Shayne will of course attend the funeral, at a respectful distance from the Vistani themselves. Any excuse to take in the different songs and all... Once that is over he would inquire of Silent Blade and Gadhan if they wanted a hand in doing anything with the remains of the Half Orc. "At the very least," he would suggest, "We should drag the remains out of sight of the others."
Shayne would also, tactfully as possible, bring up the idea of what to do with Ketch's belongings. The chain mail might come in handy to someone, or at least fetch a coin or two somewhere? As would the warhmammer? If Shayne is going to accompany the rest of the party, and he does look forward to doing so, he wouldn't say no to the protection Ketch's shield may offer, of the crossbow and bolts if nobody else has a use for them. Of course his fellows should take what they would, of course of course. They are his mates and companions, after all. But the Waterskin, the rope, torches, mess kit, rations even... All would be wasted if not taken by us.
After the sad dealings with the corpse are over Shayne will invite Gadhan and Silent Blade to share the shelter of the tent that the Vistani so kindly offered to him. When all is said and done, Shayne will perform Alarm as a ritual, warding the entry to the tent. Gadhan and Silent Blade would be set to not trigger it, if they accepted the invitation to the tent. The alarm would just be a mental one... And with that, Shayne McGowan will call it a night and get himself some sleep.
"Perhaps we wait on the others to return, but I would say we give everything to the Vistani except the shield, hammer and chain mail, that stuff we sell in the next town."
You both wait in the Ducak Castle courtyard for several awkward minutes as the Duchess switches topics rapidly, often going back to criticize the men in Daggerford. She mostly laments on how useless and untrustworthy they are in terms of actually getting work done. Eventually the young servant girl returns with 5 pouches bulging with coins. Lady Morwen then drunkenly hands you two all 5, and if you choose to count you do find that all 500 gold is there. If you both don’t seek to ask any other questions, the Duchess simply wishes you off and makes you promise to tell her all about your adventures with the Gypsies. You eventually make your way back to town and likely make it there in time to see the funeral taking place around midnight.
Back at the Vistani Camp The party begins to rest up and settle down for the night, with various party members finding themselves settling into the camp to prepare for the morning. (Feel free to share any other actions taken in the night, if any)
You all wake up to the sound of much hustle and bustle, those of you who slept outside of a tent seeing the Vistani already hard at work packing up the encampment. Stanimir stands at the center yelling orders and light hearted criticism to all his people. There appears to be some food cooking over the main campfire, a large cooking pot emitting wonderful smells being stirred by Adaine. You’d recognize all the faces of the familiar Vistani tribe out and about, helping pack up in one of way or another. With most tents appearing packed up, other than Shayne’s, you’d all likely realize that they didn’t want to abruptly wake you all so they let you all sleep in. It’s an early sunrise but they all don’t seem very affected, something that really stands out since you guys absolutely know almost all of the Vistani had been hammered. Yet they all seem fine, and joke with one another like it’s been a regular day. They prepare several wagons for a long days travel. They let you know, once awake, to handle any business you want to in town before they set off. As it will be several long days on the road straight back to their homeland.
(Characters have some downtime, and can tell the Vistani when they’re ready to depart. Then we will move on to the road.)
Tahnis wakes up and glances at his companions before packing away. He remembered giving everyone their share of the gold. He checks in on Silent Blade, making sure she's okay before turning to Gadhan and Gekks, and finally Shayne. He turns and nods at Adaine as his stomach growls. He scribbles notes before approaching Adaine and sniffs the aroma. "That smells good, what is it? A Vistani dish?"
Well Shayne doesn't necessarily want to go into Daggerford and shop for adventuring gear... But if he can think of a contact on the shadier side of things he could slip in and talk to real quick he would like to inquire about getting a couple tools? Specifically he would be looking to grab some thieve's tools. When on a grand adventure one never knows when one may accidentally lock themselves out of... their tent? He'll wait and do respectable shopping in the next town they come across.
Besides that, he would assist the Vistani in packing up in any way that he can (likely helping lifting and carrying, they probably have tent removal and wagon packing down to a science.)
Tahnis Adaine looks up at Tahnis’ approach with a soft smile, and tucks some hair behind her elven ears as she moves to pour a bowl of the broth for you. She smiles to herself as she serves before replying, “A recipe my mother taught me and that my grandmother taught her. I’ve been told it is meant to show the fire in the blood of Vistani women!” She looks at you intently to gage your reaction once taking a mouthful. Once you do you feel an intense burn fill the tastebuds of your mouth, as it seems like a raging inferno roars uncontrollably on your tongue. You tase nothing but that intense heat, and literally makes sweat drip down your face as it seems to only get hotter with time. Adaine watches the entire time with an excited smile, “Well...What do you think Tahnis?!”
Roll a Constitution Check Tahnis to withstand all that heat,
Shayne During your short stay in Daggerford, you remember much talk of the rumored to be crazy old halfling named Dido Diddendock, who is said to have anything you’d want for sale...if you had the gold for it. You’d also heard recently that he’d been run out of town, and is doing business now instead in a farmhouse not too far from the encampment (so it seems pretty low risk). Should you choose to go you come upon a humble property filled to the brim with halfling women, men, and children. You’d pass through the several rooms, a kitchen, a child’s room, and then finally to a basement. There you find the dirty looking, one-eyed halfling you know to be Dido, the supposed trustworthy heart of the black market in Daggerford. Surrounding him are other halfling figures, though they seem to busy wrestling with each other as Dido snorts and claps with laughter. On your arrival he will say with a thick lisp and yellowed smile, “How may I therve you thoday?”

Tahnis CON Save - 12
As the broth fills his mouth and slides down his throat, He manages to prevent himself from vomiting in front of Adaine, though he can hear his insides curse him, vowing to make it worse when the chili comes out several hours later. Tears well in his eyes and sweat pours down his face as Tahnis' mind flashes back to when he was 10 years old. An image of his father flashes through his mind. "Now Tahnis, your mother is working late, so I'll be cooking supper. Are you sure you can handle my Druid Dragonfire Chili? It's an old family recipe."
"Yes father, I can handle it. I've been eating peppers." Proud and somewhat concerned of his son's guile, the Archdruid prepared the chili and gave Tahnis a bowl. The boy eagerly ate several spoonfuls before the heat flared inside of him and he gasped for air. Chugging water, Tahnis nodded. "It's good."
"I'm glad you like it," Johnathan said. "Oh, and don't tell your mother."
Shaking away the memories, Tahnis smiled at Adaine, smacking his lips against his tongue in hopes of getting the feeling back into it. "It's delicious. The broth matches the burning blood of the Vistani women, and no doubt matches your heart and the fire that is inside of you."
Tahnis Adaine gives a squeal of happiness that Tahnis seemed to enjoy her food and will instinctively move to give him a big hug. Her head in his chest you hear her muffled voice excitedly say, “I knew you’d love it! Ratka said it’d be too much for you but I knew he was being an idiot!” Ratka is passing you all as she says this and gives an indignant, “Hey!” In return Adaine simply laughs and hides her face as he walks by, her still in your arms. Realizing this she quickly backs up and resumes stirring the pot with a bright blush on her face. At your final comment about the fire inside her and her heart, the blush becomes easily visible once again. She seems to avoid Tahnis’ eyes as she replies, “It's all in the spices!” Then begins to laugh a little too long at her own joke before catching herself and abruptly stopping. She whispers to herself under her breathe, looking a little frustrated. Though after this, she does continue keeping the food ready.
After a second she clears her throat and looks up at you once again, “You know I knew Stanimir was seeking heroes but you’re not exactly who I’d have pictured of the great adventurers who were going to free our home...But I have a good feeling.” She finishes saying this with a small smile but her eyes are focused entirely on the pot, resuming her cooking as she waits for your reply.
Gekks holds the bruise on the side of his head as he stumbles out of the tent he looks around at everyone bustling about he sits on a log taking a moment to recover himself reminding himself groggily of what happened. After a moment he heads over to the smell of food as well as Tahnis and Adaine "Heya you two. How'd ya sleep? Also what's cooking?" Gekks head has a rough looking bruise on it from where Ketch's hammer hit the night before. He looks like he didnt sleep the best.

He will then perform the uncorking ceremony on three bottles of wine.
Once he is done with his holy time he will spend the rest of the morning being muscle for the camp.
Tahnis smiles at Adaine, almost wondering if she was brushing off what happened the night before. He figured he better not press it. "Yes, I'm curious to see what exactly we'll be freeing your home from, but there's time for that later." He sees Gekks approaching and smiles at the merchant. "Adaine is cooking a broth that 'shows the fire in the blood of the Vistani women.' It's quite good and very spicy. But good. Reminds me of home."

The Party begins to gather around the campfire, being drawn to the smell of finely cooked food. Adaine will give the approaching form of Gekk a shy smile at the words of Tahnis, but she just nods and goes to serve him a bowl. Upon SB’s arrival and opening statement, Adaine drops the ladle she’d been using into the pot in shock. After some light cursing she will look very embarrassed and apologize to SB, saying that the Kenku just caught her off guard. Moving to grab another ladle in a pack nearby, she then goes to pour some broth for the small rogue. Her hands shake with fear or nervousness as she does so. The party begin to have some early morning conversation as they settle into the camp, the three of you eating also seeing Gadhan hard at work helping the Vistani pack up by moving heavy crates likely filled with food.
Shayne...
You find yourself in the unpleasant smelling basement of one Dido Diddenstock, his one eye watches you after your request for tools for a brief second before his yellowed smile returns. “I goth whathya need!” You begin to delve into the specifics regarding your purchase, though you do make a bet on the wrestling match. Choosing instead to bet on the smaller halfling who’d been getting dominated by his larger opponent since you’ve entered the room. As your about to finalize the deal, and determine price, a loud screech is heard and you see the small halfling standing with the other atop his narrow shoulders. With his little knees shaking from the effort, the smaller halfling then viciously throws the body of his opponent at the wall, the impact likely breaking some ribs. Dido laughs uproariously and takes 10 silver from Shayne with delight. He looks to the human bard then says with his signature toothy smile, “Only 25 gold for you friend! Can’t have your day be filled with nothing but loss!” He laughs once again, his big belly moving along with the force of his chuckles.
Eventually being given the tools he wanted from Dido after payment, Shayne makes his way back to the camp. Catching them as they appear almost done with packing up, the Vistani people mostly wait comfortably sitting atop several wagons. Stanimir, Ratka, and Damia however would be found at this time standing atop the hill where Elliot had been burned. They just stand unmoving and stare at the sky above as they wait for the party to be ready to leave.
(Shayne left early to see Dido, and used his downtime. Takes place much later then what’s happening w rest of party, if anyone else needs to do anything/buy anything during this downtime, they’d also come back at the same time as Shayne.)
Shayne McGowan returns with an easy gait and whistling an old familiar tunes. He gives a friendly nod or word or shake to all as he makes his way to grab some of the food before it’s gone. He’ll spend the rest of the time before departure appearing to do a lot more than he actually does to assist...
Gekks quickly eats the broth not having had much to eat in the last day. "Bless your soul, I was completely famished." Gekks gives a large sigh after finishing, finally deciding to forget about last night for the time. He turns to Tahnis and SB "You guys worried?"

((Coins removed, tools added))
Shayne McGowan returns with an easy gait and whistling an old familiar tunes. He gives a friendly nod or word or shake to all as he makes his way to grab some of the food before it’s gone. He’ll spend the rest of the time before departure appearing to do a lot more than he actually does to assist...
Tahnis smiles down at SB. "Good to see you awake friend. You should try some of this broth too."
OOC: I don't mind starting a party fund, but I also don't mind if Shayne gets Ketch's share of the gold.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Gekks quickly eats the broth not having had much to eat in the last day. "Bless your soul, I was completely famished." Gekks gives a large sigh after finishing, finally deciding to forget about last night for the time. He turns to Tahnis and SB "You guys worried?"
