Thorin looks closely at the object before shaking his head. "Dynasty eh. Well, I always wondered why the church hated them so much. Now I know. A different god will do that to some people. Makes no sense to me." 

"The Luxon isn't a god in the way you're thinking," Vani explains, "it's... it created the cosmos. My husband and I study it, it's potential..."

"Really?  What have you discovered? That's very interesting!"  

"Nothing of note," Vani says, "it's kind of hard to do research when youre in the heart of the empire..."

"When we are away, I would love to collaborate with you.  Dunamancy is closely tied to the teachings of Luxon."  

Vani nods, "My husband could tell you more about it..." she trails off.

"Ah, yes." Hasira puts his hand on her shoulder. " We'll get them back. Come on. We can talk about this later. "
