The laughter can be heard in the corridor, but because of the echoes, it seems to come from both directions. The sound interrupts the silence only briefly, and then everything is quiet again. Anyone who is still only partway down the chimney can hear the sound of the laughter coming up the chimney from the corridor faintly, while anyone still on the upper level doesn’t hear it at all.
Aluzira chuckles at Anakis’ exclamation. “Why do you hate bugs?” she asks curiously, following her down the corridor. She jumps a little at the sound of laughter, although somewhat used to it’s eerie presence.
Anakis tries to focus in on the laughter but can't quite make out its origin. She turns to Aluzira and puts a finger to her lips, whispering "Bugs bite and itch and get everywhere. I don't like the look of this if there is giant bugs down here. Should we set it all on fire? To get rid of the bugs?" Then turns her attention back down the corridor, searching for some idea of what is down the corridor.
Ahead in the darkness, you can see another great stone chair, this one on a dais and clearly intended as a throne. Nearby is an old lamp hanging from a post. When taken together, the throne, lamp, and fireplace give the impression of a rest-stop for a person of great importance who may have taken a long journey through this long featureless tunnel.

"That looks interesting," Anakis says, tugging on Aluzira's sleeve and pointing to the throne. "Mr. Buttons, have you seen anything like this before? I mean you and your friends have explored down here a bit, right?" She waits a moment but then curiosity gets the better of her and she creeps further down the corridor to the throne (Stealth: 20).
“Just that chair upstairs that the ghost said was made for Queen Akuna,” Remacle says, approaching the throne with his torch. “Maybe this one was made for Queen Akuna too, to give her a place to sit on her way down to the underworld.”
Anakis creeps into the room with the throne, pausing to look around the room. Then over to the throne to see if anything rests on it like the scroll on the throne upstairs.
“Ah, I see. I don’t think we should light it up though it could send toxins into the air...” Aluzira follows Anakis through the corridor, then with a bit of awe says “It must’ve taken a long time to carve these thrones...”
The throne area isn't really in a separate room. It's part of the same corridor you're all in. The seat of the throne is bare. Which way do you all go?

“I think so,” Aluzira says with a nod. “I just want to look for something really quick.” Aluzira says looking as closely as she can for any signs of Huds presence here.
At the base of the throne, around the back, facing the wall, you see a simple, line carving symbolizing the torso of a man whose head and face are covered by a large hood.
“Thanks for the help!” Aluzira cheerfully as they look around the throne. She stoops down to get a close look at it frowning a bit. “I should have asked her what he looked like. Do you think this was him?”
Anakis looks at the carving, "Maybe, but it could be..." her voice trails off and she shrugs as she considers whether it might be her patron as well. "Well, in any case, we must be on the right track. I mean, why have somewhere to rest otherwise?"
“Agreed,” Aluzira says with a nod, standing up. “Could you take the lead again? My vision doesn’t work as well as your in the dark,” she adds with a small laugh.

Anakis chuckles and nods. She continues stealthily down the corridor, watching out for traps and creatures as she goes (Stealth: 13 and Perception: 9).
After traveling along the corridor for some time past piles of refuse teeming with different varieties of fungi, you can see up ahead in the dark, the main corridor intersects with a five-foot wide hallway that is open to the left and right.
(DM Question - just to clarify, the laughter seems to come down through the shaft we had just come down, or from the rafters above in this corridor?)

(OOC - ah, my bad. Misread that.)
Anakis hops up the throne and looks back down the way the group has come, then further ahead. "Keep going?" she asks the others.

Seeing Aluzira search around the throne, Anakis offers to help look around the throne.

Anakis creeps up to the intersection and looks down the left and right corridors, listening and looking for any signs of life (Perception: 10).
