The two of you go up the stair and you find yourselves in another large room.
Just as you put your last step'on the upper level the disembodied voice of a female elf fills the tavern with a melancholy song, giving the establishment its name. The ballad isn’t loud enough to disrupt conversation, but most patrons stop speaking when the elfsong begins.
Those who speak Elvish can understand the lyrics, which lament an unnamed lover lost at sea.
For some reason this song seems to unsettle the regulars. They look at each other in askance and a few even glance at the owner for reassurance.
There are a few table but only one with people. They seem to be playing a game of Baldur's Bones. There are three men, all humans, and a girl who might have fey or devil's blood.
The owner is always happy to have someone out on a show for his customers and will gladly give for food and drinks for free if the performance is good.
"You seem an approachable lady, I'll let you do the talking. I'll just hang back and keep an eye on the others"His compliment genuine, Fin encourages Elvira to start the conversation with their contact. He takes a small step back, further emphasising his choice.
"Thank you." Elvira mumbled towards Fin. She waited until the round of Baldur's Bones was completed before stepping towards the group. A wide, friendly smile was plastered on her face, while she casually placed a hand on her hip. She quickly looked around the group at the table, checking for their weapons before speaking. "Greetings, gents. I hate to break up your game, but can I borrow Tarina for a little while? We have a little business to discuss, but it won't take long."

Jagger, all the more uncomfortable indoors, stays near the door, nervously glancing around. The elf song calms his nerves slightly, as he recalls a certain elf from his past with a sad smile.

Fin
Fin stands a couple of steps behind Elvira, as if he were more a body guard than a colleague. With his most uncaring look he listens intently to the tieflings response. Anyone watching carefully might see him shifting his weight form one foot to the other, nervously. I really hope these powerful friends aren't the ones sitting around the games table.
Down below in the common room the door of the inn opens in a large bang and a group of sailors swagger in. There a 6 of them and leading them is an archetype what a pirate looks like. Tricorne hat, sash, and unbottoned vest. He has a saber to the side.
He gets the to center of the room as his friends move to either sides.
"Well me fellaz. I got me a thirst to fill an ocean wouldn't quench and a lady called Tarina to find. Anyone wants a trade."
"That's not one of them, I assume." Elvira glanced over her shoulder, towards the stairs. Her attention quickly turned back to the woman. "Look, we're Fist, and we don't have any qualms with you. You help us, and we can help you. It can be that easy."

"Sorry m"lady, I believe my mistress here is referring to Captain Zodge of the Fist. He is the one that sent us. Perhaps we can help you with this other captain down stairs." He tries to sound as official and guard-like as possible, not wanting to correct his mistress.
Seeing the obvious pirate enter Alucard stops his music and looks to the captain “A thirst you say then it sound like you need it quenched! Turning to the tavern owner eyes flashing a warning look he says loudly trying to alert the others upstairs who might not of heard the commotion “BarKeep! A round of drinks on me for these fine gentlemen here!” Then back to the captain. “You say you’ve lost a girly well not to worry gents I’m sure their is plenty ripe for the picks in this town! What did you say er name was again Tamina Tallenana? Whats she done? Stole your heart then run off without a word? Typical but not to worry a strong drink and a good night in a tavern will clear ya right up!”

Begger rises and walks over to Jagger and with a wink says, "Something tells me some folks here need to meet Lathander. I wonder if they'll let me introduce them."
He turns and tries to stand in as intimidating pose as possible.
Tarina looks at Elvira and some kind of relief passes through her face. She turns her head toward Fin and nods her understanding.
" OK, get me out of here and I ll tell you what you want to know." She has a wild look in her eyes. "
Down stairs:
The captain laughs with Amea, " No , Girly you ain't the one.. too pretty to be such ... well you know what I mean."
Seeing that drinks are coming the captain and his boys sit with Alucard. " Tarina's her name. She stole something of mine .. very sentimental-like thing .. "

"Indeed I would expect so with the news of the out side world so grim but hopefully a bit of song wit assist in raising their spirits."
With a quick flourish of his viola he starts up the song of the traveler.

The crowd downstairs send some applause to the viola player.
Tarina smiles a toothy grin, the filed teeth clearly there to be off putting.
" If you are here for Captain Hithris tell him to buzz off. I don't have any money for his like and I have powerful friends now."

Tarina answers Elvira with a raised highbrow.
"The friends I m talking about are the Guild and the Fists.." she stops as you all here the captain calling out Tarina's name.
She looks a little paler if that's possible.
"Oh well then youve come to the right place." Amea grins "Bar is right there, and I might be the girl you're looking for." Amea sips her drink
