In a flash of desperation for the rat to stay back, Xarrothholds out his claw and three sparks of light flare to life then home in on the large rodent near him!
Rhok's bolt pinns the rat to the ground, it goes completely limp without a sound.
With no more rats in sight, you check the room. There are food remains and rat droppings in a corner. The north side of the room looks raw, and there are heaps of ore near it. This are was under active mining activity not long ago.
"Nicely done..." lia says, pushing white hair behind an ear as she glances around. "Best keep moving in case someone heard that though, don't want to give them too long to prepare if they did so..." She heads on to where the wererats should be located.
Rhok looks towards Xarroth and Don-Jon -"You two ok? Loth, did they get you?"
Rhok will also see if either of his two bolts are salvagable
"It's just a scratch, no big deal." replies Don-Jon "but now I'm making this personal" he wipes the blades of his twin daggers and follows Lia towards the southern passage.
Rhok finds that one of the bolts is still usable, the other is splinted near the tip and it's not going to fly straight again.
You keep walking cautiously through the mine. You go south 30 feet until the tunnel turns, passing both entrances to the miner's hideout on your way. The tunnel turns west and goes straight for 40 feet, turning north at the end, with no doors in between just a single oil lamp illuminating the way.
You walk north for 25 feet and arrive at a crossing. Going east is a closed door, to the west the tunnel splits in two after 15 feet and there is a passage going north that turns east after 15 feet.
Don-Jon puts an ear to the door and listens for a few seconds "I don't hear any sound from the other side."
OOC: updated map, the tunnels marked with a "c" continue into the mine, you are standing at the "X".
Don-Jon stands next to the wall, gripping both his daggers. Lothlién grabs the handle and pulls the door open, it's rusty hinges creaking while it moves. The room inside has six wooden cots, in a state of disarray. It seems that the invaders are not using them to slees, but searched them troughly and made a mess of the room.
OOC: from this room, the door opens to the west. The tunnel goes straight for 25 feet, splitting in two at the end. There is a passage going south just outside the room (from where you came) and another going north halfway through.

Rhok's bolt hits the rat, pinning it to the ground. It's not going anywhere else. The four remaining rats rush forward and try to bite everyone.
