Ithelion will start to summon an unseen servant for the purpose of distributing caltrops. It will take 10 minutes. She will so something else if Elosa detects sounds or movement.
Ithelion nods, "If you wish. But take some caltrops, spread them in a pattern as you go." She begins to utter arcane words, but then realizes that she can no longer perform the simple spell. Instead she draws some marks on the ground:

"...and so on. They are hard to see and may slow them -- but not us if we know that they are there."
here's a map for your reference. Note that I made a mistake - there is no door at the north end of this hallway - it's a corner. I put you all behind the corner.

Is Elosa in the hallway where you are in the map? Or sending her further down hallway?
Elosa sees/hears to 120' and the hall is about that length. Given the map, I would put her 20-30' down the hall so (1) she can fly back with ease, and (2) she could (possibly) hear noises past the door, and (3) we could advance to her position with ease. Perhaps she is perches on the first dragon on the left?
Are the dragon/statues/ornaments light sources, or something else?
Krom shakes his head and stretches, his limbs feeling stiff from standing around, "Lets just get this over with. I'm wantin' a warm meal and cold tankard of ale 'for the next sundown." He moves 25 feet down the hallway and waits to see if anyone follows.

Daemyar takes the caltrops and proceeds to sneak back into the library, laying caltrops as prescribed until he can find the enemy.
