This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Sorry to force a backtrack, but reaction abilities are tricky like that in pbp.) Zeltheris will notice the one rider start to shake off the effect and call out to him, "I wonder, do those feathers tickle?"

(So does Brocc take 9 damage then or 10? You rolled attack and damage twice, which i assumed meant the barbarian had two attacks. if not, then which damage should I use. The attack hits as it was a 23 and a 24 with the two disadvantage rolls, so just need to know which damage to use.)

That got all messed up somehow, not sure how. The 19 to hit is the lance attack. You can use either of the others for the force rend attack from the spider, either is going to miss so it doesn't matter.
Banzo desperately tried to take control of the griffon but it seemed to have very definite opinions about where it wanted to go and ignored the turtle-person on its back as it flew northwards...
Hatch clambered up the rope and onto the griffons back taking hold of the lashing that had held the rider there, once it could no longer see him the griffon seemed to forget he was there and began flying northward following the one bearing Banzo.
Zeltheris regarded the group of former riders as they formed up in the middle of the open area within the barricades.
Shalana again struck at the man before Herman and themselves and the man fell to the ground unconcious beside his snoozing mount.
Herman advanced slowly towards the assembled barbarians in the centre of the stockades.
Brocc struck at the barbarian attacking him and the man stumbled back and out of reach of the constructs follow up, " Parley! Parley!", he grunted in annoyance looking back at his fellows.
The remaining Hill Folk levelled their bows at the unseated barbarians.
"Why should we listen to you now?" Brocc asks with a glare. "I asked to parley prior to any of this business, but you simply ignored me." He sighs though and lowers his lance. "No one here has your stupid crown, and you are attacking the wrong people. None of this is getting whatever this crown is back for you, as you are murdering innocent folk for no good reason."
Zeltheris makes a shushing gesture to Shalana, "Not helpful right now." Turning back to the others, "What is this crown and why did you believe these people had it?"

" Aye, You did. But that was back when I thought we had a decent chance of cleaning you up."
" Didn't realise you had a Head-Witch that'd make folks throw themselves off of perfectly good griffons for no reason."
" Now you say they don't have the crown....but if I'd stolen a crown thats what I'd say too."
He looked about a little nonplussed.
" But yeah....you'd think they'd be living a bit better if they had that much gold available..."
If Banzo is still flying north on the back of a griffon:
He will take a huge gulp of air as he looks around and seeing he doesn't know the first thing about controlling a flying mount he whips his cloak off and tries to wrap it over the griffons head. If successful he hopes the mighty beast will follow any signal he gives it.
(Animal Handling (if necessary?): 8 )
"WHOA! Calm down! Turn back!"
Hatch watches Banzo attempt to throw his cloak over the griffons head, it does stop the huge beast which hovers in the air beating its huge wings unwilling to fly forward with its vision obscured.....but it has certainly remembered that Banzo is there....it begins thrashing its head back and forth trying to remove the cloak.
Hatchs griffon takes note of the strange commotion and wings its way closer to watch....
"Blood is an excellent lubricant and polish," buzzes Shalana.
Zeltheris makes a shushing gesture to Shalana, "Not helpful right now." Turning back to the others, "What is this crown and why did you believe these people had it?"
The warrior speaking turned from Brocc towards Zeltheris, the other warriors remained where they were covered by the Hill Folks bows.
" The crown is the guarantee of kingship over our clans, without it our king has no true claim over the other headmen or the aeries.....there will be war if we do not secure it. A Hill Folk trading group of the Feldspar Blood visited us at Talonstone and were given favourable exchanges that their kind should be thankful for....but the next morning they were gone and so was the crown..."
" So we've been raifing Hill Folk holdings until they give it back."
Herman looks around at the faces, he wonders aloud
"wait a second, where is our tortle?!"
He feels very tired now
Looking north he narrows his eyes and sees the riderless griffons disappearing into the distance but there are two griffons that seem to bear riders that have stopped in mid-air some 8,000 feet up and an hour or so by foot north.
Sure you rolled these with disadvantage?
Barbarian vs Brocc. Disadvantaged Attack: 23 Damage: 10
Barbarian vs Brocc. Disadvantaged Attack: 24 Damage: 9

Cutting words, -6 to his saving throw.
( It's one Attack. )
Having but moments to spare Hatch would try to climb up the rope and leap atop the griffon, hopefully sparing himself a really bad fall!
Athletics (to climb rope/leap up onto griffon): 11

Attack: 19 Damage: 10
Attack: 18 Damage: 10
^^^ (Accidently hit post before i finished the post...) Brocc strikes at the barbarian with his lance.
Then he has his mount attack as well...
Attack: 24 Damage: 9

Herman put his hands in his face. He keeps following the evolution of the griffons, leaving the others parley.
ANyway, he'd think it is hillfolk's turn to speak now
ooc: has any of us ever know of this Feldspar Blood clan?
