The companions new and old hew into the Trolls, Herman in particular cutting down two of them and staggering a third, the others finish it off and the last remaining Troll desperately batters at one of the walls before it disappears under a pile of ravening wolves.
The chamber is quiet other than the sounds of feeding wolves and some slight groans and winces from those that were injured.
After a few more moments the wolves sink back into the stone that birthed them...
The small woman seems to step up/ float onto one of the tables. The floating scales of justice above her. Her face grows still, almost inanimate. Her eyes turn completely white, glowing with light. There is a strong breeze, then a feeling of air and sound leaving the room as it seems to visibly darken and grow silent.
In an almost trance-like voice, she speaks softly, but her voice captures the attention of all in the room.
"Five trools find people in de night and bring dem chere. In a dark room, de victims vaited. Four minions of evil, dressed in black and purple prepare prisoners for de ritual. Dey feed you, and keep you strong. After a time, dey came in and take de first. In de distance, der are chanting, screams....den....nothing. Den after you sleep, anoter vere taken. Ian Stonewall and Leigh Eas, you vere next to be ritually sacrifysed. Your organs and bodies harvested. Like pieces of a puzzle, Zagor the Warlock of Firetop Mountain vould use your parts to rebeeld his body. His powers grows each day. Zagor needs de arm of an elf, your arm. Leigh, you vere dying dis day. Ian, de next.
Zagor seeks to dominate all of Allansia and Titan itself.
Now, your destinies are unclear and you each face a choice.
Do you join with de Cheroes of Chalice and Justice to destroy de evil in dis place, or do you leave dis mountain of fire and death under the influence of de demon, Shakor, (she spits) and his pet, Zagor and go back to your life before you were captured, knowing that soon, Zagor's power will dominate your homes, your friends, your families, and death vill visit.
De choice is for each of you to make."
The beautiful small silver-haired woman takes a deep breath. Her eyes turn back to a vibrant royal blue, color returns to her face, and the dank air of this place and the smell of the dead again flows. She leans on Enwynn so as not to fall, her stance a bit unsteady and smiles at each of them.
Enwynn's face loses its furious expression as the elf calmly walks up, bows and says "My thanks, oh wolves of Erillia. I am sorry I could not find you better prey for you all to feast on." then leaves the pack to dine in peace.
The dark-haired druid looks about to see who requires a healer's aid. Her leaf-green eyes dart about her comrades, and the two newcomers as she asks "Were there any others in the room you came from?" but stops still as Tzedaka rises into the air.
"It's happening again..." Enwynn murmurs softly in concern but listens regardless, seeking to understand the message in the words spoken by the priestess of Libra, waiting ready to catch her if she falls.
"Are you with us, Tzedaka?" the elf woman asks gently, followed by a wry grin as she adds "As we have all just been reminded, we have a task we must complete, and not just for our own sakes."
Garet momentarily transfixed by Herman's show of lethal force, stands for a moment, blades still in hand, wondering whether the new arrivals were friend or foe.
He looked at them and whilst one one in a snake form he cast his mind back to them originally and their bedraggled forms he felt sure that if they were spies for Zagor they would appear more fair and be more foul.
Garets mind was more a less made up and he deactivated his blade deftly attaching it to his belt on the purpose made loops but keeping his dagger in hand.
Then Tzedaka did her thing and Garets doubts were erased, he watched as she slumped into Enwynn.
Garets thoughts went to how to progress and even though the Trolls were unlikely to have any useful information he would have welcome the chance to question them.
Instead he went through the bodies of the fallen looking for anything useful whilst still in the back of his mind he seemed determined to loop back for the sword and the box from the previous room.
"We could use all the help we can get against Zagor. At the very least you will get a chance at vengeance by joining with us and our efforts to oppose his evil."
Banzo finishes up and then after turning his head to look back the way they came, "Do you think that stuff could be something? The sword and box in the other room I mean."

"Shalana would sometimes need oiling when they got squeaky but I've never seen them motionless, except when at rest."
Banzo draws near and looks very concerned.
"Perhaps Shalana has just wound down, like what befalls some clockwork beings?"

Seeing the heroes looking over Shalana, Tzedaka runs over in concern. She touches her warforged friend with both hands and closes her eyes, the magically glowing stick, still lodged in the top Shalanas head.

Both are able to determine that there are still mechanisms moving within, though quite slowly....Ennwyn has never been this close to Shalana before but she, and Leigh, note that the metal work is truly ancient.

Banzo thinks back to when the automaton first joined them and the strange ways of interacting that she had......somewhat like Tzedaka, now that he thought of it....hadn't she mentioned something about being found or awakening? Perhaps she just has active and dormant cycles?

A small amount of tarnish flakes away but there seems to be no actual damage to heal....she is 'alive' and well...just not...active....
"I tink Shalana is ok, but.......re charge her energy", the worried Tzedaka says without certainty. "Should we leave her chere or bring chere outside?"
Enwynn looks and listens for the signs of life in a mechanical yet living being, glad of the second opinion from Leigh as she searches.
Banzo's thoughtful recollection of Shalana's finding raises hope as well as more questions in the elf's mind, but the matter seems to be beyond even Tzedaka's healing powers to remedy.
The druid cautiously says "There are still parts within her that move in their own way, but very slowly. She seems to be well, run down like a clockwork timekeeper..." then adds in a more cheerful tone "...But not dead."
"Thank you." she says looking to Leigh, Tzedaka and Banzo in turn as she stands up from the patient and offers "Perhaps Herman could help move her out of here to a safer place, closer to the way out of the mountain that we came in by? I do not wish to leave anyone alone in this gloomy place, but it will be difficult to carry her with us in this state while we do what needs to be done. If Herman cannot carry Shalana that far now, then we may have to leave her here and pick her up on the way out."'
Enwynn does not look happy about the situation, but cannot argue with the need for compromise in finding a solution in a crisis.

The snake contorts and cracks back to eleven form. Leigh observes the wolves for a few moments in appreciation and thanks them in Druidic.
Listening to the newcomers, Leigh nods in agreement as he picks up his makeshift weapon
”Aye, those that caged us need to be punished and cannot be permitted to inflict this evil onto others. I will lend you what aid I can.”
( You'll note the two former prisoners have nothing but the ragged clothes on their backs.)

Enwynn looks over to Shalana, only to discover that the metal woman lies utterly still, a state that concerns her greatly.
OOC: I don't know if Enwynn knows enough about Warforged to make this diagnosis with a Medicine check, but she'll give it a try anyway. 6
