Balassar just nods “If needed we’ll be staying with Tarhun Silverstone. If the opportunity to aid in investigating or tracking down those that attack us, please let us know and we will gladly help.”
The Lawmaster looks confused for a moment, then seems to recall the name. "The smith? Ah, I see. Well, that will be fine. I will keep your offer to assist in mind, and am grateful for it, but I doubt...ahem, I expect others will wish to take over the investigation." She seems not entirely happy at the thought, but unwilling to speak further. "Well then, thank you again for your efforts to aid the Empire, not just here but in Felderwin too. Believe me, I am aware of the service you have provided and am certain no blame attaches to you for what has happened to these prisoners. Please stay safe within the walls of Zadash. I will need to stay here a little longer, but there's no need for you to wait." It's polite, but it's definitely a dismissal, and one of the Crownsguard escorts you out of the alley and into the street, not far from the Pentamarket. You see the carriage being driven down the street by a man you haven't seen, but escorted by one of the Crownsguard. Your own cart presumably remains in the alley by the Song and Supper.
You are in Zadash, and you have no specific task to peform for anyone. This marks the end of your time as the Felderwin Irregulars I suppose, and the beginning of something new. But that's up to you.
Silent, still looking over his shoulder periodically, says, Let's get somewhere quiet and talk about things. Where we're at and where we're going. If Balassar knows his folks will have us, I'm happy to go to the smithy.
Balassar just nods as he looks in the direction of his fathers smithy “It would be nice to see my family. Haven’t seen them in a long time. Plus should be two empty bedrooms since my brother left and then I went into the military so you two should have a place to crash for free.”
Balassar just nods a light smile finally crossing his face "Follow me then." he says guiding them along the way, willing to stop if they see a shop they want to look in.
Alton, you pass by several restaurants boasting cuisine of Zadash, Rexentrum and the Menagerie Coast, as well as stalls on the street selling snacks. You notice a small herbalists shop that might sell healing supplies, and a rather more impressive wooden building with green velvet banners hanging outside, called the Invulnerable Vagrant, which appears to have magical-looking items in the window.
Balassar, you would know the name of this shop, and have passed by it many times, but probably never been inside. The items it sells are far beyond the reach of you and your family - or at least they were, before your recent success as a mercenary.
You enter a lovely, well-lit and immaculately clean shop, with the green-gold decoration continuing inside with velvet drapes on several walls. One long table and a couple of smaller ones have a few display case with a few weapons and other items, all of which are certainly out of the price range of the average citizen, and most out of your price range as well. There's a large bookcase against one wall and in front of it a counter where business is apparently conducted. A tall, fur-covered person is leaning against the counter, utterly engrossed in the book they are reading; they haven't noticed you enter.
(You may never have seen a firbolg before - I don't think you've encountered one on your travels, and there are few in the cities or towns of the Empire. You can roll a Nature check to see if you recognise the shopkeeper as one.)

Alton nods, "I'm fine with staying at the inn, and I can use the time to see some of the places here in Zedash."
Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
Silent nods but says nothing else, turning his gaze back to the entrance to the sewers.

Alton looks to his two friends, "Well, we have the day ahead of us I guess. What should we do?"

Alton stretches, "Well, lets see what shops are on the way to Balassar's smithy."

You walk through the now busy and noisy streets of Zadash in the vicinity of the famous Pentamarket, on your way to Balassar's home.
Anyone on the lookout for interesting shops, make a Perception check. And let me know what kind of thing you're looking for.
Balassar just walks them through the street helping to point out various shops that might be interesting such as magic shops, clothing, etc...
OOC:
Hoping to give Alton and Silent some help on their rolls, if you'll allow it.
Sure, Alton and Silent can roll with advantage, if they're interested in looking for shops.
Alton would be mainly looking for places to eat and shops that might sell magic items.

Balassar just stops to look for a second “Do you guys want to go in?” He asks, curious of what the inside looks like.”
Alton looks to Balassar and Silent, "I'd like to go in, if that is alright."

Balassar just nods “Sure, let’s go.” He says leading the detour into the building.
Silent follows Alton and Balassar into the store, ogling the wares in the window.
