You all rest for an Hour and it passes mostly without incident. Every so often, you hear echoes of something heavy banging somewhere north of you, as well as loud screeches - you guess it’s from the door in the other fountain room. They don’t last for more than a few seconds however.
While Ithelion rests she spends some time updating her maps and notes for the recent areas as well as the queen's rooms.
(( We also discuss plans I assume ))
Ithelion you spend some time going over your thoughts and retracing your steps mentally. you remember several key points/quests given to you by various people. the hucrele twins, the Librarian, Karakas the ranger, Belak and the fruit, and Calcryx the dragon. here is your current map (with some notes to remind you).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Ok, now.
After a time, a particularly loud bang resonates from the north, followed by some loud chittering and the same odd squawking sound you heard earlier. A few minutes later, another loud bang followed by a series of pained howls and more chittering and screeching.
(I can roots behind us, or to the sides of us. So I don't mind me being in back)
just as a reminder, everyone please make sure you check off your spells slots as you cast them.
As you all get up and dust yourself off and shake out your muscles, the loud noise you heard north of your position halts you for a moment. Suddenly, a shrill sound breaks the relative silence: you recognize the sound as one consistent with your experience of giant rats in pain or dying. As Garnet and Daemyar cautiously move up the corridor, Krom just behind them, you get the the area just before the cells when you see them: 3 giant rats sniffing at the ground and a large shadowy figure behind them. As you pause to take it in, they become aware of you. They snarl and begin to bound towards you. Behind them, the shadowy image becomes more clear: an extra large rat-like creature on its hind legs, sniffing the air. As it gets your scent, it squawks - an awkward sound for a rodent, but chillingly apt - and then falls back to all fours. Its teeth are large in its drooling mouth, with yellow chunky pus flinging out with every jerk of its head. At this sound, the other giant rats seem to pause for a split second, then go back to running to meet you. It's body is misshapen and grotesque, with an array of open sores, leaky pustules, and boils adorning its body. Its fur pattern is patchy, like the other rats, and it's eyes glow a menacing yellow colour. Its bloated belly nearly touching the floor, follows the other rats more slowly, more cautiously. You also spy another rat behind the really big one but it isn't moving to engage yet.
@all - check the map, 5 feet per square. Try to tag your spells if possible [spell ]name of spell[ /spell ] (without spaces). Also be aware of ranged attacks in melee range, firing through allies, etc... it's a tight squeeze so some of this might come into play.
Roll initiative!!!!

Krom bushes the dust off from himself as he gets up, "If any of ye have a plan now would be the time to share."
Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
Ithelion frowns, "I think we may have just lost the opportunity to plan. We go investigate, however..."
"I hope that some fell in the pit, at least." She waits for Krom, Garnet and Daemyar to move up the corridor.
Krom takes up a forward position with his warhammer at the ready, as the group prepares for combat.

(( Assuming noone objects, I assume we move up the cprridor with cages, at least to its end... ))
Alright, tell me the marching order as you are currently moving up the corridor please.

(( How does this seem to everyone:
Korm + Garnet
Daemyar + Ithelion
Lorell
....or possibly Daemyar out front ))
(I can roots behind us, or to the sides of us. So I don't mind me being in back)
Garnet and Daemyar up front then. Sounds good.
