@lorell - as you reach out and place your hand to the shield, you too disappear leaving only the Genasi and the Dwarf standing to face the onslaught of arachnids.
The wave of spiders were hesitating, fear instilled in them thanks to Ithelion and Lorell's intervention. The sound that eminates from the approching swarm is bone chilling, it's a lyrical sound that is sad or mornful. For a moment Garnet thinks to feel pity, however as soon as the thought crossed her mind, it vanishes. The screams of the party members the night before become bubbled up in her mind. She sees the walls littered with broken, deserted shields, the bones hiding in the corners of the room, feels the pain from her own inguries and all she feels is anger. There is no pity here. Garnet steps towards the Harper shield tossing her torch at the advancing spiders and roars at them. A loud primordial sound that she fills with all the extra adrineline and rage for the deaths that this room has claimed. Then presses her hand to the shield.
( A little over dramatic but .... I really don't like spiders)
Garnet touches the shield and disappears, leaving the stalwart dwarf and his warhammer as the only target left in the room. The spiders are everywhere now and the flaming one is heading towards you slowly. The smaller spiders run around it and even over it, catching on fire as well. Some of the more brazen spiders, sensing weakness, begin to nip at its legs. It’s not in melee range yet but will be soon if you stay put. The sound of them clattering all around you, Krom, is deafening - or perhaps it was the genasi’s scream of rage that continues to echo against the walls...
Seeing that everyone has made it through, Krom follows behind Garnet as quickly as his stumpy legs can carry him to the shield. As he turns to take off, Krom casts Thaumaturgy to cause the light from the torch, and any other fire, to flare up as much as possible hoping to blind the spiders just long enough for him to touch the shield.

As Krom inches backwards towards the shield, reassured by the knowledge that his companions are safely away, casts his cantrip. Immediately both torch and the flames on the burning spider flare up dramatically. The spiders screech and wail, Krom grins as he touches the shield. His grin fades when he sees the giant wolf spider - the one who is on fire - begin to run towards him with speed. The last thing you see, Krom, is the blazing wolf spider jumping at you as you place your hand on the shield and disappear. The spider comes down, sharp legs scratching the area where you were but a fraction of a second before...
@all - The feeling is like nothing you have felt before. You feel your body dissipating, spreading out. Lights rush past you, even though “you” isn’t a body - it’s just a sense of you being present in some form. And as soon as it has begun, it’s over. You all tumble out of the shadow of a large oak tree and land in a heap. Only Elosa doesn’t seem affected and she flies up to perch in the tree. As you extricate yourselves from each other, you notice the day seems like a good one: the sky is clear with few clouds, temperature warming as the Sun is rising quickly in the sky. It is around 9 in the morning.
Your surroundings are true to Adathar’s description. The tree near you is near a well traveled road leading to the East And to the west. From Adathar's description, heading due north will put you on a course towards Oakhurst.
Local
There is no immediately discernible trail north from where you are currently but perhaps a survival check might allow one or more of you to plot your course effectively. From Adathar's description of the area Oakhirst should be about 25 miles or so to the north, which you could cover much of if you travel most of the day at normal speed (assuming there is no difficult terrain or encounters that occur during your travel).
Here is a overview of the area, which I already posted earlier. Each hex is about 8 miles. What does the party wish to do?
Ithelion stands and glances up at Elosa in the tree, shaking her head at her apparent equanimity. After a moment she looks into the distance, in part to be sure that it is what it seems to be: the trees, the breeze, the autumn leaves...the beauty around her gives her brief comfort, but then the memory of what she has escaped comes back to her in a rush.
“The sounds that the spider made…”
She shudders and forces the memories to a safer distance. Crouching on the ground and opening her pack she says, “I needs a few moments to compose myself -- and I could do with a rest -- but it might be worth getting some distance from here, just in case anything comes to investigate..or...or follows.”
She takes out her waterskin, a carrot, and her diary. She writes hurriedly while eating the carrot, then repacks her belongings quickly. As she does so, she speaks in the slow and gravelly voice of an old man, “There is no experience in this world that does not contain a valuable lesson, my dear”. Then, in her normal voice, she continues, “Garastas always tells me that. Well...lesson learned: Theory and practice are very different.” She suppresses another shudder, and absent-mindedly starts to clean the grime from her clothing, hoping to rid herself of the smell of charred flesh.
When she is done – no more than a few minutes later – she looks around says, “I think he said north? Perhaps...that way", she says pointing towards what she thinks might be a path between the hills heading in the right direction.

The strange sensation of the teleport leaves Garnet feeling momentarily disconnected. She reaches down one hand crunching a fist full of soil, grounding herself from the after effects of the teleport. Looking around the sun is almost blinding not in it's brightness, but in the memory of the well's darkness. Garnet sees that all four of her companions have made the jump through and feels a bit of relief. She shrugs her pack on the ground and takes a seat beside it. She remains silent bringing her sword across her knees and using her cloak to wipe as much of the ichor from the blade as she can, even risking a bit of water from her waterskin to ensure the blade can be sheathed clean. Looking down at herself she sighs heavily, the sword may be clean but everything else is still splattered in spider remains. Garnet does her best to wipe her face and arms with the clean parts of her clothing, wincing when she touchs the injured areas but thankful for her resistance to the poison. She remains seated a moment taking time to exist and reflect on the experience, to learn from her mistakes. Idly Garnet listens, and watches her other companions recover. Observing Ithelion's personal conversation with herself while the girl scribbles away. After a few minutes Garnet rose to her feet to to look around and See if she could decern a good path.
Daemyar puts his broad brim hat into place, and cloak around himself. “There’s plenty in the world that I’ll never understand. No sense getting worked up by it.”
He parks himself under the tree, and looks to the others. “You should sew up those wounds. I can help you, but don’t complain about the needlework.”

Lorell casts healing word on Garnet 6. Lorell then slumps down onto the ground feeling the nature around him, feeling at ease. "Taking a small rest would be the best course of action" Lorell says.
After unceremoniously exiting the portal in a heap of beard and metal, Krom waddles behind the oak tree and off a little ways from the group proceeding to empty the contents of his stomach. He washes his beard out with some water from his waterskin and comes back to the group a little shaken up. "I don't like spiders. Too many eyes ya know." He takes a swig from his waterskin and sits on the ground with a sigh. "If ye want to rest 'fore movin' on, I don't blame ye one bit."

Garnet blinked in surprise when her wounds stiched together. She rubbed her arm a little awkwardly and offered her gratitude. "Thank you Lorell." The overall agreement of her companions was to remain for a time and rest. She still felt a little on edge, full of anxious energy, however she recognized the wisdom in resting. Everyone looked a little worn from the experience and who knows what more they may face. Looking to Ithelion Garnet appreciates the elf's concern but waves her hands out in declination " No, no it's alright please, save your spells. It just grime now. " She pulls back her sleeve to show the now healed wounds. "We are in an unfamiliar area. You may need them for something more important. But I do think we should take a look at the map Adathar gave us, to see which way we need to go from here."
Lorell yells "We can't take that, we've got to go!" gesturing towards the spiders. Lorell reaches out and touches the shield.

Ithelion sits again with undisguised enthusiasm, "That's a relief! I thought you would all want to keep moving."
Turning to Garnet she frowns, "Im sorry, I did not realise you were wounded, let me help.... At least with the cleaning."
If Garnet agrees she would try to use prestidigitation to clean the clothes around the wound, initially.
(( Edit: Depending on timing for everyone: happy to keep moving after the rest is complete ))
