The little strange women starts chanting in Celestial again. She pulls out the paper Shalana gave her. She kisses it as if giving away a precious object. As she chants, it dissipates into the air in bright radiant light. Her eyes turn white with glowing light.
Shalana, Garet, and Herman hear whispering in their ears but can’t quite make out what is being said. Some of their clothing seems to rustle, a cloak moves, as if from a breeze, but there is no wind.

"I am Herman, of the wolf tribe, as you well assumed. are we heroes?! well, that's what we are called in Chalice, yes. If you are here to help us, we welcome you, Tzedaka, priest of Libra", he says in ill-concealed pride.
Garet picks up on the atmosphere, but with the information Shalana provided it is little wonder they are scared.
Garets thinks clearly about a plan of action "A little information could do us no harm and maybe a guide," Taking on board what Banzo said perhaps we should try both suspecting that Banzos garrulous personality would be better suited to the merchant Inn whilst Garets dark brooding may gain more results in the other.
"Herman and our new friend can consult the gods, and the rest maybe divide against the other two taverns and report back. In the meantime I'd be interested in any merchant wares."
Garet the diamonds jangling in his pockets hoped he could pick up a cloak of protection the closer he got to Firetop mountain the more he felt he would require it.
"Ok, we split up for now. Whoever feels like they can work a crowd better can join me in Hullgrim's Alehouse. The rest can try The Two Moons tavern, and secure rooms for us there also, we're gonna need some place to sleep tonight before moving on in the morning."
Banzo approaches Hullgrim's Alehouse and takes a deep breath before entering.

Tzedaka and (??Shalana, or Enwynn??) will find a Temple of Libra, then meet at the alehouse.
( Ok, interpreting from above statements-
Tzedaka, Shalana and Enwynn will head to The Two Moons Tavern
Zeltheris, Herman, Banzo and Garet will head to the Alehouse and its Merchant clientele.
The small shrines are all there are there are no Temples here. The shrine to Libra is at the entry to an alleyway next to a greengrocers bound on either side by a shrine to Glantanka, The Mother Sun, and Hamaskis, The God of Learning.)
Tzedaka, Shalana and Enwynn you enter the Two Moons. The chatter inside dies down quickly to a low murmur and the customers eye you as you walk up to the bar.
The barman stares at you sternly, and you can see by the look in his eyes that he is a proud man trying to hide his fear, but three young women.....well two young women and something mechanical with the semblance of one..are not his usual customers.
" Yes?", He grunts in a low voice.
" You don't look like the usual caravan guards we get here, too few scars and you look like you know what soap is.", he grinned wryly.
" Does the narne Zagor mean anything to you?',he asks softly, watching you closely for a reaction.
After a moment he nods, " Of course you do, all who live and travel in Allansia know the Warlock of Firetop Mountain, he's back from the dead."
Something about you, perhaps especially Tzedaka, keeps him talking, " Folk are disappearing, some say he's using them as donors to build himself a new body."
'We need help, strangers, most here are too proud to admit it and them travelling through just ignore it."
" None of us here has the power to defeat Zagor . . . but maybe you do. We are poor and cannot pay you what you deserve to take on such a task, but we do know that there are likely chests full of gold inside Firetop Mountain, stolen from the dwarves who dwelt there of old."
" Will you help us?"
By now the tavern is now silent. Alleyes are upon you.
." I can offer a hot bath and a room for the nightl', the barman says eagerly. " And an open tab."
Zeltheris, Herman, Banzo and Garet you enter Hullgrims Alehouse and find it packed with merchants dressed in finery and sturdy travelling cloaks and mercenaries in polished. though dusty, leather and scale armour. Most of the conversation is about the upcoming Contest of Champions in Fang, many seem to be planning to lay large bets on the outcome of The Walk.
Zeltheris slips through the crowd spinning tales and singing songs to the delight of many, Banzo finds himself at the bar beside a silk merchant and a purveyor of quality chamberpots and other ceramic items. Herman finds a number of barbarians of other clans working as caravan guards to converse with and Garet zeros in on a long bearded fellow sitting alone at a table using a hookah flanked by two guards dressed from head to foot in maille armour with full face helms that disguise their features.
As Tzedaka enters, the glow of the lights in the room seems warmer, brighter, especially near her (She softens harsh lanterns and subtly changes their color to be more yellow, calming)
She looks around the room for any that don't seem frightened, that don't fit the fearful poor village folk she has seen here (A Zagor sympathizer or spy?)
She reaches out to the desperate man with genuine concern and touches his hand and removes her gray hood, revealing her silver hair and stunning appearance. (Heroism on the barkeep)
"We have hherd of Zagor. He is terrible man!" She smiles at him, trying to calm him and others in the room that are frightened, exuding confidence and calmness.
(Prior to this, Tzedaka will visit a shrine of Libra. She will pray there and see if she can ascertain anything and gain any more information, that can help her new friends, they have so many questions she does not know the answers to. She will pray for knowledge, strength, and to try to ascertain why the people here are so frightened)
"Allow me to buy you a drink fellow traveler as I can't imagine you've made many sales in a small village like this. Many here seem spooked by tales of Zagor. Have you heard any news of him on the road?"
(after a few swigs of ale)
"Or of anything strange happening around here lately?"
Banzo turns and leans back on the bar to better view the room full of people.
"Say, do you sell them monogrammed silk handkerchiefs? I've been thinking of upgrading my style."

" Strange? Around here? I wouldn't know, this is simply a waystation on the road between Fang and Salamonis."
" Handkerchiefs.....I do. Do you wish to purchase?"
"I go by Banzo and yes I could make use of some. How much do they go for? And is there a discount for a multiple purchase?"
Banzo reaches for his coin pouch.
"Tell me Damrong, what's the most interesting thing you've heard about Zagor?"

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tzedeka smiles at the man again, continuing to hold his hand in reassurance with her small hand. "Ah, Moose..." She pauses for a moment in thought. "I am...Tzedaka. I am here for...you."
"May the blessing of Libra be upon you and your house. You are good man, and you seek help and justice for cruel acts of Zagor." As she touches him, she exudes a warm light, warming his hands. She has no fear, only confidence and gentleness. Her smile and blue eyes hypnotic and contagious.
"You need brave ones to do work like dis." She looks at Shalana and Enwyn, understanding that she does not speak for the group of heroes as a newcomer.
She continues to look around the room for anyone who is not scared, seems out of place, or is a spy for the enemy. As she looks, if an area of the room is darker, she will adjust the lights/ candles to be a bit brighter as she looks around, not that she needs it with darkvision, but to help encourage those who would be uncomfortable being out of the shadows to show themselves as such (Perception?: 11
(OOC: I'm not sure if Shalana and Enwyn are NPC's now or playing, so I'll wait for other PC's)

The tavern patrons appear to be a smattering of locals and caravan guards, the residents of Anvil are definitely afraid....the guards much less so, they don't live here...not their problem.
She does note one corner of the tavern where no one is sitting, in fact people seem to be actively avoiding it.
It seems there are no visible spies or turncoats here at least...
Tzedaka will look to Enwyn and Shalana to see if they will stay the night here. She smiles again and walks over to area where no one is sitting. There, she casually looks for signs of a fight, blood, damage, and of course evil. She also observes the guards further, and as she is very friendly and charismatic, will sit with some of the locals and "calm" them as best she can. (she will touch them and put Heroism on them).
She will also try to get more rumors, particularly if anyone has in the establishment has actually lost their own family member. "Chav you lost one you luvd to Zagor?" (She will ask to some, seeing if anyone has real evidence, not just rumors)
"Hmm, if he's minting his own coins he must be planning something big... and permanent."
Banzo glances at the porcelain merchant, "Forgive me my manners friend, what are you drinking? I am Banzo and was wondering what news you've brought to Anvil?"
Banzo also takes out some coins to purchase more drinks from the barkeep before replacing his coin pouch.

Of those who know people who have lost family most do not know what occured, some speak of armoured goat headed creatures emerging from the dark and one old man tells of the taking of his grandchild....
" ......it was a bloated creature three metres tall and almost two metres wide. It seemed a little like a Giant Toad but was far bigger. It had green horned skin on its back and a soft, yellowish underbelly, covered with red spots. A large head and a wide mouth with two rows of long, spiked teeth, while two bulbous red eyes protrude above slimy nostrils. It had powerful arms and sharp-clawed hands the size of Dragon's feet. It reached through the window and snatched him from his bed....."
As usual, she will calm the person talking about the strange creature.

She casts light to light up the area brighter, and will change the color slightly (like a UV light), trying to sense what is wrong with this area, why it is being avoided, including looking for blood or any signs of violence.
