"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The point is we go to the dwarves dwellings: we may find only babies and elders. I guess it is better to follow the army to understand what is going on.
All in all, if they are walking with such heavery armors, they cannot run that much
Banzo falls in step with his fellow members of 'The Heroes of Chalice' and has Zeno, his black and white tuxedo pattern cat familiar use his heightened senses to help track.
Zeno's Perception: 23
"I'll have Zeno help us track."

The Heroes of Chalice break east and begin following the trail, after an hour or so they come to a large churned up area where it seems camp was made for the night.
Ennwyns sharp elven eyes note that the camp appears to be comprised of two distinct sections with two widely seperate areas where tents were pitched and ablutions performed.
As the companions search the area she finds a seemingly discarded belt that is worn through, the buckle carries the symbol of the town of Stonebridge.
( Others may investigate further as they wish.)
Zeno finds a small stock of cheese that apparently was mislaid, retrieving him Banzo discovers a patch of earth that was recently dug up and then recovered......from the size he's fairly sure it wasn't a privy.
Banzo kneels on one knee near the spot and points it out to the others.
"Does anyone have something to dig with?"

though I like her, she is always the same, ehhh, what can we do? you ask for help, she goes away... no matter
anyway...good Zeno, good
Herman takes a little shovel and starts to dig while asking
Enwyn, are you fine with all these dwarves around? and will you present yourself like the ruler of Firetop or what?! I mean, we must agree a version...
"It appears dat de army is headed to Firetop Mountain. My guess is dee dwarves of different groups vill fight for who rightfully owns dee mountain and all of treasure within. Dee result of Zagors fall have released Greed and Power, and dee evil demon princes visions invade der minds, poisoning dem to reason."
"I don't think they would of made the decision to go to war without giving it serious consideration."
Banzo will help Herman finish the digging.
"Although, I am extremely curious to know what would of prompted them to make such a decision."

Ennwyn sighed in frustration, " I sent the message to Stonebridge......but likely someone there got word to Mirewater......the two are at odds but its possible they've marched as one to Firetop....we only saw one set of tracks.....maybe they figure they'll sort things out after they've dealt with whatever they think is there..."
" Rancidbrawn and Ironhelm don't get along AT ALL......but they both have family links back to Clans Redweed and Battleaxe.......there are likely also Dwarves of Clan Battleaxe marching on it from the Moonstone Hills."
"Yes, dee dwarves of clan Battleaxe of the Moonstone Hills were driven out or killed during Zagor's first resurrection. It is said dat most starved to death, and dose who remained ver cursed by Zagor and became undead."
Tzedaka says, pulling knowledge from the collective knowledge of her kind.
“Vhatever his demonic rituals twist Dee dwarven spirits, skeleton, zombie, ghoul, even ghosts, but dis is olde history. Ve chave seen abominations as vell.”
"So what you're saying is... this isn't dwarves going to war with an unknown enemy, but instead dwarves going to war with other dwarves over some feud?"
Banzo waits for confirmation or clarification before also asking, "Wait... some of them may be cursed undead?"

"So... do we continue the way we were going, or try to follow the tracks?"
Banzo isn't sure which may be the better course of action.
The point is we go to the dwarves dwellings: we may find only babies and elders. I guess it is better to follow the army to understand what is going on.

”I agree width Cherman.” Tzedaka says looking at the tracks (assuming they are recent)
"And they are easy to follow, let's just go"
He says , starting to walk the road and waving the others to do the same

"Looks like something was buried over here."
Banzo kneels on one knee near the spot and points it out to the others.
"Does anyone have something to dig with?"
“I’ll be right back.”
Tzedaka effortless floats up into the sky to get a better look from long range. (looking for the army, cloud of dust of traveling army, etc.)

Banzo and Herman unearth a small leather wrapped cache of platinum coins ( 10 pl) and two rubies ( 50 gp each).
Tzedaka flies high into the air joined by Tannin and they can see the trail left by the dwarves heads off into the distance back towards Firetop....
Ennwyn rubs her chin in response to Hermans questions and considers her options.
Tzedaka floats back down to the ground.
Herman crosses his arms, reflecting
perfect..damn...we must speak out with their leaders and stop possible bloodshed, all in all we do have a say in that, don't we?
then he returns to shovel
ooc: finished digging?
"I don't think they would of made the decision to go to war without giving it serious consideration."

"What kind of, undead?" Tannin asks Tzedaka
