"I think we get the ones over who will be most likely to have trouble at the gate." Brocc says with a glance around. "Even if the guard that was put to sleep is awake now, they will not have any way to know who is all in this group at the gates yet." He nods to the wall. "I suggest one group goes over the wall, while another group goes through the gate still. I will go through the gate, since there should be no reason for them to stop me, unless the gate has been truly closed to all traffic." He nods to the others. "We can then meet up again outside the city." With that plan said, he would wait to see if anyone has any concerns, then head off with those to go through the gate, while the other group moves to the wall.
"Vani, Aurora can lift you up with the rope to the top of the wall. You willing to do that? Then you can use the crowbar and some leverage to help us up. Beornrun, you should also get over the wall. I can go with you. Thorin, Brocc, and Wave, you should head out the gate. Does that seem about fair?"

The perception roll isn't needed, the section of the wall with no guards, in between 2 towers that is closest to you is just a couple minute walk away.
So, the wall is 30 feet tall, so the rope needs to be at least 60 feet long, so you can just tie two ropes together.

There's no walkway on the wall. It's mainly meant to keep people from moving in and out of the city of without checking at the gates, and also as a simple defense for the city.

"Here's what I'm thinking: Aurora flies the rope up, with Vani holding on, and walking up the wall as the rope goes up to make it easier on both of you. Beornrun and I hold the rope to stabilize it as you climb down. Once you're down and stabilizing the rope, Aurora will give Beornrun a telepathic signal to go. Once Beornrun holds the rope, your combined weight and strength should be able to support mine. Once I get to the top, I will climb down as carefully as I can and we can move away quickly. Seem good?"
