(OOC@dndpro100: Enwynn was assuming that the King would want the party along as guides for the dwarven expedition, but he may not want a series of vengeful demons to contend with while investigating the academy ruins. She will have to inform him of the curse's specific effects and see what his decision is IC. If the party does not wish to accompany the dwarven expedition, the demon marks effects might be enough to convince him to change his mind about it.)
"now more than ever this returned warlock is a threat and must be dealt with for many a reason but first" , looking at the priest "I wonder, do you have some healing or other potions to spare or to buy?"
" Whats that? Potions? No...never had the skill for it myself. Though I can heal any of you who need it. Your best off trying the Apothecary."
"Yes, let's give the King all details we've learned bout these cursed demon marks and see what he says."
Banzo follows Herman and the others as they return to the King.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Caldwin accompanies them upstairs as they come across King Gillibran discussing plans with the other elder dwarves.
As the companions and Caldwin relate their situation he nods along, " Best your on your way then methinks. No offence meant, but we've enough troubles here with Hill Trolls and Dark Elves....not to mention Zagors new pet has been seen flying overhead a few times...."
" I can chat with the our tower dwelling friend to send a message your way if we have need of you."
He chuckles and calls over a bespectacled dwarf holding a large red leather bag and from it withdraws a fistful of diamonds and hands two to each of you.
"Your generosity is legendary your royal highness."
Banzo follows Herman and the others to the apothecary.

Enwynn seems most grateful for her colleague's support in explaining the situation in light of the new understanding to King Gillibran, even as she is frustrated by the implications of that information towards the party's chances of assisting the dwarven expedition.
She looks more concerned at the King's opinion that the great burgundy beast seen in flight over the forest is Zagor's pet, but simply nods in agreement with that surmise.
The elf says in an apologetic tone "I appreciate your understanding in this matter, your majesty. If we cannot aid your expedition now, we may yet make ourselves useful elsewhere."then adds in a more determined way "Hopefully in finding out just what the warlock is up to this time while we hunt out the means to undo the curse."
She shrugs away her frustration and concludes "Still, better that we ruin his hall than yours if it comes to fighting unwelcome guests." with a sardonic smile.
The druidess accepts the two diamonds with a delighted smile and says "A gift greater than gold, myriad in it's uses. My thanks for your wisdom and your generosity, your majesty. If you have need of us, we will return swiftly if called."
Enwynn studies the bespectacled bag-holder a moment, and smiles again, as she notes the lenses they wear gleam as brightly as the diamonds in her hand.
Before she departs for the apocathery with her comrades, she turns to Caldwin and says "Corwyn has reminded me that we owe thanks to the diamond eyed mother and her foresight in having priests well versed in ancient lore among her treasures."
The crow on her shoulder alights to the floor in front of the preist, settles their feathers and presents him a small polished fossil held gently in their beak. It is a tiny spiral shell, now turned to harder stone by time and glitters in the light of the hall's many torches with flashes of blue and green light from the opal incursion hidden in it's deeper crevices.
That done, Enwynn bows deeply, then leaves with her comrades in search of sturdy jars and cannisters, and healing herbs that might be turned to greater purpose with the right knowledge.
The companions leave the stone hall and head back down hill taking a turn at the sign towards Quarry Path as directed by a helpful dwarven street sweeper.
They arrive at the doors of Artho Granitenoses Apothecary and head inside the small stone reinforced building. The youngish dwarf behind the counter has extremely luxuriant blond eyebrows below a tanned forehead and an enormous shock of bushy hair of the same colour.
" How can I help you?"
( The apothecary gets most of its rarer supplies from Yaztromo so it is rather well stocked for a store outside the major metropolises.
All Common and Uncommon potions are available ( All potions cost standard rates). There is a 50% chance of rare potions. 25% chance of very rare. And a 5% chance of anything above that.)
Roll a d100 to determine availability of individual potions.)
"Morning, the king and the wise priest sent us here, saying you can have, among other things, even the right phial container or whatnot to contain some elemental essence"
"Yes, that's right. If you can help us that would be greatly appreciated. As our friend Herman said we need them to be able to contain and hold elemental essences."
Banzo looks left and right, up and down, at all the various paraphernalia that line the shelves and rest on tables and such. He is both impressed and envious by the display.

" Too right I have, thats some wizard stuff that is."
He reached under the counter and brought out four sturdy platinum containers about two fists high, and two large jars formed of white quartz.
"May I?" Banzo asks as he moves and motions to examine the containers a little closer. A more hands on examination if you will.
(If allowed to examine the goods to verify it is what we need after all, then Banzo will pick one up and have a closer look at it.)
"Yes, they will do nicely."
(If not allowed to touch the merchandise or examine it more closely, then Banzo will inquire further.)
"Have they been tested? I mean we need to be sure they will do the job, we might not get another chance."

" Excellent, that will be 50....ah, with Ms. Ennwyn....lets say 30 gold each. Those are platinum so I'm making a loss there."
((30 gp taken away from inventory))
Herman asks for 2 potions of haste
5, 41
" Sorry, Sir. That is a very rare brew and unfortunately I'm all out."
