You guys do that. That is not my forte," Jocelyn says and puts a hand on the hilt of her sword. "I'll keep an eye out so we don't get ambushed." Her gaze wanders to the river. "Afterwards we could follow the stream to see what is poisoning it."
"If I may, it appears we have two choices before us. We can attempt to follow this "person" into the woods. If they are a survivor or someone not hostile to us they may provide valuable information to us. If they are not of the friendly variety then we are wandering in unfamiliar territory possibly into an ambush. The other option is we can go search the camp and hunker down for the night. This may give us clues as to what is going on. The downside to that choice is that if the person we just saw is not friendly, then they know where we are and could possibly be at risk for an attack. I'm inclined to go with the second option as I think we'll find out more information going through the camp. At the very least if I am going to be ambushed I'd prefer it to be out in the open as opposed to in a forest."
Karst and rolen find about 50 silver pieces from the tents, office, and other areas that where probably left behind in a rush.
Jocelyn finds herself staring at and enjoying a beautiful sunset.
((Just so I have this right in my head is it like a panic rush in those areas with a mess left behind or is it like coffee on the stove, cereal and milk still in the bowel on the table and just an absence of people kind of rush?))
Folwyn catches the sack, then sets it on the ground. "If these people are still alive, then they may want their money back. I have done some... unwise things in my life, but I would never steal from people who don't deserve to be."

"Given the state of the camp either these people fled and left anything they did not consider important or more likely they are dead. Either way leaving it around here just means that someone less scrupulous than ourselves can take it without any problems. I think it is better that we hang on to this for safekeeping." Rolen picks up the bag of coins and then looks over to Jocelyn and Erdot admiring the sunset, "I think at this point we need to pick a spot here to make camp and figure out how we are going to keep watch."

"Karst no fear of shadow sneak. If trouble return, Karst break like giant turtle in hippo's jaw."
And with that Karst heads toward the camp.
Erdot nods and agrees with the half-elf.
"Well then unless anyone else has any objections I suggest we start looking." Rolen heads towards the small field office.

Karst tosses the sack of coins over to Folwyn.
"Karst find some clink-clink but no else. Camp is quiet like lily patty in crocodile cove."
"It's beautiful here, tough!" Jocelyn exclaims while gazing at the sunset.

No matter how much I see it, the sunset is as beautiful as always. Erdot muses to himself.
