@Shere you investigate the room but don’t find any evidence of trap doors or traps or any other entrances or exits. It seems like a store room. Lying on the ground and table are 5 battered scimitars, six short bows, and forty arrows (2 quivers).
@Garnet you can tell, from the giant rat and the tumors, boils, and bark-covered patches, that someone was trying to inject or infuse twig blights together with rats. If successful, it would be a formidable combination of traits. You wonder if Belak was successful...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shere picks up a quiver and a short bow knowing he'll run out of bolts sooner or later he returns to the hallway looks for his dagger and picks up any daggers from the darklings he wonders what special about them investigation: 11
Garnet looks in the piteous eyes of the giant rat strapped down, tumors covering its body, obviously in pain. Even though it is a hideous creature, it is the victim of a foul experiment that is offensive to her. She says aloud, “I am putting it out of its misery.”
Unless anyone else stops her, she pulls out her dagger and plunges it into the rats neck, ending its pain.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
@daemyar - none of the remains of the darklings are recognizable and all belongings and weapons have turned to ash or have melted. But, looking around the hall, you do find 2 daggers in the SW room. There is nothing interesting about them.
@ithelion - just the one roll is fine. In the ‘rat room,’ you find one large bottle of twig blight liquid - this is the stuff that was being infused to the rat. The SW room holds 3 vials of the spore poison that one of the darklings threw before. You also find a couple of nice crystal decanters as well. In the main hall, you find a plethora of materials, fungi, leaves, seeds, and tools. You find enough to make up a herbalism kit and alchemists supplies. In the chamber opposite the rat room, you find some goblin armor and needles, straps of leather and other common tailoring tools/items. In the SW chamber, the odor is overwhelming but there are several large and small cases of wine. There are lots of mushrooms and fungi, and roots used to mash into pulp.

The rat snarls in pain and wheezes as your blade enters its neck. It’s body is still and it evacuates the remains of its bowels, dripping at your feet. The stench of this room is oppressive.
As she finds things, Ithelion gathers them in the main corridor, then puts anything not wanted by anyone else in the Bag of Holding for later sale or use.
When she finds the wine, she raises her eyebrows, licks her lips, and looks around a little guiltily, before examining it more closely...

You remove the cork and sniff - it gives off a fairly pungent, strong, earthy odour. Looking at the various roots and ingredients, you don't recognize anything harmful - after all, it IS a wine press and it was being used regularly, given the amount of wine in the room. It's not made with fruits or berries, as you are accustomed but, as an aspiring oenophile, you're sure that this won't kill or harm you.

Investigation: 25 ( two more rolls if one for each room 10. 16 ) (( lol I hope one roll is good enough!))

Ithelion grimaces at the rat and hurriedly nods in agreement.
Daemyar nods to Garnet in approval.
“This was a lab then? An armory if it had been allowed to continue. Where did Belak find these creatures, I wonder.”
Daemyar investigates the bodies for signs of personal items.

Garnet walks out of the room, disgusted by the scene and the smell, and joins the others. She continues to move more quietly than normal.

Garnet looks over to Ithelion, “Is that “13 Rat Pinot”? Is there any label on it? I am _not_ drinking it if it is Merlot.”
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ithelion stares at the wine dubiously, but her brandy is running low...
"More likely a young Chateau d'Root."
She shrugs, and tentatively dips her finger in the bottle to taste.
