"Seems we are in then." Brocc says with a nod of his head. "As we don't have anything currently, we will take our leave and start looking into things." He pauses before turning though. "Do you pay us at the start of the week, or at the end of it...?"
"Sounds like a very fine arrangement your ladyship, but it seems in all the talk of business, we never did make proper introductions. Hello, I am Hatch, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Hatch gives a polite bow and cheerful smile.
" Well! That is all I require you my collect your first payment from Sammo at the door on your way out."
" Toodles.", she called over her shoulder as she began climbing the stairs again.
Looking towards the door you see the butler has somehow materialised there and is holding a black velvet bag rather gingerly in one hand with the other indicating the open door....
"Wasn't too concerned with names." Brocc says with a shrug. "Nor did she seem to care about them either." He heads towards the door. Taking the pouch from the man there, he stuffs it into his pack, then heads for the door.
The gardener met them at the door overhearing their conversation, " Her Ladyship doesn't care to learn the names of those who work for her except for Sammo, of course."
" I have been here 15 years and I doubt she knows my face."
" You of course know her name though? Lady Francesca de la Vette is a very well known figure."
" Come, I will escort you to the gate."
You make your ways down the path and back to the gate which the gardener locks behind you after collecting the yellow vests.
Once out of the grounds, Brocc climbs onto his spider mount, the contraption rising up onto its eight legs. Brocc pats the metal body and glances to the others. "So we stopping for anything in regard to those supplies, or do we just head out?"
"I think I'm still a little too short to afford plate armor yet. And there's nothing else I'm really saving for. I'm good with finding some work to do or some good to perform." Hatch is a very simple, straight forward man really when you get right down to it.

Zeltheris nods cheerfully, "Off we go to compose the next tale! Where are we going?"
(sorry, wasn't online at all since last Thursday)

She smiled indulgently at Hatch.
" Charmed, I'm sure."

"So...did I miss the part where our new employer told us her name or...?" He definitely feels like he missed it somewhere...
"Wasn't too concerned with names." Brocc says with a shrug. "Nor did she seem to care about them either." He heads towards the door. Taking the pouch from the man there, he stuffs it into his pack, then heads for the door.
Zeltheris grins, "Mysterious patroness works better in stories anyway."
Herman agrees with less words possible,
He raises his shoulders and then his thumb up.
He is ready to go, searching something in his nostril in the meantime
Shrugs, also collecting the payment for services yet to be rendered. "Well...maybe now I can finally afford that plate armor..."

"I need some half-plate, but not sure we can afford that yet." Brocc speaks up.
"talking about supplies, how long can be the travel?"
Ooc: asked also to the DM if any of us knows it, at least roughly
(I may have missed it, how much did we get just now, each?)
I think it was 30 gold each.
( Yep 150/week for the group)
OOC: Roughly 5 days on foot SE across the The Windward Plain.

"supplies for 10 days, let's say 14, is the first thing"
Zeltheris thinks for a moment, "I could use some better armor as well as supplies, though I hope not to need it in the company of such heroes."
