No worries! I wasn't sure if you were imagining that conversation happening as you set out or as you were coming back. Also, you're working together with Tarek to forage for water, correct?
After finding all the weapons and Torrents pack, she brings them back to where the rest of the group is. "I think I got them all," she says with a grin, setting them down as carefully as possible. "I'm not sure whose is whose, though... Did you guys have any luck finding water?"
(I'm guessing she probably came back around the same time as Tarek and Anakis)
It's just Torrent and Fluin when you rejoin the group after having managed to collect everyone's things, presuming it took you about an hour. Fluin remains unconscious, lying on the earthen mound. Ulben is somewhere, perhaps nearby, searching for clonna I assume.
Something I forgot to mention which may affect Tarek and Anakis' decision about how far to go in search of a source of drinkable water and Ulben's decision about how far to go in search of clonna is that you already spent the better part of the day tracking the toads to this place, so continuing to travel far into the late afternoon will risk becoming exhausted. Traveling about an hour away and coming back can be done safely, but every additional hour spent travelling increases your chances of exhaustion. Of course it also increases your chance of finding what you're looking for. The farther Tarek and Anakis go, the greater their chance is of finding an abundantly flowing source of clean water, and the farther afield Ulben wanders, the greater his chance is of finding the right type of moss growing in some ferny hollow. So with that in mind Tarek, Anakis, and Ulben, please tell me how far from the rest of the group you are going to go to find what you're looking for. (Tarek, I know you already gave me an answer, but I wanted you to know the possible consequence so you could make an informed decision, so feel free to change your mind if that's what you think you should do.)
Are you sticking to the plan Tarek? Keep in mind also that if something happens, you won't be locked in. I just need to know your intention in setting out.
After searching for two hours, Tarek and Anakis find a small basin surrounded by rock fed by a trickling spring of pure water. You manage to fill four water skins (assuming you brought the water skins of the other party members with you) befoe the spring runs dry, frozen in the deepening cold. It will take another two hours to bring the two gallons of water you have gathered back to rejoin the others, by which time dusk will be upon you.
About an hour after Aluzira has finished collecting the items that were dropped in the wood, Fluin begins to stir. His wound seems to have stopped bleeding, and although he seems uncomfortable and covered with welts, he manages to sit up and says he would be able to walk if need be.
Ulben, although you discover many lush corners of the bog replete with diverse kinds of moss, you find none that match the leaf-pattern of clonna, forcing you to return empty handed. As your path back to the rest of the group, still half a mile away, leads you through a stretch of marsh, you pass by a gentle hill that barely rises above the surrounding bog. A field of jagged rocks separates the hill from the marsh, and a murky pool lies among the rocks on one side. As you draw near to the hill, it's base just 40 feet away, you notice that it's covered with small mud huts clustered around an open space at the top of the hill. Standing in the middle of the open space, about 60 feet away from you, is an important looking man, wearing hide armor and leaning on a spear with a stout club hanging at his side. Sharing the open space with the man is a wooden cage wherein three figures seem to be huddled in the cold. The rest of the inhabitants of the village seem to be away on some errand about the bog or snug in their huts on this cold afternoon.
The man gazes out at you, seeming to disapprove of your presence. "Go back half-elven sir!" he calls out to you. "Thee art not welcome hither. Taketh thy bumbling ways back to the city from whither thee cameth!"
Ulben, the bog-man clearly doesn't want you to pass by his village, but retracing your steps and finding another way around will add an hour to your journey.
(OOC - ah sorry, no, still with Tarek searching for water and then returning with him as he said, a bit before sunset.)

(OOC - yeah I had imagined the last part coming back, my bad. Yeah, Anakis’ water is out so she’s helping Tarek to find some more.)

Anakis is following Tarek and helping him, so will defer to Tarek's decision but am happy to go further for the chance of water.
Ulben would spend no more than 2 hours.
Not sure what you want me to roll, so I'll just do a 20, and add what ever you need me to, if needed.

(Ah, okay Aluzira probably wouldn't have asked about the water yet then lol)
You can add your Intelligence bonus to that and your proficiency bonus if you're proficient in Nature, Ulben. The DC is 20.
So that's going to stay at a 17

Tarek is willing to stick to his original plan of searching until about an hour before sunset.
Okay Tarek, make a DC 10 Wisdom (Survival) check, with advantage because Anakis is helping you, to see if you find any water during your search.
Alright. Survival: 17

What do you do?
Anakis will also fill her flask as well, for some extra water.
You can do that, but the total is still just two gallons. That's all that was available.
Ulben, the bog-man clearly doesn't want you to pass by his village, but retracing your steps and finding another way around will add an hour to your journey.
What do you do?
"I wish to pass, and find my friends, unless you have meet my wife, she is a half elf, named Thea" Ulben yells to the bog-man.
