The room with the secret staircase is filled with dusty white sheets draped over all of the furniture in the room. You know from the dollhouse that the door to the stairwell is in the east wall.

With G and S vying for the lead, Ronny will take rear guard, Perception 7

Nothing approaches from behind, and the door to the staircase opens easily. Behind it is the rickety, narrow, cobweb filled  stairwell. It spirals down below you out of sight.

Lavena will take one of the middle positions as they start down. 

Elias will take the 3 spot.

Saxis will lead readying his maul.

 The stairs spiral downward, cobwebs flapping at you like ghostly veils. You try to keep track of how far down you go, figuring when you pass the other floors, but soon you realize you're going far deeper into the earth than a cellar would be. Finally, you reach the bottom, and as you step through the door and into a narrow tunnel, a low thrum fills your ears. It takes a second to realize it's voices, and they seem to be chanting as one. The tunnel stretches 20 ft ahead before branching left and right.

Levana moves to the branch and tries to tell which direction the sounds are coming from.

Perception: 12

It's impossible to tell...they echo all around you. 

Lavena then glances down the two passages.

Passive perception: 18.

Closing his eyes momentarily Saxis will cast Detect Magic opening his eyes a blue energy will seemingly flow forth from them.

 Saxis, you do not detect any magic. The left tunnel goes down about 20 feet before turning again to the left, with an opening about 10 feet down on the opposite wall. The right tunnel has two openings across from each other about 10 feet down, and then it continues on another 20 feet before opening into a room.

Guenhyvar will glance at the others and point to the left with a shrug.

"Want to go towards the room or away from it?"  Lavena asks the others, nodding towards the room, then the other direction.  "I vote for away..."

Through the opening to the left, you can see the entrances to two crypts, both open. Heavy stone slabs are leaning near them. The left one is blank, the right is inscribed Walter Durst.

Tovy keeps an eye towards the room as we head the other way

"Seems like we found the crypts."  Lavena says.  "Shall we see if the children's crypts are here?"

Rontevich is a little nervous There are too many ways to come from here. Look around that corner please, then let's check out this way before moving on. Why should the children even have crypts? Who'd have built crypts for children?

Turning back to the other path "well where to next? These things are already looted."

Around the corner, stairs descend to another large room. You can see a table and 4 chairs at this end of it.
