Garnet's fury collapses at Daeymar's scattered response and Shere's words of warning. She steps back from the two of them turning away unable to respond. She will make a half hearted attempt at smearing the blood off her sword. While she tries to calm herself repeating the words her master taught her long ago, to help temper herself.
Dozens of blunted and broken arrows lie on the cracked cobblestone floor, and a few protrude from three crudely sewn, human-sized targets hung along the center of the south wall. The northern third of the room is separated from the south by a crudely mortared and crenellated half-wall. A small camp of sorts lies north of the wall, complete with a fire ring and several small iron cook pots. Ithelion, as you and Elosa poke your heads in to look around, you see the above but hear a couple "twang" sounds from the north - the goblins have fired upon you both! (readied actions) At IthelionG4 - Attack:6Damage:8 At Elosa G5 - Attack:21Damage:5 *Ithelion ducks out of the way easily - a terrible shot and enjoying cover - but as she smiles she hears a "pop!" as one of the goblins makes a lucky shot on Elosa, winking her out of existence and back to her pocket plane...
Roll initiative. 6 G4 - 15 4 G5 - 13
Okay - so a bit of a error on my side here - I should have asked for initiative first, that's all. It simply changes what happens to Elosa - in that she does not get poofed out of existence this time. Sorry about that.
Ithelion and Shere - You are close enough to hear loud sniffs, followed by coughing of phlegm and spitting it on the ground. A low laughter emanates from the room and you hear the following: "Eh? Ah, I thoughts we were done wif all you people - we gots some good gold fer it. I can smell it on ye....how did ye get away, I thinks? I thinks Shamir would likes to know of the pup that got away...hehehe"
(( No complaints from me! Not sure I like the "this time", though ;-). Same basic response...new bits in green ))
Ithelion curses and reacts quickly, pulling her head back around the corner. She then dismisses Elosa, seeing her in imminent danger, and moves hurriedly in the direction of the others, "Two more, and a hobgoblin, all behind another barrier. We should retreat."
She pauses, glancing back in the direction of the hobgoblin, then at the bleeding and exhausted dwarf who remains, miraculously, on his feet, "I think we need time to regroup."
She shrugs at Shere, and manages a sheepish smile.
Ithelion re-summons Elosa in the next room as the last of the caltrops are gathered, then catches sight Daemyar, still looking strangely uncomfortable. Gods, he thinks I'm some kind of leader. Try to act like one! She walks up to him, and looks him up and down, frowning a little. "Took quite a beating, I see. You look as bad at the iron-clad dwarf!"
She glances back to where the dead goblin's body still lies, then turns, still frowning, but nods in approval. "Yet despite that, you made a good accounting for yourself. Well done."
With that she moves on, but continues speaking, "We could all do with time to rest and recover. Back to Meepo, or something nearer?"
Gods! He's just a child, allied with his traditional enemies, against his own kind. What drove him to this? She glances back to make sure he is following.
Catching the glare of the cat, Ithelion''s brief smile turns to a frown, "And what of you? Can you do anything to heal my friends? Or do you plan to just stand there glaring at me...it looks like one good hit would kill them."
Krom hobbles along behind the group to wherever they are going muttering to himself, "Can't tell if it's a wizard thing or a knife ear thing to be so bloody curious. Gonna keep gettin' us into trouble." He catches up to Daemyar pulling something from his bag and handing it over, "Here, ye look like ye be needing this more than I do or save it fer later." And Krom shoves a healing potion into Daemar's hands.
((Daemyar still has the +1 to his AC from before the undead fight and now has a potion of healing.))

Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
Ithelion's mood improves with Krom's remark, and she laughs, "It's a bad combination" she says gravely. "Only thing worse is an elven priest -- then you get curiosity and a hefty dose of self-righeousness as well!"
Daemyar looks concerned, perhaps even argumentative after Ithelion’s words and then downright distraught after Krom hands him the potion.
He starts crying silently to himself for a full minute before drinking the potion and just looks at the ground, not paying attention to where they’re going.
;Shere responds to the elf "I can Senorra, and I did earlirre. But if we arre to be rresting, we should heal enough. We need to head to the coffin room Chiquita. Goblinoids are superrstitious"
I think Daemyar wants to go back to the Kobolds, but I’m not set on that.
@daemyar - you are mentally shaken at this point and overwhelmed - and that's is without being told of just who is waiting for you in the next corridor! For the next while, you are at disadvantage on all ability checks.
The coffin room is as you have left it, as of now no new things have appeared to disturb things. The skeletons are still on the ground, in various stages of destruction. The door does not close properly, having been opened by magical means. You'd have to prop something up against it to stay, which is easy enough - you can pry a block or find some rubble from the corridor. At times the smells from the decomposing bodies in the corridor waft to your noses. You stop and look at each other - Are you short resting? Feel free to roll your HD here if you need to heal. Otherwise, you can continue on to the kobolds...you always have a friend in Meepo!
SIde note: while it seems like a long time has passed it hasn't really been that long - it's probably maybe noon in-game? You won't be able to long rest for a while. Just to keep it in mind.
Ithelion responds to Shere's question, "Does your plan require we rest in the room with the coffins? We would be safer back with the kobolds. Trapped in a room with one exit is not ideal. Besides, I have a question I'd like to ask Meepo..."
Garnet will walk in silence, she knows Daeymar is upset but she is still conflicted with her own anger and unwilling to apologise at this time.
Answering Ithelion."We should go back to the Kobolds. It gives us allies if we are followed." Garnet will state this and start heading that way direction.
When they reach the Kobold lair Garnet will take a short rest. Taking a moment to re-equip her shield.

A loud, rumbling laughter can be heard as you walk away: "Run away, run away" in common. Then some higher pitched laughing and cajoling in Goblin.
@ithelion - you take the bell and tripwire, no problem.
@daemyar - roll a wisdom check please
@all - do you want to retreat to the coffin room or the kobold enclave?
