Yevele slowly roamed through the establishment looking at the various items on display. She didn't now what most of the items actually did nor understood why anyone would want some potion or scroll to help them. The monks she was raised with always talked about using their ki to harness their inner power that most people ignored. The Master appears to have been able to harness her ki, but, she also was willing to use other sources of power where appropriate. Having little money to spare, Yevele didn't spend much time dwelling on what the items in this shop could do for her.
When her mates are ready to go, she will follow them to tavern or to the solictor's office.
OOC: Removed 1 gp from Jarnick and Noah. Removed 7 gp and 4 cp from Ryona
Added healer's kit to Malfearance. Added sack to Ryona. Added sack to Noah. Added chalk to Yevele. Added chalk to Falenas. Added spikes and grappling hook to Jarnick.
I'm going to move everyone along to the tavern since it seems like that's everyone's next destination. If there's anything else you want to do at the shops or your character has a separate destination just include it in your next post and we can handle it asynchronously so things keep moving.
JARNICK & RYONA:
"All her students I've met came from abroad," the half-elf shopkeep answers, "Most folks around here are pretty well traveled, or they will be once they get tired of stickin' around."
He hobbles to and fro, gathering your requested items, and exchanges them for your coin, wishing you well when you depart.

EVERYONE, TEN MINUTES LATER...
As you open the door to the Rowdy Room (with Rat taking the place of Maelfearance, who sets up shop outside), you are greeted to the smell of stale ale and roasting meat. A loud crash draws your attention to the center of the room, where two human miners brawl on the ground. Behind the bar, a woman with a long black braid and tattooed arms gives a loud laugh at the fight. The door to the kitchen swings open and a wiry, blue-haired woman wearing an apron and wielding a rolling pin like a club dashes in and starts beating the drunken brawlers. "All right, all right. Break it up, you fools!" the blue-haired woman bellows as the miners stumble to opposite corners of the room, clearly terrified of the chef. She turns to the woman at the bar and says, "Really, Zara? It's too early for this," before storming off into the kitchen. The bartender just laughs all the harder.
Falenas just will engage in some casual conversation about the book with the half-orc for a couple of minutes.
After entering the tavern, the smell reminds Falenas that they haven't eaten in a while, so after the conmotion he will go to the bar and order some food and drink for the party. "This happens a lot around here?", he asks to the bartender.
Noah watches the brawl with an eyebrow raised, somewhat amused by the obstreperous atmosphere that they had suddenly entered. He follows Falenas to the bar, stepping carefully around the two miners. He'll pitch in for his own food and drink, seating himself wherever the group would like to situate for a meal.
"Might as well cheer up with a meal. I assume we're still headed to Hedwick's after this?"
When Jarnick hears the ruckus, he put his hand on the grip of his rapier, ready to stop the fight, but then the woman comes out and handles it.
Where Jarnick comes from, there were rarely bar fights, more of that when the town starts expanding, he slightly frowns as the scene reminds him of that.
He goes to sit down and eat, he mumbles while eating, "I heard the bartender laugh, is this something normal in bars? Huh, everything seems so strange outside of my town."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sitting at a table, Ryona's attention shies from the fight. Here it is - a genuine tavern turned into a hub for adventurers. She wondered how many of the other patrons might be looking to them now, assessing them, in a glance, or with interest. She allowed herself to indulge in her fantasy for a moment, looking to see if they did catch any but the bartender's attention.
Insight: 25 + Perception: 13
She offers a little smile when the others come to the table, where she hands out the few things she got, saying that they might be useful later on. To Yevele, she'll lean closer to quietly ask if the village was as simple as it seemed to be. Once they're at the table, she'll speak to the group.
"It seems the adventurers before us kept things clean around here, and it took the effort of a single gnome and a rolling pin to keep order for the most part." She smiles. "Either she's one extraordinary lady, or there's nothing to worry about here. Before that, let's try to relax a little! We might be running through a dangerous vault soon, for all we know."
She'll enjoy the time with her friends, talking about the things they might soon afford. To Maelfearance's rat, she carefully offers a nibble, joking with it that his master ought to steal some from the table. If the group is content to move on to the Parabor Solicitor after a meal, she is as well.
The bartender smiles mischievously at Falenas and Noah as the rest of the party finds a table nearby. "There's always bluster where drink is involved. It's nothing more than that though. Those are the advantages of being the only supplier of ale in town, no one'll do anything bad enough to get themselves thrown out of it."
She sets down the glass she was cleaning. "We're nothin' fancy, six copper pieces for a meal, and a silver piece on top of that if you need a room," she says.
For Ryona:
There is so much happening in the tavern that it's difficult to notice whether glances are aimed at you or simply other patrons around you. It seems easy to determine where this place got its name. It's still rather early in the day for so much ruckus.
Jarnick pays for his meal, and continues to mumble, “Where do we go after visiting Hedwick? Should we check the locals to get an idea, rumors and opportunity for adventure, those sorts of things?”
Once Noah receives his meal and drink, he'll motion to Falenas to follow him and seat himself at the table with the rest of the party. He eats his meal quickly, not having eaten much before the ceremony.
In response to Jarnick: "I'd argue for us to cross that bridge when we come to it. After all, Hedwick may have some kind of task for us when we arrive."
((Malfearance is just having Rat go around the edges of the room, always ready to run if endangered, but listen through the familiar to see if any of the customers in the place drop any juicy information, gossip or such. I don't really expect any but I take it as a habit Mael is in with Rat which fosters the sense the he knows things he shouldn't and such when he does catch useful tidbits. If nothing of note happens, Rat will find their way out when the rest of the party does and Maelfearance will be waiting to fall into step with them.))
The chef arrives with your meal very quickly; it is passable food, a watery onion and beef stew with some cheese, but nothing compared to the veritable delicacies of Elaria Feywing's manor.
For Maelfearance:
Rat overhears a lot of small talk, most of which discusses Elaria's death. Nobody seems to be surprised, considering her age, but many toasts are being raised to her spirit nonetheless.
OOC: Removed 6 cp from each character except for Maelfearance for the meal. This afternoon meal covers the amount of food you need for the day. Note that Maelfearance will need to eat today or suffer a level of exhaustion.
Yevele remained quiet throughout the meal. While the rest of the group seemed to be planning their future lives together, Yevele was wondering what the future held for her. When the Abbot sent her to study with the Master, she thought that she would be returning to the monastery when her training was finished. But, she had heard no word yet on when she would be returning. Thinking back to her last conversation with the Abbot, she remembered his words:
"We sometimes send one of our members out in the world with instructions to not divulge any relationship with us and to not try and contact us for any reason. Often this is for their own safety. Although you are not being sent on such a mission now, consider this a test to see if you can follow those restrictions. I will allow you to divulge your origins to your classmates, but, not to anyone outside of the Master's academy. When it is time for you to return home, we'll notify you. Until then, you are simply an aspiring fighter."
Perhaps, the counselor, Hedwick, would have some word from the Abbott waiting for her. But, if there was no word from the Abbott, and she left with her classmates, how would the Abbott know where to reach her?
You each finish your meal quietly and exit the noisy tavern to the streets of Parabor. The sun is past its high point behind the overcast clouds, and the rain has stopped, creating a cool but humid atmosphere.
A small bell rings in the doorframe as you enter the solicitor's office. The smell of paper twinges in your nose. Neatly stacked books and files seem to fill every shelf, table, and available surface of the gnome's crowded workspace. "Thank you so much for coming," Yelsa Hodwick's voice chirps shakily behind her desk. The gnome scurries off of her chair and says, "Oh, excuse me. I seriously need to file these," as she picks up papers off of the seats of three chairs and couch set up across from her desk. "May I offer you all some tea?"
Still standing, waiting for the others to decide first where they will sit, Falenas says smiling "Thanks, that would be very appreciated. How can we help you Ms.Hedwick?"
"Tea would be lovely," Maelfearance assures her as he moves to looks at the the books and files scattered around, taking in titles and such with interest but not touching a thing.

((Mael will just pick at his rations throughout the day...))
Having finished the meal, without any ado, Ryona will go to see what Hedwick has to say, along with (everyone) all willing.
Noah will quickly finish the stew (not very mindful of its quality) in order to follow Ryona to Hedwick's.
Since Jarnick was eat-talking, he finishes his meal early, ready to go.
"Well, it seems we're ready to go" Falenas says this as he finishes up his meal and stands up.
