Enwynn's anxious study of the local aquatic wildlife is abruptly curtailed by a more terrestrial threat in the form of a crossbow bolt. The elf crouches down lower in the boat, and ignores the quarrel for the moment in favor of pulling rope from her pack. An angry screech is heard as the druidess implores Erillia for a different kind of flight, but one equally feathered and sharp.
OOC: Enwynn casts Conjure Animal and summons eight giant owls.
Rust-winged and masked in ghostly white nocturnal hunters emerge silently from the air above her, masked barn owls of unusual size. Lacking the skills to tie a strong knot in a hurry, Ennwynn simply loops the rope around the oarsman's seat and asks two of the huge owls to grab the two ends of the rope and fly swiftly towards the shore as she hastily seats herself on the oarsman's seat for greater stability. Two more she sends to patrol over the water to aid the crocodile in intimidating any aquatic threats away from the boat, and the last four avian warriors she sends to deprive any unoccupied lizardfolk of their crossbows by force.

Two blasts of crackling energy appear out of seemingly nowhere as the saurian looks up just in time to note Tannins form hovering high above before they slam into his chest staggering him mightily.

Between the owls, Leighodile and Hermans frantic paddling the boat impacts with the black sandy shore. Herman leaps out of the boat in a rage and lands next to the rather panicked looking were-rat Ferry Man.
Two of the owls patrol over the water hooting in alarm as two sinuous white shapes slide across the surface towards Leigh....though whether they are drawn by the smell of crocodile or Razorfish remains to be seen.
To add to the chaos there is a sudden loud splash of water from somewhere in the dark near the mid-point of the river, though what it is remains hidden from all except Tannin.
Tannin-
A grotesque black hulk, a massive wormlike creature with a thick hide lined with deep grooves. Its eyeless head bears a gaping, blood-red maw studded with rows of dagger-like teeth. It waves its head back and forth as if tasting the air before sinking beneath the water again.
With the boat safely to shore, Leigh intended to swim after the ferry man only to see it had swam to shore and transformed to an appropriate form. Remaining as a crocodile, he rushes forward from the water onto land and attempts to bite and restrain the deceiver.
Once he feels the boat thud against the shore Banzo will cast Mirror Image from the bottom of the boat and then using half of his movement leap up and onto shore. He will move the other half of his movement toward the Lizardmen.
It would appear as if 4 tortles with hulking shells are storming the beach and then the structures where the Lizardmen emerged.

With the boat safely to shore, Leigh rushes forward from the water onto land and seizes the transformed Ferryman in his jaws.
The were-rat is seized by the jaws and panics somehow in its struggles managing to wedge itself even more securely between the huge teeth. It does claw relatively ineffectually at the saurian jaws around it.

Garet doesn't even blink at the fact that it is rapidly becoming a zoo, in here. Marveling at the talents of his comrades especially the display of Tortle power.
Garet vaults the edge of the boat and seeing Leigh with his hands/mouth full and Ian holding his ground, draws his dagger to add to his sunblade moves to engage the Lizardmen, for the merest of seconds he contemplates who is more foolish the fool or the fool who follows the fool.
He targets the first Lizardmen he encounters with a rapid diagonal slash, and then follows this quick thrust of the dagger, hoping to end the conflict quickly.

Her wings close over her body and face for a moment as she rises. Lifting her hand, she speaks in Celestial.
I call on Libra to protect us. I summon my sisters.
Suddenly, 9 slightly visible flying angels begin flying around her. They are stunningly beautiful creatures, with white eyes. They flit in and out of the party as if dancing, and immediately attack all lizardmen and boatmen within 15 feet of her in all directions.
