„Could you ask them please if there are other parts of the wood that the lumberjacks could work in, or if the pixies would be willing to move somewhere else? Of course, i do understand that we would have to compansate them somehow if they were to move.“

Cinta looked shocked, " No."
" The cutters have broken the pact, they are the ones that need to make reparations."
Cinta looked back at the fey, " Perhaps I should stay here.....", she looked around at those accompanying her with a slightly frightened expression.
' I was brought to this land in chains but I thought a pact, a promise, meant something here? If it does not perhaps I should stay with those who do think it does?"
"Not in my experience." Zoya steps forward and takes a deep breath. "And you staying here won't change that. You made a pact to solve an issue. So, we're trying to do that." She takes Cinta's wrist and tries to pull her in the direction of the group. "I know nothing of chains, but I know something of duty. Fulfill that, and then I'll stop caring about whatever decisions you're making."
"It is between the lumberjacks and the tree people." Leon tells the others. "There is an agreement that seems to have been broken. those who employ these lumberjacks will need to either rework the agreement, or will have lumberjacks that won't work. We were asked to find out what the issue here was and we have done so." He continues walking. "It is up to others to figure out how to make this right with the tree folk."
Arrin chimes in, "I care nothing about the chains you were brought in. I was paraded around in chains just yesterday and can be easily shackled to them again. We made a deal, a pact, a promise to the woodcutters just yesterday to solve their issue. I would rather take the simple route but as that would upset you we're doing things a different way. Now let's go and speak to the woodcutters for this side of the woods, we cannot do anything about the ones on the other side of the woods."
Cinta allowed herself to be dragged along suddenly feeling very, very alone.
But one thing caught her ear, yes she had made a pact with Taryon even if the one he made with the cutters was under false pretenses.
So she would fulfill that.
As they walked back she eventually withdrew her wrist from Zoya's hand and ventured a whispered question, " How was being a frog? I think it be a lot of fun...was it?"
Zoya thought about the question for a minute. "Oh, it was...I felt very stupid. I think I could enjoy it for a few seconds, but I'm glad to know...anything again."She pressed her arm closer to her body, feeling the weight of the spellbook lingering there. "Maybe I'll be able to give you the full experience one day."
Orin whistles and a few moments later Amaya lands gracefully on his risen arm.
„ I think there are better creatures to experience then frogs...,“ after a moment he continues: „What do you all think we can do about this situation? The pixies want to be left alone, the lumberjacks want to feed their families and the people behind the lumberjacks want to make a profit. Unless one of you knows a druid who can regularly grow trees over night, i don‘t see a solution.“

" I would very much like that.", Cinta said happily.
" I could jump, and swim.....it would be bad to be stupid....maybe, but easier perhaps if your mind was filled only with eating and swimming and jumping. And not so full of pain."
She did not answer Orin, they didn't seem to like her answers so best to stay quiet.
The party continues their discussion as they return to Hayes and the newly arrived lumberjacks outside of the forest. He appears to be happy to see you. “Thank the gods you all made it out in one piece. Did you see the monsters? Did you kill them?”
I would like to Hex Hayes once i am within 90 feet of him and weaken his wisdom, giveing him disadvantage on insigde checks. As far as i know, there is no visual clue or safeing throw. So unless he sees or hears me hexing him ( with 90 ft away) he shouldn't have a clue.
„My apologies for my friend here, but she is a bit upset that you were holding back with some crucial information. You see we found those who you were calling monsters and they were actual intelligent, sentient creatures. And they said that you had an agreement with them, to only take a certain amount of trees from the forrest and to replace them with new saplings. So what did change that you stoped to follow the original agreement?“
Leon walks up with the others. "It seems you need to rework, or start keeping, the agreement you have with the forest people." He says. "The answer to your issue is as my companion here has stated, the forest folk believe they have an agreement with you, that you are only to take a certain amount of trees each year. If you know nothing of this agreement, then I would suggest getting someone to speak with the forest people, so you can come to an agreement with them. If you know about this agreement already, then it will need to be resolved as to why you are not following it." he shrugs. "We have done our job, we have solved what the problem is, it is up to you to figure out how to work things out with the forest people."

" There are more groups of cutters that have broken the old pacts as well, these woods are under siege."
Cinta turned back to the pixie:
" We will go and speak with the cutters and ask them why they have broken the pact and what they intend to do to repair things."
Zoya watches Cinta and leans to the others, keeping her voice low. "Does anyone of you understand any of this?"
„Could you ask them please if there are other parts of the wood that the lumberjacks could work in, or if the pixies would be willing to move somewhere else? Of course, i do understand that we would have to compansate them somehow if they were to move.“

" The cutters have broken the pact, they are the ones that need to make reparations."
" Now lets go see them and demand they do so."
She began to follow Leon.
Orin shrugs: „While i don‘t want to defend the lumberjacks, but how do you expect someone to feed his family with only ten trees a year?“
"Maybe they should make a different deal with these creatures."
Cinta looked back at the fey, " Perhaps I should stay here.....", she looked around at those accompanying her with a slightly frightened expression.

Cinta spat on the ground and then went and stood off to the side, she had already given everyone all the information.

When Orin casts the spell, he sees Hayes briefly shake his head, but he doesn’t do much. He just keeps working.
The party is 5-10ft away from Hayes. What do you do?
