“He vos good man” she states, nodding in understanding, focused on his kind heart. As she learns more of the villagers losses, she begins to get a stronger sense of Zagor’s evilness and his cruel impact on these innocent people. Each story makes her more determined for justice.
Enwynn listens, her face gravely concerned as her mind sifts the information from the tragedies related, but says only "There said to be creatures of chaos that are not twisted by evil, but these may not be such creatures."
She ponders if she may have been mistaken about the eye colour of the giant toads back at the bridge, and racks her brain for any clue as to the goat-headed warriors and the grotesque dragon-toed toad that snatches children among the writings of the scholars of Salamonis
OOC: History check and Arcana check for Enwynn, but I'll leave the rolls to the GM.

Ennwyn knows that Chaos is often seeded into those creatures whose gods are easily distracted or do not pay attention allowing the Dark Gods to creep in and insert their influence, the hircine creatures she has had no personal contact with and the toad-thing is even less known...though they do seem at least somewhat more...viable...than the majority of chaospawn....and are likely fairly powerful as a result...
( Any further converstions in either establishment can be had in ' flashback' form.)
Rooms are arranged, at no cost, in The Two Moons and the companions settle in for a well earned rest, though if you wish to set watches feel free to do so.
As the ladies settle down for the night, Ennwynn and Shalana may learn more about their new companion. Things the men might not observe with separate bedrooms. She has never slept in a bed (or at least has no recollection of such), she has never been in a bath. In fact, everything seems new to her, like it is her first experience. Even eating different types of foods is a flavor explosion for her senses. She imitates what the others do to learn what their actions and behaviors (holding a fork, cutting food, bathing, etc.) Indeed, Tzedaka has some interesting mentors. in addition, she has two wounds still from the trolls. She apparently did not think to heal herself, although her prayer of healing helped. She has no other scars on her body. Her skin is perfect...new.
Shalana takes no note of any peculiarities or difference on Tzedakas part, if not engaged in conversation she simply sits in the corner methodically loading small sheets of parchment from her satchel into a compartment in her side.
Banzo is going to try and get a circle formed of the patrons where each can dish in turn something about Zagor.
"What's this I hear about him trying to start minting his own coinage?"

"" If you see someone spending gold with a stylized Z on it thats likely one of his lot, or they killed some of his lot."
" I mean between the dwarves and the dragons there was a lot of gold in that mountain....I suppose its one use of it...."
A dwarven caravan guard overhears, " Begging your pardons, Masters and Gentlemen. Sorry to overhear but I've come across a few of those coins in the pockets of folks trying to waylay wagons north of Anvil. Now I know where they are from."
Damrong Rajanubhab looked down his nose at the guard but mused, " So he has actual people working for him then? Not just strange beasts and Hashak spawn?"
Some of the other caravan guards turn their half- and man-orc faces in the merchants direction at the last phrase with distinctly unfriendly looks, the dwarf gives them a crooked smile shakes his head vaguely.
The merchant folk begin retiring to their private quarters leaving the bar now about half filled with guards, wagon drivers and others.....soon they begin to drift away as well.
A man dressed in rough-spun clothes with a weather-beaten face approachs Banzo, "' You been asking a lot of questions about the Master of Firetop, any particular reason for that? I know he's got scaled folk working for him....don't know about shelled folk but theres lizard folk in the Mountain these days."
"So he's hiring outsiders," Banzo finishes the last of his drink before turning his attention back to the stranger, "have you ever heard of 'The Heroes of Chalice?'"
"Maybe 'The Heroes of Chalice' will be paying Zagor a visit to settle all scores."

Banzo stands and readies himself to take leave.
"Well, I should get some sleep."

The sun rises over Anvil, with no reports of nightly raids. The merchant caravans are already preparing to leave and The Two Moons is a bustle of caravan guards finishing off their breakfasts and local shopkeepers and artisans enjoying a morning brew or tea.
Moose is happily polishing tables and greets the companions as they come downstairs.
Shalana hands him a tract about cleanliness of mind, body and surroundings which he takes with bemusement.
Zeltheris sits at a table a pensive look on his face...
Tzedaka wakes refreshed and full of her usual energy. After getting dressed, she heads downstairs and walks into the main area, smiling at the patrons. (the light from some of the candles brightens when she walks in and the sounds of a gentle breeze with chirping of birds can be heard) She sees a few patrons sipping on coffee and tea. She tries the coffee, makes a bitter face, and immediately spits it back in the cup. Then she tries some herbal tea and seems satisfied. She walk over to Zeltheris and gives him a hug (like a child hugging a parent). “Challo Zeltheris,”she smiles dreamily at him, her royal blue eyes looking into his. As usual, she is stunning, even in the morning. “Vhy so somber?”
Banzo collects a cup of tea before joining the others at the table.
"So, I guess we're going up Firetop mountain to confront Zagor today?"

Not finding anything in the quiet corner, she goes back to the barkeep. "Mooseee, Vhy does no von use diss area?"
" Oh, thats old Targans corner, he was taken a while back. That table damn near belonged to him it'll be a while before anyone local sits there."
“Tell me about Targan. Vot type of man vas he?”
" Old. Grouchy. Cheap. But he had a good heart. Did a lot of odd jobs for folks that needed it."
Tzedaka smiles, getting a sense of the person.

In the boys room sit Garet, Zeltheris and Herman, Banzo is still chatting at the bar across the way.
Zeltheris is struggling to find ryhmes for troll that aren't already overused....

"Maybe 'The Heroes of Chalice' will be paying Zagor a visit to settle all scores."
The man screwed up his face, " Heroes of Chalice? Can't say I have but this is as far south as I've been for a spell."
" Last lot of Heroes that went into Firetop killed the old bastard...maybe these new ones can do same."
