"What do you have in mind?" Lia asks. "Why do we need them out of here anyway? What reason is there to do anything here?" She looks to the group. "No one has asked us to clear this place out, other than the wererats we already killed." She shrugs. "seems like the orcs have made it their home now, do we really need to force them out?"

Xarrothsighs, looking perturbed at the sight of orc and orge; certainly not the experience he was hoping.
"While you have a point, but from what I recall; were we asked to clear out the wererats? And what did we do? If I can find some sign or iconography of the shrine, we can try and gauge if justice should take place on this day..." The dragonborn looks to see if he can recognise any symbols or architecture...
"We were not asked to clear out the wererats, that is true." Lia puts in. "We decided to do so once we met with the dwarf miners, those who survived the wererat's invasion." She nods to the shrine. "The wererats called this place home. Any justice needing doing to the place was done when we took out those wererats. The orcs there, they did nothing to anyone here but the wererats." She shrugs. "What will happen if we do run off, or kill, these orcs?" She glances to the members of the group. "Unless you plan on staying here to keep more from using it as shelter, and probably their home, then more orcs, or something worse, will just fill the void."
"Perhaps if we can identify their clan sigil, and we head up to the ranch, we can verify if these are the ones causing the trouble, and then we'd know where to go to help the ranch" Rhok offers
You are too far from the building to tell to which god it was originally dedicated. But the door on the outer wall is wide and the building is not hidden, suggesting it didn't belong to any evil god.
The orcs are not flying any sort of flag or banner. While you talk a second orc climbs the tower, joining the lookout for a moment, then one of them climbs down.
OOC: you still have a few hours of daylight, it would still be possible to reach the ranch before nightfall.
"Very well, Lia." The dragonborn turns to his comrade, "A small favour; can you ask your familiar to try and get a closer look? I may have to return if I feel I must." He gives the half-elf a determined look.
"If you must return then I'll join you." Lia says with a shrug. "I just don't have any reason to go in there, right now, and kill a bunch of orcs that haven't done anything wrong, as far as we know." She does send her owl in for a closer look though, and reports anything seen to the group.
"Aren't Orcs always doing something bad? I just don't like those guys." Lothlién says. "But I don't have any particular reason to kill these specific Orcs, so I'm not pushing you guys to do it. If everyone thinks it's better to deal with the ranch invasors first, let's do it."
Xarrothnods with Lothién, "Wise words spoken this day."
A slower nod is given to Rhok, "I do believe that sounds like the most probably outcome, but I just want to be sure this place is not being defiled by their presence..."
Sabastian flies over the shrine again. The orcs don't pay him any attention and he's able to perch on top of the belfry to take a closer look. Through the owl's eyes, Lia sees the orcs eating and resting. Most of them are wearing a yellow arm band with a black sigil on it. The ogres don't seem to care, one sleeps and the other is just picking the last strands of meat out of a bone.
The shrine itself is old, holes on the roof show a dusty interior, the only think that still shines is the bell on top. As Sabastian flies back he sees a symbol on top of the door, a crystal ball with many eyes floating inside.
If Lia tells the group about this, Xarroth would recognize that the symbol belongs to Savras, a neutral god of divination and fate.
A smile forms on Xarroth, as he chuckles small licks of flame dance out from his nose, "Ah. I see! This is cannot be for us. A hero will be made here, and considering we are given the choice, it is not for us. Thank you very much for your assistance, Lia. Come, to the ranch!" The dragonborn strides off quite happily.
“Not a problem.” Lia assures the dragonborn. She summons her owl back to ehr side, then would return to the horses. Mounting up she woudl be ready to head to the ranch.
Leaving the shrine alone, you take the path back to Conyberry and then to Butterskull Ranch.
You pass the ruined town and after three miles start hearing a ringing sound near the trail. Further inspection reveals a cow grazing near some bushes, with a cowbell around her neck. It looks at you calmly and continues to ruminate.
The cow waits for you to get closer and lets you guide her easily. Upon her hindquarters she is marked with the same letters as the horses, BAK.
Butterskull Ranch occupies a large plot of land on the north side of the Triboar Trail, nestled between two hills. Beyond a ramshackle wooden fence stand corn fields, an apple orchard, gardens, and pasture land. A path breaks off from the trail to lead to a two-story farmhouse next to a pond. West of the farmhouse are the charred remains of a barn and smithy that have been burned to the ground.
There are a few pigs wandering in the fields, but no people on sight. There is an apple orchard near the farmhouse where you can tie the horses and the cow if you wish.

"While I cannot say I am too familiar with human husbandry, but those animals contained for its own safety, yes?" Xarroth casually points at the cow as they walk.
Seeing the destruction the pointing finger drops and the face turns solemn as he looks to the others to affirm the idea of trying to stay alert and careful...
Xarroth scans to make out any others around the farm...
"Are they teamming up, or just around each other? Could we make them fight each other? I mean... ogres are big, strong, and dumb" Lothlién propose
"Great idea! Is there any way we can make a diversion happen to make the Ogres think the Orcs are messing with them?" Rhok whispers

"Yet more animals..." Lia says with a frown. She moves over to the cow and tries to gather it as she had the horses earlier...
