Okay, sorry, I realized only one roll was needed. It was my mistake, so you don't need to roll again, but Throrin should just do one roll. You got higher than both of them, so you go first.

So, initiative starts. Beornrun would go first, but he's surprised.
(Question for Hasira, do you recall how many hit points Aurora has? I accidentally erased it in my HP tracker.)
So, as you are walking through the forest, you suddenly hear a click from a crossbow, and a bolt flying through the air as it makes a "whoosh" sound. You see as the bolt flies through the air towards Hasira. The bolt misses, flying a foot above your left shoulder and hitting the ground behind you with a "thump" as it causes some fallen leaves from the nearby deciduous trees to fly about an inch into the air.
The attack misses, but once the bolt misses you can see a short male human holding a light crossbow to your left partially obscured by a tree trunk. (Grants half cover)
Next, you see as another crossbow bolt flies through the air, guided towards Hasira comes from another bandit that quickly ducks behind a slightly thicker tree. The bolt hits true, striking Hasira in the chest, up one inch and to the left 1.5 inches from his heart.

Then, suddenly from behind the group a tall female human wearing dark clothes and wielding a scimitar runs up to Thorin, raising the curved metal blade high, bringing it down, but you are able to duck out of the path of the blade.
Next, another bandit charges up to Thorin, attacking with a scimitar, slashing across the side of your chest, drawing blood as you take 8 damage.

Next, you can see as a decorated bandit leader steps from behind a nearby stone, walking up to you as his hanging ear-rings chink together, holding a scimitar in one hand, and a dagger in the other. He scowls, looking at each and every one of you slowly. He then smiles as he looks at the injured, unconscious form of Thorin and Hasira. His teeth are yellow, and he's missing 2 teeth on the bottom right corner of his mouth. He snarls as he points a dagger at Beornrun and says, "Hello, traveler. Don't you know it's safer on the road? Now! Drop your weapons. Empty your pockets and pouches! Any of your gold, anything worth money, your outer clothes. Hand them over, and we may spare your lives."

Beornrun will draw his short sword first....he doesn't like the odds now....
"Perhaps we can offer you some coin....and we can avoid more bloodshed. You have the numbers, but I can assure you not all of you will live through this...why not take some coin and no one get's hurt."
..Persuasion or Intimidation roll (same based on charisma either way.which is not good)......12
I assume this takes his action, if not he will take the dodge action for now....
ooc: Thorin should still be standing....
NOTE: Critical roll allows characters to use strength instead of Cha for intimidation....that would change the modifier above from -1 to +3 if allowed.....
