sa-Sa-Sacrificial victims? Hmm, maybe they had too much beer and festivals" Rhokstammers when he hears about the skulls, and hands the coffer over to Norbus
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

He tries to recall his time in Bahumat's temple, if every came across a figure called 'Abbathor'. Religion check: 11
The dragonborn then eyes up the excited dwarf. Does the excitement come from a passion of history or the idea of sudden personal gain? Insight check: 12
"Well, as you can see, we did as you asked." Lia says, stepping forward. "If you please, may I request our payment."
Dazlyn stops talking about the old dwarven temple, "you are right, a deal is a deal" she takes a stone out of her pocket and hands it to Lia. Then tells Norbus to give up the second of the sending stones, which he reluctantly does. She takes a look at the wall where Lia found a hidden door "would you help us explore the rest of the temple?, the priests chambers should be nearby and I wouldn't know what to do if another of those things is lurking in there".

Xarroth recalls that Abbathor was an evil god, easy to anger and prone to cursing even his own priests. The dwarves give out a mixed reading. Dazlyn looks and acts as if she is only here for knowledge, while Norbus' face looks grimmer than before, as if just holding that coffer is having a strange influence on him.
"What would you be willing to give us in exchange." Lia asks with a raised eyebrow, as she pockets the two sending stones. She nods to the coffer in one of the dwarf's hands. "It seems there might be other valuables in this temple... Would you be willing to split them with us if we help you through whatever of the temple we can get to?" She glances to her dracconic companion. "understanding that anything of historical value be your part of the treasure..."
"We sure would be kin to help you folks, but the dragon menace is pressing. I think the only way we can afford some extra time here with you would be with some kind of payment that would help us against that beast. How about we split any further findings? We don't want to steal archeologically and regiously important stuff, but if we find some money, or some useful artifacts..." Lothliéntries to stay as cordial as possible, while making sure they aren't being exploited nor losing too much time.
((OOC: my browser crashed and then I posted only to read Lia's answer after that. I'll keep it here anyway, sorry to be kinda redundant)
Xarrothexhales, "I have to agree with Lia, here. I truly help we can come to an amicable agreement when it comes to the treasures. So, until then, hands off."
The dragonborn leans in grabs hold of the coffer, not to snatch, but as if to share the weight.
"I would be in favor of helping to make sure the area is secure, I would be upset to learn that we left too early and harm were to befall you both" Rhok states and looks at his comrades. "What do you think? Perhaps there could be some kind of split or percentage of whatever else we find?"

Norbus frowns seeing that someone else is holding the coffer, but does not say anything.
Hearing that you all propose to secure the rest of the temple, the dwarves share a quick look. Before Norbus can say anything, Dazlyn agrees "of course we could split any treasure we find, I think that half for us and half for your group should be a fair split. Now let's see what's inside that chest that you are holding".
Norbus looks exasperated "I'm only agreeing because I don't want to get eaten by a monster in my sleep" and puts the chest down. If Xarroth doesn't stop him, he will open the coffer revealing it's contents
The coffer contains 13 dark red gemstones. A quick appraisal would put them at 10 gp each.
OOC: redundant posts are useful to me. They tell me that you are active and that you agree.
Rhok looks over to count the skulls that tumbled out, hearing sacrifices, he wants to see if there are in fact 11 skulls to perhaps match the gemstones
