Ithelion glances at Garnet, and offers her the bottle then, if there is a convenient crate or similar, takes a dozen and adds them to the bag of holding. Desperate times, desperate measures.
"Well, now we know why those three fled."
She finishes her picking and packing, then looks at the door to the east. "Does anyone need a rest? I could use one, or I could wait."
She cleans her wound from the dagger, and grumbles about the damage to her clothes, while she waits for a consensus from the group.
Garnet smiles at Ithelion and says “Thank you, perhaps for later” and accepts the bottle of wine.
As to the suggestion of rest, she is open to it if others need to, but says “I would rather get out of this place before we stop to rest, it stinks in here.”
Also, unless anyone else stops her or suggests that she shouldn’t, she plans to smash the experimental equipment, cut the tubing, damage the ability to set up such a foul and offensive lab again.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

Where do you want to go next? The door to the west leads back to the mushroom farm area and there is an unopened door to the East, out of this hallway....
Ithelion nods, "Very well. Let's see what lies east." She retreats into the SE room and a spectral hand appears near the door at the east end of the corridor. She looks at Daemyar, "You, or me?" she asks with a slight smile as the spectral hand wriggles its fingers.
Elosa flies into the room, landing on Ithelion's shoulder, and also seems to stare at Daemyar, uncertain if she should settle where she is.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Daemyar makes to move off, Ithelion holds Elosa out, perched on the end of her wrist and waits a moment, looking at Daemyar. If Daemyar does not object, then Elosa jumps from her wrist to his shoulder, and Ithelion crouches down and resumes her watch through Elosa's senses.
Daemyar pauses at the door with a bird on his shoulder, listening for any sounds and searching for traps. The door is heavy and made of stone and nothing can be heard beyond it. There are also no traps discernable on this door, nor does it seem trapped in any way.
Daemyar, you push at the door and it begins to swing inward. The stone is nice and quiet, except for the end, where it grates against the floor and echoes into the chamber beyond. The door open, Daemyar and Ithelion (via bird) see nodules of luminescent fungus hanging from the ceiling and walls and growing in clumps on the flagstone floor. The light illuminates portions of grand bas-relief carvings on the stone walls that aren't covered with the fungus. The carvings depict dragons in various stages of raining fire down upon terrified people. Soil and compost cover half the chamber's floor, which allows a variety of feeble plants to grow. A bench containing simple gardening implements stands along the west wall.
This long chamber is about 150-160 feet long and about 40 feet wide at its widest point. To the south, there seems to be a closed wooden door. Directly east is another wooden door. To the north, yet another wooden door.
Daemyar, you take some time to quickly walk through the area, looking for telltale signs of traps. All you find, however, is the fungi and plants on the walls and floor. You notice that they seem to be well tended and free of weeds.
As you move from the south of the long chamber to the north, glancing to your left at the door you came through at your companions, you are about 15 feet away from the door before it opens and a tall and giant humanoid steps through! This muscular, savage-looking creature stands at least 7 feet tall. Coarse hair covers most of its body. Its mouth is full of long, sharp fangs, and its nose is much like that of a bear. It holds a wicked looking sickle-headed glaive and a number of gardening implements at its waist. Over its shoulder you notice a huge crossbow. It snarls at you and Elosa before grunting (in Goblin), "Ugh, intruders! I thought I smelled hobgoblin stink. Your corpse will feed my plants!"
Ithelion and Daemyar - you recognize this as a bugbear, though it looks a bit different than you recall bugbears looking: there are strange growths and bits of vine growing from its body. It’s arms glow slightly - the same color as the fungi on the floor and walls. It seems as if you’ve met the gardener!
Once past the initial aroma, the wine tastes earthy as expected but offers a nice sweet aftertaste. Not bad for wine mashed by darkling feet!
