This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rhokstretches, chuckles at Xarroth'sdelight at coin, nods and says "Perhaps more coin can be found?", and follows Lothlién, eyes scanning the surrounding tunnels, and looks for any fresh tracks
"Dividing into 5 sounds fair to me, mate" Don-Jon smiles at Xarroth.
You follow the tunnel on the south west corner. The tunnel goes west for 40 feet, where it turns north. There is a mess of tracks on the ground, it seems that the wererats travelled this path frequently. After turning north, you find a door on the west wall. No one can hear any sound coming from the other side.
Just 10 feet north of the closed door, the tunnel opens to a 10 by 40 foot room. Its walls are lined with stacked wooden posts. There is a closed door on the north west corner, you believe it connects to the mine's entrance.
OOC: updated map. You are in a tunnel, to your east is the room were Zeleen and the wererats were defeated. Going north it connects to an empty room with a closed door on the north wall. To the west is a closed door.
"Oof! Looks like the rats were tirsty..." Lothlién closes back the door - he and Xarroth use too much firebolts to leave that open... - and walk back with the group. "Let's keeping check the place? I vote we go clockwise..." he says, taking the lead again if no one objects.
((Sorry, a I can't remember the key. We are the X on the map? And your directions are given from the maps are from our perspective or the map's?))
OOC about the map and directions: - You are at the X on the map. - I'm giving directions using north, east, west and south, so the directions should be the same from both perspectives. - I plan on describing the action from where you started, and if I add the map image I put a OOC notice just above it describing the room you ended up in and the ways where you can move if you can't see the image for any reason.
OOC: I'm going to interpret going clockwise as keeping your left hand on the wall as you go.
Following Lothlién's lead you continue north, pass the room lined with wooden posts and cautiously open the door. You find yourselves at the western entrance, where you first met the wererat guards. There are no signs of other people here. The door going east is open, this is the one that leads to Zeleen's room.
Going through the open door, you take the tunnel going north that you had not checked before instead of going into the room where you fought the wererats. 40 feet north, it branches east and west. You take the branch going west and find a room with nine water barrels and enough dried food to last everyone in the mine a few weeks.
You go back to the intersection and take the east branch and continue until you meet another tunnel going north. You can see a door at the end of the north tunnel.
OOC: you are at a three way intersection in the tunnels. West is the tunnel where you came from. The branch going north ends in a closed door facing east. You have not yet explored the tunnel going east, but Sabastian has flown it before.
Don-Jon nods at Lothlién and grips his daggers tightly.
You open the door into a large room. There are no people inside, just a dozen wooden cots. Some of them are covered with dirty clothes and most are full of hair.
You take the tunnel going south out of the room full of beds, until you are back at the three way intersection. Having checked the north and west paths, you take the east way. There is a mix of tracks on this tunnel, mostly footprints, but you can also identify some big paw marks. You continue for 50 feet into the tunnel until it makes a sharp turn south. At the bending point there is a closed door going north.
There are no sounds coming from behind the door.
OOC: updated map. You are at an intersection. To your west is the tunnel from where you came. There is a closed door going north and a tunnel going south. On the tunnel you can see a forking tunnel going east 15 feet from you and a door going west 35 feet away.
Lothlién opens the door, revealing a weirdly shaped room. Two wheelbarrows, half full with ore, and an empty bin are its only contents. Don-Jon smiles "I'm starting to hope that those were all the wererats in the mines."
Out of the room you walk a few feet south and take the tunnel going east. After some 30 feet there is a door going north. Rhok notices more footprints than usual going in and out of the door, but you can't hear any sound coming from it. The tunnel continues east for another 40 feet, ending in a closed door. Lia notices that next to the far door is another tunnel going south.
OOC: updated map. You are halfway through a 70 feet long tunnel going east. At the east end you see a closed door and a bend going south. Directly north from your position is a closed door. You came from the west.
Rhok stretches, chuckles at Xarroth's delight at coin, nods and says "Perhaps more coin can be found?", and follows Lothlién, eyes scanning the surrounding tunnels, and looks for any fresh tracks

"Be ready for anything while I open this door" Lothlién says, before trying to open the door to the west
The door opens to a small room filled with empty wine casks and food wrappers. The alcoholic stench makes Sabastian fly a few yards back.

"You have my vote." Xarroth raises his claw with formality and leads the way for the other one.

"Let's continue that way then." Lia agrees.
"Sounds good" Rhok follows along, cautiously hoping no further surprises await them

North we go! Lothlién will again open the door after everyone is ready to deal with possible trouble

Rhok breathes a sigh of relief..."Where to next?"

“Let’s continue around clockwise still...” Lia says with a nod as she sees the empty room.
"Onwards then, the dwarves will be delighted to get their mine back with Don Jon" Rhok states, eyes still looking for fresh wererat tracks
